it is a small privately run hotel with all in all 32 rooms. The condition the area is as average rating. Both the cleanliness, as well as the condition is. The specific for international guests were mixed. Percentage but it is about 60% French. Unfortunately everything is only on these specific for international guests laid out. This means as German one is rather unwelcome and that makes you one also feel. We booked half-board. There was daily a menu and a few other dishes (the however never changed) to the election.     Are the rooms nice thought. Everything in the shabby chic style with English porcelain mountings, freestanding bath tub, Four poster bed, walk-in shower and flat screen. Unfortunately, everything was quite run down and immense dirty. There is not even a slatted frame. Instead a chipboard. Accordingly you can sleep. The mosquito net was extremely yellowed defendendo. The air conditioning very moldy. The shower very dirty and also much mold in the joints. The toilet brush looked like the train station, the hinges of the closets were partly broken etc. etc. it is in all the rooms a safe, minibar, hair dryer, kettle, telephone and a terrace or balcony. the offered television is exclusively French or English. One had the possibility of pay TV to book. However also only French. So uninteresting for us.

    So the breakfast is very monotonous and little choice. There is 100% daily the same. Rolls there is not at all only mushy Baguettes and dry toast. the aperitif there was evenings always a little finger which we found good. the food in the restaurant is good, more but also not. So everything in the Asian area is the kitchen really good. If there however in the upper direction with foie gras, thedelights etc. they have big problems. the atmosphere is evenings very nice. Everything went to the pool, therefore around instead. Very nice made. Sometimes there evenings live musicbut unfortunately often too loud was there in this small hotel the space is limited. so tip you should always in the bag have to the friendliness to buy. Sounds sad at is however unfortunately Sunday the prices are actually quite okay. Aperitif around 10 euros per person appetizers the 6a 15 euros Hgs between 15 and 24 Euro. However these are the prices for people who half board booked and better service à-la-carte want to eat. So without half board are the prices significantly higher.

    So to staff we can unfortunately only say that you only really friendly treated if you constant give a tip. Certainly, we recognize that you are as waiters, housekeeping etc. not a fortune deserves, however one should in a hotel category as this is a fundamental friendliness suppose. They speak only French or crioulo. However English is also possible. Despite the one on Mauritius 30-40% German speaking guests has one goes onto the language not at all a. The Housekeeping we can unfortunately only say the our room in an absolutely catastrophic condition was. Mold and in the air conditioning, Roan in the shower, no slatted frame, but a chipboard, calcified mountings, broken closets-May not only the HK responsible but it should at least on the cleaning and the technology to be communicated. Our bed sheets was detected after 6 days changed. In the outer door were the crack size so large that unhindered large cockroaches crawl could-what they did. we complained right on the first day about the condition of the room with the please change. They told us they only with this possible is. When we then still permitted to ask what it with the half board menu and the à la carte dishes, which were partly with and some without prices excellent were in was the owner of my wife and the present travel guide opposite very unfriendly.     the location is actually really beautiful directly on the Indian ocean in a closed area. However is the beach rather mediocre. So if you'have time on the Maldives was madly disappointed his. Also the water was rather restless since the complex is located in a bay. The beachside water are many broken bottles and trash. At first glance it seems really a beautiful hotel. If you have a closer look everything changes this opinion however fast. From the airport there are by bus about 60 minutes You could go shopping at the CIRCA 8 kilometer away Grand Baie. Actually offers the hotel a daily shuttle bus(4 x) with the boat. However apparently only if you want. During the two weeks when we were there, it was not even. Solely with the hotel bus you could drive. Excursions are actually from the hotel itself offered. But also since it seems to be that one the Franz. Guests very preferred. We actually wanted to go to the hotel's own Private island to BBQ and we wanted times snorkeling and also on the windjammer from the hotel we wanted to go with. Unfortunately, we have all trips despite repeated demand refused. With such hypocritical statements as the boats were broken or the water is today to restless eTC. Without exaggerating we can say as German really as a guest second class treatment. We ourselves are restaurateurs from the 5 star category and we can therefore a really comprehensive judgment. So if someone go on excursions want then definitely on the Reiseargentur book. Especially recommended is' Mauritius a la car '. You get a private driver for about 8 hours car. The driver speaks fluent German and you can see the hotspots the island choose carefully to you really cozy and without stress is driven. Our driver was called Jason and we can it only most warmly highly recommend. This was the best day.

With high personnel costs will a very unique hotel with excellent kitchen holdings. Our expectations in all points exceeded. Particularly the individual desk and flat Iceland had huge fun. The staff was very competent and friendly without being pushy. Small but very fine! read more

The hotel is with 28 rooms and 5 suites relatively small and was exactly what we were looking for. A contrast to the partial very large Resorts in Mauritius. The breakfast was french. It had eggs in all variations, fresh juice, much fresh fruit, Crepes, jams, honey, with the bread no choice, but only baguette (the but very fresh), however only in each case a sort of boiled ham and cheese (no variations in two weeks). The dinner was very good. There was evenings a menu (much fish, a lot of local color) and the possibility individual components with the ... offer from the menu to change. The quality of the food was hard to beat. There was in two weeks no repetitions. So very good. The guests consisted of various nationalities together: French, Belgians, Swiss, Dutch, English and German. The French-speaking guests prevail. read more

    Our room was in very good condition with bath tub and extra shower (in the closet). The room was nothing special large( room 36) but nice and functional (also feast Mosquito net) furnished. From the balcony in the inner courtyard with a pool complex and by the palm trees on the sea look. The room was clean.

    The staff in this hotel is truly remarkable. All are very friendly and accommodating. We at any time felt at ease. That actually applies to all areas, from the front desk on the gastronomy and the boat crew and Sporthelfer as well as the room staff. Strong praise it is on the whole team. Languages: French and English; German is not spoken

    The hotel lies on a large Bay from Grand Bay, directly opposite of the city in a peaceful area. The hotel is an oasis of peace. Behind the large throug you can hear practically nothing from the noise of street. The small beach is artificially created but convenient. Beautiful Wooden beach chairs in the sand under the palm trees or sun screens with a view of the Bay. After Grand Bay you can four times daily free shuttle of the hotel use, the one in about 10 minutes directly to the center grand Bay brings. A additional ' Abendshuttle ' would be nice. But now with the taxi complete. During the day of course you could also easy with the in the hotel free available bicycles fast times into town cycling. Not a problem ( the bikes were in really good condition). With the wheels one can by the way in about 10 minutes also a large public beach takes( dreamlike Bay of circa 6a 7 kilometer length). Grand bay is the tourist stronghold in the North the island. Town center everything you need ( supermarkets, rental car company, Souvenir shops, stores for clothes, bars, restaurants etc.). We have made a trip: the Katamanran after flat island. The we can definitely recommend. Is not very cheap ( about 100 euros), but really worth every penny. It is in the morning beautiful boat (on the enough room is; a maximum of 18 guests) in about two hours in the lagoon of flat island. There you can snorkeling. Then the guests the dinghy at country( the island is from the hotel exclusive leased) and then from the beach with a Golfkarre on the island to an old ruin brought. There is absolute peace! In front of the ruin is a great sandy beach. You can get large Liegesäcken under sun screens lazing around and for attunement a cocktail get. Afterwards on the wooden deck outside the ruin( earlier Quarantänekrankenhaus of Mauritius) a beautiful three-course time served. It is simply dreamlike. The distance of the hotel from the airport could Mauritius hardly bigger( airport in the south-east- hotel in the North-West the island). But the transfer in a large taxi was nevertheless not too bad (about half an hour).

If the door opens and makes this hotel the wonderful landscaped area enters inside you'll feel at home away from home and at the same time. The pool, the bar and the restaurant are almost at a glance- the complex is small, but fine. Everything is tastefully furnished (library, billiard room, extensive couch areas, opened fireplaces) and gives the impression, in a private cottage, somewhere in France or England to find. Also the rooms -in its own cottage with attached terrace style seemed friendly and welcoming. The service staff is very much trouble, this impression by decoration (rose petals, figures ... from towels) to increase. The quality and taste restaurant really good food in a wonderful atmosphere. The diversity of the offered dishes was small but without exception very tasty. For a longer stay it is still every now and then a culinary trip to the nearby (a few minutes by taxi or hotel's own boat) to grand Baie, in order to bring a bit of variety in the menu. If you're planning a beach holiday, should maybe consider another hotel, since the hotel's own small sand bank not really can speak from a beach. The swimming is mindful of stones and hotel's own Craft better the relatively nearby public beaches of grand Baie, Mont Choisy and trou aux biches effect. The transport from one point to another may be carried out in Mauritius actually everywhere without any problems with the taxi. The rates are reasonable and are always at official goals-there are no negative surprises. The hotel also has a complimentary boat shuttle service to and from grand Baie (the largest city in the immediate environment, which on supermarkets, restaurants, a bank and a whole lot of boutiques has) per day, or a couple of times. Closing I should like, that both the management of the hotel as well as the staff of the hotel guests from French-speaking countries set and culturally preferred. If so the entrance (as at home in the last two days), we know that many French guests in the hotel Quartier relate, then it can happen, that the usual fast and smooth service for all the other loses momentum and efficiency. read more

20° Sud is the a really recommendable hotel nearby grand Baie (Grand Bay) in the north-west of the island. Very nice and extraordinary the view from the beach on the Bay of Grand Baie, on the famous coin de mire and mountains further south in the interior( for example the striking mountain Pieter both). The Belgian owner working very hard to that end, all guests very good. We were even personally welcomed-where you otherwise. The structure of the guests was very mixed, some German speaking guests were always in the hotel. Unfortunately not yet many guests holidaycheck evaluation of the ... hotel. The main building is on the ground floor completely usable and offers rooms and small cozy Corners as well as a great library with the sea water aquarium. read more

    we had a charm-room and received one, which was very close at the beach (only a few steps) was. These rooms are not very large, but have everything, which one needs( air conditioning, Safety deposit box, TV...). A separate bathroom with beautiful bathtub and a further area( shower and toilet). In addition there is an outdoor seating area( balcony), of whom we have a beautiful view to the beach and the pool/bar.

    The restaurant is great. It shows that, not that many-hotel guests evenings the food and the ambience and of course the quality of the dishes and the service. The breakfast is very rich and very varied. Afternoon tea is there to delicious cakes. And evenings the dinner was good and often discreet music played, so that one felt comfortable right away. You can in the restaurant or at the atmospheric lit pool area food. There are selection of the menu and the food is already terrific. Because the hotel exclusively half board offers, the drinks still to be paid. But that makes you simply because the atmosphere pleasure-including drinks after dinner at the bar...

    the hotel lies on a small beach section in Grand Baie and opposite the place. The hotel is on the map of HC registered. You can see the boat, from which one several times daily the free boat transfer after Grand Baie (US) can be used, the hotel. You should definitely make. The hotel lies in the middle of a quiet Settlement along the coast. Here you can relax in all peace look back and see the country and its people. A small shop is a bit far away, if you street to the west. A small problem it is, if you at the beach along you want to go. In this part of the island is the only partially possible, there are many sections built up, unfortunately. One comes as for example not to the hotel 'le cannonier'( at the beach along). Opportunities for excursions there are many, for example having regard to Port Louis or after pamp Elmo usses.
