The hotel captivates especially because the consistently polynesian style, where all the buildings are required. The open, pflanzendurchzogene reception and the great garden i found particularly charming. We had a beach bungalow directly at the beach booked, although not huge, but the space was adequate. The road who the hotel/front desk the beach- and overwaterbungalows separates not disturb at all. When we were there from 4 nights a free upgrade to half board, which we of course took advantage. The dinner consisted of 3 courses and was always really good. The breakfast was not as extensive, but okay. The fruit ... was always plentiful. We were welcomed with a fruit plate in the bungalow and at the end of the week a small bottle of champagne with regards from the management, which i very pleasant found. The small supermarket a piece of the road down was also very convenient. Which i would like to positively highlight is the helpfulness of the staff. As i unfortunately got sick one has a taxi organized, the me to the doctor and pharmacy drove and always waited until i was finished. Bicycle and moped rentals is also directly in front of the hotel to find (moped is unfortunately expensive). All in all, a really charming, friendly hotel, where that price- leisitungsverhältnis is true. read more

In spite of that, that it in comparison to the other boutique hotels is cheaper, it is value for money in no way. Rather invest a bit more and the truly gorgeous scenery with a great hotel stay was above average. Wireless internet was available, but cost about 4 €per half hour. The transport of vaitape for 10 kilometer was with about 35 €extra charge. read more

We had a overwater bungalow. These are really the decor very nice, however also a bit dated. The color on the balcony (railing and floor) has long since pulled out. The stand for the wet clothes is rusty and my t-shirt has since then rust, the not more to remove was. The bungalow has an airco and a ceiling fan (necessary). The first bungalow was the latter very loud. We unfortunately had to during the night change, since the water heater of the toilet the room underwater has set itself. Minibar, flat screen tv, coffee maker, you could understand given of the price for granted. The cleanliness hanging from the respective cleaner.

The hotel has a restaurant in the main building and a bar at the beach. Since we probably not to peak times are traveling, exclusively, for the half board guests in the bar dining. One wanted probably not the effort made, for few guests both places to keep open. The breakfast was modest. Every day the same, limited selection. Croissants (looked like from the day before from ), Baguette and water roll. The remaining gave it in the evening as a starter with butter. The milk chocolate was several times inedible, as the milk sour was. When we opened our flockigen cups returned, with the request, the milk but please replace it, we have only a bissiges face against stretched get. Jam, nice glass of packaged (raspberry, strawberry). Usually is the fresh fruit ran out. Had extra bread themselves from, as everything else also, the ran out. Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages - everyday the same. The marmorkuchen was already days old and was during the day again plotted, since nobody the dry cakes wanted to eat. Cereal made an old, dusty impression. We didn't eat there. The cleanliness to the plastic tables (without tablecloth) and the buffet left much to be desired, especially the service of the staff, particularly in view of of the price the nights, a disgrace. During dinner we as entrance a smoked duck breast to eat, there were 5 small, small slices of and a little green around, for Euro 16,-. We found that ridiculously, the fish burger with fresh mahi-mahi fish for Euro 13,- alright and delicious.

All staff english is common. However the staff is consistent with the french speech, even after a week. The friendliness and willingness to help left nothing to the imagination. Upon arrival we were in vaitape not like other guests welcome, but rather were left alone and the other hotels inquire directions. Nor was missing the staff for the activity center. Our rucksacks we have yourself at the front desk brought. In the activity center, we have between the exclusively broken diving goggles, everything searched together. Of al i then asked, whether it still functional glasses there, they didnt care. On request with another person, i was then the front desk out. We then goggles receive. As mentioned, no service-always organise yourself.

The equipment (kayaks, diving goggles, fins) are not maintained and are in insufficient condition. The entertainment was pulped. There is no pool. The beach is in comparison to the number the room very limited. Fortunately, we had our place on our overwater bungalow.

The hotel was in the south of the island with a view of the neighboring islands, not on the mountain otemanu. Now there are in the closer environment only 3 restaurants and a small supermarket and several souvenir shops. It makes the impression, as if the reiseboom on the island long past and lots of shops have not. We rarely so difficult to achieve, a souvenirs for home to find, there was nothing really was. Around the hotel are the homes of locals, which does not disturb us. However the road very trashy, broken, rusted cars line the side of the road and a variety of stray dogs and cats accompany the way to the supermarket. While you in the hotel a sustainable behaviour (a few towels, water conservation, appropriate suntan lotion for the corals) is suspended, you wonder, what the population contributes. In spite of the street, the the hotel complex shares, the overwater bungalows quiet and facing the sea. Of night life we only in the neighboring hotel softel received. The evening shows, the earlier time in le maitai polynesia was, were pulped.

Great hotel on Bora Bora, the affordable. It has a private beautiful beach and some strandbunglows, the direct access to the sea have. We stayed in a garden room with a sea view stayed. The room was great. Large and clean, also the bathroom was very attractive. We booked half board and were thus every evening in the restaurant. The food was very good and with a lot of variation ( large menu). Once a week is a dance evening with local acts. Breakfast is big and extensive. It will be fresh crepes and lots of fruit is served. The ... hotel organized excursions and you can directly on-site rent bicycles for an island round travel to ( car unnecessary!). Is very recommendable the lagoonarium tour. We would book the hotel again, even if you at the sight of the first-class resorts have been envious of. Nevertheless the hotel is a real tip read more

We had a wonderful overwater bungalow, which on stilts in the lagoon is. The facilities belong next to a large double bed, a small living area with sleep couch for a 3. person, a table under the glass is. A bathroom with a big shower and closet. There is also the free safe. The toilet is seprate next to the bathroom. Everything is with much raffia polynesian style and very nice. Furthermore are located in the bungalow a mini bar/ fridge what if necessary against fees refilled. There is a kettle with coffee and tea. A large tv ( mainly french channels ) air conditioning and ventialtor. Over a terrace with seating you direct access to the sea with a shower. On the final day we could from the terrace from a small group eagle rays watch. Otherwise swim many colorful fish the corals on the stilts around.

We had breakfast booked and from a certain number of nights ( for us it was 4) there was a free upgrade to half board. This is to be recommended, as the food and eating out very expensive are. The breakfast we have in buffet form in the main restaurant restaurant. There was a selection of hot drinks ( coffee, tea, me and choco) and cold drinks ( milk, orange juice and another juice). Warm meals ( scrambled egg, sausage, bacon ) Baguette, rolls, Croissant and sweet parts, different marmelade, cakes, yoghurt, a small selection at cheese and sausage. The taste was reasonable only from the selection of fruit ( pineapple and melons) we were somewhat enttäuschd. It was always attentive refilled. Evenings we à la carte dinner and have a appetizer, a hauptgerich and a nachtischt choose. On the menu find especially fish and meat dishes, on polynesian, french or asiatsische art prepared. At the beginning of were the dishes optically and tasted great. At the end was a little in the kitchen amended. The dishes saw differently and was also not more so very delicious. But nevertheless delicious. Especially the panna cotta... The drinks menu includes soft as Cola, water, juice and alcoholic as wine and beer. The prices are for polynesia ok. Cola 300 xpt, house wine 550 xpt.

The staff were apart friendly and concerned. Some more than the other. There is good English spoken otherwise french and polynesian. The cleaning of the rooms was cleaned every day and was superficially beanstaltungslos. If you however the small corners just looked at, so would have here already thorough clean can be made, but it did not bother us.

There is no pool however one of the most beautiful lagoons the world on the doorstep. In a small and clean hotel beach there are loungers and schattenspendene palm trees. Chairs were to in any case free. In general few guests at the beach, only to eat we noticed, that it probably in the week well visited. There is entertainment luckily also no. You can free snorkeling equipment and kayaks. Very recommendable. Simply a kayak and korallengarten row. ( right next to the small motu from the Sofitel). Where you can wonderful snorkeling.

Le may tai is located in the south Bora boras nearby the pointe matira, one of the most beautiful beaches on Bora Bora directly at a small beach. The complex is through the inselringstraße divided. At the beach the overwater bungalows and the beach bungalows, as well as the beach restaurant. Over the street the other room, front desk, bar and main restaurant. At the beach and in the bungalows you can get on the street but only little to nothing at all with. Less than 50 minutes flight from Tahiti from, you can reach the airport Bora Bora. Since air Tahiti empty is, you should turn left to sit (if you Tahiti from flying.) then you a great view on Bora Bora in the trace. Of the airport island is by boat about minutes to the harbor brought. From there is it then again approximately minutes by car. At the port there is also the capital vaitape. There, there are some shops and atms. You go from the hotel to the left, then one comes after about 5 minutes on a small supermarket, where you coerced supply. Before you can still on a pizzeria and a restaurant though. We used this not. Nearby the hotel, there is no atm. Money can in the hotel the official exchange rate to be changed. To the above-mentioned beach pointe matira are about, 5 minutes to the right side. Excursions are offered in the hotel. We have a trip at the front desk and everything was great and worked smoothly.

Bora Bora is the endpoint all desires. Perhaps you with such an approach on a motu ( bewohnter lagoon) or a hotel on the outer reef better cared for. The hotel on the island) Mai Tai ( there because of the fine sandy beach, free - canoe or Schnorchelequipement and so on., gracious service very good cuisine and enjoyable cleanliness no complaints. Only, that the soluble coffee for breakfast with hot water" "less prepared. It's very recommendable to take an overwater bungalow, as we felt the breakfast incl. Is. ... Otherwise about 20 -30€ per person surcharge - Bora Bora is never not cheap!!! ( * note * Our 8 year old Filius while with two adults in the Overwaterbungalow but not be charged with breakfast suggested with 20€ pd to book. ) Apart from that, we have the view of the Motus, the lagoon, the reef and Frankly really enjoyed everything. Very nice, comfortable hotel. The location on the InselStraße didn't bother ( traffic). Very nice and clean rooms, the location with the best views over the offshore Motus. Supermarket in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, prices were ok. There were enough excursion possibilities, but very expensive. The Tupuna safari tour I would not recommend. It is a bit inland view, but price - for money don't seem to fit. Inselumrundung by bicycle is highly recommended. Several restaurants are within walking distance. From the Bloody Mary restaurant will pick up and drop you free to eat. It is expensive, but ... recommended, the food was very good and instead of the food menu if you directly on a cooling table before you brought to his seat! The front desk staff are very friendly and also take care also immediately. In the two bars but. The ladies in the restaurant are very dull and shows this, but it is perhaps the mentality. The cleanliness was good and the gardens and the beach maintained every day. read more
