The hotel is medium size, arranged and already somewhat older. The decor is outdated - nevertheless it is decorated in a friendly style. The cleanliness but me anyway the larger priority-and it is clean, you meet constantly on cleaning ladies. The hotel advertises as a' suite hotel', it is but also normal double room available. We had a queen suite, had however the luck, a free upgrade to a king junior suite. In the normal room price is no breakfast available ( there many rooms with a kitchen!), but optional to be bought. Guest structure as everywhere in the summer ... vacations: young, old, many europeans, but also locals. There at this time the street-comedy -theater in Victoria was, the hotel was fully booked. Unfortunately was for our hotel area just an old, very slow elevator available - which regularly waiting times requested. The hotel offers in the courtyard free parking spaces -it is barely from, for all of the guest. But you can always find a parking. read more

Our upgrade to a king junior suite was perfect, the room huge. Large separate bedroom included flatscreen tv, for this somewhat small bathroom. Balcony available. Big living room with sofa, fireplace and flatscreen tv. Separate dining area and separated kitchen. The kitchen was also already somewhat older, however everything available. Oven, fridge, toaster, microwave, this cookware. Towels for the washing, washing-up means etc. Everything available. You can stay in this kitchen without any problems a small menu cook. All toiletries available. Bathrobes and plenty of towels available. Safe, ironing board and iron, plenty of storage space and built-in cupboards. Also in all the rooms relatively express wi-fi free available. The room is but somewhat outdated now, everything is a bit shabby - therefore a small deduction.

We didn't go to the restaurant - but it has a really great hotel shop! It is everything (butter, jam, milk, muesli, etc. etc.) in small portions can be bought. It is of course a lot more expensive than if you anywhere else buys, but you can at least only so much shopping, that you need - without the rest way pitch must! We enjoyed the very positively surprised, especially, because one in Canada anyway everywhere only huge packages shopping.

  • Service
    6.0

We can do only little from the service evaluate, but the service, which we use/received, was great. Faster and very friendly chek/in, everything important explained and with questions gladly helped. Foreign languages skills I can't rate, as we well in English converse could. Cleaning of the rooms also without tip worked well.

Pool, fitness room, leisure room, jacuzzi anscheinen available - but we didn't use it, therefore no review.

The location is perfect! Somewhat remote of the main street, but nevertheless centrally located. At the beautiful port from Victoria, in downtonw, or the royal bc museum you are on foot everywhere about minutes. If you further away would like to, shopping center etc. , the own rental car carry forward, or cheap bus use. Excursions as mentioned above, port from Victoria, various parks, royal bc museum, etc. While we were there was the comedy street festival, which of course many guests, food stalls and artists in the streets from Victoria locket, so was tidy something going on in the town!

We were upgraded upon an upgrade to a suite, very friendly reception. The suite with full kitchen, balcony, TV in the separate living and bedroom. Bathroom big enough, very clean, lighted magnifying mirror. The decor in the English style we comfortable. The beds for larger folks a bit short. Overall the hotel made a very neat impression. Friendly service at breakfast. Parking is free in the courtyard. The camp is centrally located, Victoria can be explored on foot. There is possibilities for Whalewating, flight with the water-plane, Museum, walks. Especially the walk to Fisherman's Wharf with the Hausbooten with Eßen ... with Barb's place we liked it very much. read more

At the Royal Scot suite hotel we spent 2 nights of our honeymoon-Canada package. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. One could forget the car on the free parking in the courtyard and is in a few minutes on foot from right on the wharf. read more

The double room is big and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable here and us over the balcony looking forward to it. The room has TV, air conditioning, mini bar/fridge and telephone. Both the room and the bathroom were in pristine condition and very clean.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The basement has a PC, you can use for a small amount of money. As they don't photos of the digital camera on a USB stick, made this a lady could pull the information the next day for us - really nice.

The hotel is located in a quiet and little busy main street side street but it is so central, being able to travel a short walk along the beach promenade was. In the morning you will be woken up by the seagulls - great if you like it: -)
