The Rixos in sharm el sheikh, a very big hotel with approximately 700 rooms different art! We had ultra booked all inclusive, which means, that you at the usual all inclusive services the 6 à la carte restaurants had (early reservation is recommendable!). Free wi-fi you have in the main building, we had the luck in the room also wi-fi to receive! The guest structure is different: you will find families with/without children, freundschaftsgruppen and the hotel seems to be very popular with russians. Circa 95% of the guests are russians, one becomes easily 'hit' of so much 'east-block' - ... mentaliät! No noisy, popelnden russians, but with some lacks the decency (3-4 seen situations, where the mouth remained open!) And flip-flops and strandshorts you see often during dinner as abendgardarobe! read more

    We had a junior suite booked (section 7701). This was at 2. pool, where the evening entertainment until 23:00 o'clock took place (were not a nuisance or with a good view on the stage). The suite consists of large bathroom (around 12 to 16 square meter) with rain shower, tub, two sinks and bidet. It has a large window on the sleeping area there. We also had a walk-in closet (really great) with plenty of storage space and a large safe! In addition there was a living area with a free mini bar (daily refilled with soft drinks, water and beer ), electric kettle with coffee and tea, swivel flat screen tv and enough seating! The sleeping area was also large enough, only the beds warning a bit small in der breite, but otherwise comfortable! The balcony was enough by the size sufficient and we had a good view on the stage in the evening program.

    There are two main restaurant, the 'zodiac' close to the beach and the 'nefertiti', where children under 12 years no entry have. Besides that the hotel offers 6 à-la-carte restaurants. We could unfortunately only the indians visit (great food, great service, little 'cold' interior). It is therefore an immediate reservation very recommendable. Otherwise is the food really great! There are lots of different food and the decoration and presentation of the food was superb-there eat the eye really love with! Also the selection of drinks is very good. One gets even ' brand drinks' than inclusive services (not really typical for al)! Very good! And no stomach-darm risk! All the restaurants were really clean, there was nothing else to say! Only perhaps little understaffed with waiters (at least the main restaurant). The atmosphere zodiac has a little bit of 'sufficient', because it was very hectic and loud (due to children and laptops/trays) happens, because the russian guests like to eat with a multimedia entertainment!

    Service! A slightly 'difficult' issue! Basically can be said, that the staff is very friendly and tried the guest to operate! Unfortunately, it lacks foreign language skills and the hotel employees are very russian guests set. So is the 'hotel language number 1' russian! English was also spoken, not helps one with 'hands and feet'. Complaints we had due to the door to our junior suite, because the door lock was not back, if you handle down pressed, so that the door remained open for leaving of the room (the but we noticed immediately and always the castle from the inside untwisted, so that the door funktonsfähig schloss). In that respect one has nothing in the 5 days our stay! The cleaning of the rooms was always top and the staff really very friendly! Child care is also available, but i can't say more about that, since we no children with us. There is even a hospital close to the spa! Now the 'difficult' topic of service: The Rixos resort & spa a 5 star hotel (category). That means in a luxury hotel, we expect a certain standard! Right zusammenliegendes cutlery on the plate means' i am ready ',' überkreuztes cutlery ' (= fork on the left, knife right) means' i eat still, am not finished yet'! Often it happened, that the basement with ' überkreuztem cutlery' the plates wanted to take and to his plate 'reclaim' had. Once, was even my plate before the nose, because i am with a friend beside me entertained-so what may not be in a star hotel! Just as you should the guest not a white wine brought, if one red wine ordered. This came three times! One evening a swiss pair the full glasses and the cigarettes cleared, although the couple only a dessert to get wanted. When the couple returned, the table was already full of russians! Embarrassing! And should not happen! Clearly, you can the written as' complain of high level ' reputation, but after couple of days makes no fun more on its eating and drinking need to watch out for that! And we are talking of a luxury hotel - no-go! The spa is great, so also the staff!

    The leisure offer is really good in the hotel! It is an activity program offered at the main pool, a rixi kidsclub is also available, on-site disco and lots of possibilities for exercising directly at the beach. The fitness center is right next to the spa and is well equipped! The spa is really beautiful! And the employees understand something really from their crafts (for the thai massage are even two thais salemp-top!). And also otherwise is the furnishings in spa not only chic, but also really big (sauna, steam bath, hammam, huge jacuzzi, many private massage rooms, lounges). The furniture by the pool and beach are in good condition and not from cheap plastic, but quality rattan furniture. The beach is also very clean! For swimming you had to step over the footbridge into the water and on the jetty are lifeguards available, the also its job very seriously! Pay sports you can directly at the beach book (cheap).

    The hotel is also at the hotel own beach. Depending on, where one a room or a suite has, it is very close to to the beach, but good and easy to reach, if you at the main house a room has (there were also the rooms). The airport is also very close to (around 20 to 30 minutes transfer time). We came from a cruise and wanted us 5 days in the hotel relax and the transfer time from the haven was about 45 minutes and the limousine service is good (good vehicles) and not expensive (35 $altogether). At the beach you can on the promenade walking and so other hotels at the beach happen. Excursions could be right at the hotel or at the beach book. At the beach you talked to in a friendly way. The hotel itself offers a good programme of entertainment for large and small! Also an on-site disco is available, were even however not there. The hotel offers free transportation to Naama Bay, the tourist strip on sinai! However only up to early afternoon (late. 14:30). After that you can at an extra cost, but good value for money, the shuttle service. Opposite the hotel there are a few smaller souvenir shops and a supermarket to find.

It is a really big but nevertheless very straightforward hotel has 695 rooms as i think all good are, whether garden or pool views from all one has a good location either to the beach or the pools,every day it was deseamed it was a very decent hotel there was a few hidden flaws that you will find if you something to moan about to have wants but we didn't bother us what the the all-inclusive offer was great from the morning until the evening there was enough and delicious food, as well as drinks, whether soft drinks or ... alcohol itself in the disco all free! The beach was totally clean, the loungers no old klapperteile the seating at the beach bar not plastic, but rattan very high quality everything on the complex, a thanks Nicole the questions began or simply a chat kept it was guest carer in rxus!     The entire staff was very polite unfortunately harpert it with german but at the beach bar was Mohamed the knew what you think but also all other tried, the rooms were cleaned daily and children were also good rixiclub repealed, to the birthday of my man there was even a cake! We had a problim in the room, the was taken care of immediately and as i indicated stomach they were very accommodating.

    The beach is sandy beach very nice and clean the different pools with pool bar of couches and screens enough for jedenein heated pool. The public toilet also at the beach very clean showers not a problem great snorkelling reef just be careful with the flow but the lifegard fits perfectly on! The animation is not intrusive but can also very bad german, evening entertainment only russian, a shame

    The hotel is directly at the beach,it is a satisfying, but there was also security guards available there one could run well and other hotels see as we realized how well we have taken! The airport is not far sometimes you could hear the planes not bad for us rather interesting thing as so flies. Outside there is a few shops you know knows all, right down in front of the entrance there are two great supermarkets with fixed price as you can enjoy shopping, we have only one trip joined in the sittytour for 12 Euro more i would not spend (mass processing all chop chop further ) the hotel has a free shuttle if you where to want but everywhere in front of the hotel taxis

I was a wonderful experience! Everything from the begining was excellent.It was over than our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helped us about everything. The variety of foods were more than enough and were very delicious. The room's cleanliness was perfect and also nice decorated.Beds were very comfortable,we slept like babies. We couldn't find anything negative.We already booked for a few months later again and can't wait to go there! One last word : don't hesitate to go there. read more

The Rixos sharm el sheikh has a total of 695 rooms, divided in 198 superior, 290 deluxe-and 70 family rooms, and 137 junior suites. All areas of the hotel added cleanliness and tidyness from. 90% of the guests came from Russia/Ukraine, but mostly behave. The rest of the guests came from England, Germany and the Turkey. In the hotel were in the first two weeks in february all age groups available. read more

    The Rixos sharm el sheikh offers a wide selection of rooms, family rooms and. The four categories superior, deluxe and family rooms, as well as junior suites (10 with private swimming pool) are spread over several 2a 3-storey buildings. We were in a superior room (37square meter): 1 double bed plus extra bed for 3. person, minibar (soft drinks and beer are daily free), 32 inch lcd tv (ARD, ZDF, RTL and RTL II), telephone, hairdryer, bathroom/toilet, bidet, individual air conditioning (kalt/warm), tea and coffee making facilities, safety deposit box (free), tiled floor, terrace with a pool view. The rooms were daily in a very good quality cleaned. To some tip were for example small animals from towels on the bed set up.

There were 2 main restaurants, the nefertiti restaurant (from 12 years usable ) in the main building and the zodiac restaurant near the beach, a little train station atmosphere. There was also 6 à la carte restaurant (chinese, local/oriental, indian, japanese, and italian cuisine and a sea food restaurant). In these restaurants were first-class food huge selection have pleasant atmosphere. We have all of the specialty restaurants test must. Our favorite was the italian restaurant.     The hotel complex is located directly at the large sandy beach. Depending on hotelzimmerlage up to 10 minutes walk from the beach away. About 22 kilometer from Naama Bay and about 8 kilometer away from airport. The transfer time took us 30 minutes, since several other hotels were on the route. During of the hotel-stay was it possible over the guest care a free shuttle service to Naama Bay to book (for example 11:30 until 2:00 p. m. or 14:30 until 5:00 p. m.). There are good shopping, small bars and restaurants (Hard Rock Café) and numerous discotheques (Pasha disco) with great atmosphere.

There are in our travel time january at least 90% russians there, the us but in no way disturbed, as they were. We were more than satisfied, with the service, food, facilities. We fly come back next year. read more

Just returned from our first holiday to Rixos Sharm as seasoned travellers to Egypt and having spent many hours researching the hotel prior to booking we went with very high expectations from the moment we arrived our expectations started to be exceeded upon entering the massive lobby area with the largest hanging crystal candelabra I have ever seen in my life as it’s centre piece we were met with a welcome drink and cold towels by Kelly guest relations manager for Rixos. As our bags were taken to our rooms Kelly kindly spent the time to orientate us around the ... hotel this was a fantastic gesture as the hotel is so large it saved us so much time finding our way around. We were very lucky to be allocated a first floor junior suite in block 19 overlooking one of the many pools and the sea never have we stayed in such a large luxurious room in any hotel within Egypt is was no surprise when I found out during our stay the hotel has recently been included in the top 25 luxury class hotels by a popular travel website, the room had the largest bathroom I have ever seen a large walk in wardrobe,full daily refill to mini bar, large flat screen TV viewable from both the massive bed or the lounge area complete with three piece suite and a double balcony. The only down side to our holiday is that we had not booked long enough to enjoy all of the hotels restaurants of which there are many from al a cart’s to buffet dining rooms and snack bars just about everywhere you turn there is a dinning option which will cater for every tast, The hotel also offers branded drinks as part of there all inclusive concept which is unheard of in Egypt. Finally I would like to say a big Thank you to all of the Management and Staff at this Amazing hotel for making our holiday so special Especially Mr Sami and Mr Hassan, I would love to name all of the staff who provided exceptional service during our stay but to do so would take page after page of text so just three others who’s service each day was truly first class, Our pool boy Ali, Mohamed in the Executive lounge and Ahmed in the Asian restaurant these three along with along with many other went above and beyond, I hope if managment read these reiview as I am sure they do they will pass our greatfull thanks to all. No question - a great hotel, very well maintained facilities, friendly staff, good food, not too pushy animation. But, it is night in the Rixos: then awoke the so-called live center to a ears soporific, wummernden, vibrant life, against the even Ballermann not to discourage. It has surprised us, evening for evening, night for night from 20 to 24 o'clock indicated anheizenden moderator/indoor screaming in a volume to be confronted, the with the windows closed was unbearable; 14 nights. Then moved the drinking and sangesfreudigen event -guests to far after 1 o'clock by the complex. The we knew about this ... hotel not yet. Well, new owner - new strategy. Unfortunately! We are certainly no grinch-but it would be good, if the management the interests of the somewhat older clientele would be taken into account. Such an event center in the middle of the hotel is not everyone's thing. Partying could finally in the remote night clubs. Really recommendable hotel area. From the room, bathroom, food, beach, pool, enough sunbeds and so on - top notch. Very nice and helpful staff - especially at the front desk, waiter and at the pool. The only thing which disturbed me was all the evening loud music noise. Guests: 90% russians, the rest were german, austrian and swiss. Don't understand, why in some evaluations always on the russians got off is. During my stay not a single negative experience. Maybe some only begin with themselves and then with the finger at others. Thank god the russians, otherwise so some hotels. ... Conclusion: two nice and relaxing weeks in sharm el s. - gladly again ☺ read more

An all in all a very good hotel, if it weren't for the russians would be. Circa 90% of the guests come From Russia. The eating habits (with overfilled plates) and return the half full plates was Frightening. In the heated pool area an extreme volume of the russians. So we have on the Swimming and stayed in the quiet midrange on. In the italian theme restaurant has because of the problems of speisenablauf not work. In all the restaurants was in our opinion way too quickly served. A lack of the great rooms, the unbearable loud air conditioning. After ... talking with the Front desk we were told, that all rooms a gleichlaute conditioning. Conclusion We have the air conditioning not used. In the whole itinerary listed wi-fi connection was not available. In our juniorsuite existing ants wurdenerfolgreich combated. read more

3 weeks of super great holiday. We really liked in good hands felt, so we will certainly be back at the latest in june and again 3 weeks minimum \u263a \u263a. The complex is simple super well-kept and spacious. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous and attentive, the entertainment team is just great, greetings to all. The food of the finest quality, lacked nothing. The rooms super well-kept with enough comfort. It is a pity that the first prize in the new year's celebrations cannot had won, a week free vacation in Rixos Hotel, that would be really cool been ... \u263a \u263a. All the this evaluation reading, let you not to be missed this hotel as a resort area, it is worthwhile. I can only one say that is the people the complained, so where i want to see how they live, because here you can nothing to suspend have. read more

The check in was quick and without any problem. Beginning you us a wrong suite given, after a short call in the lobby we had however already the booked room. The junior-suite deluxe with private pool in top condition and absolutely clean. The interior was as you expect from a 5 star hotel. The hotel was outstanding, complaints about the lack of cleanliness i can absolutely not understand. All drinks in the minibar were included in the all-inclusive included and were refilled daily. Only the private pool was too cold, but we were now also over christmas and the sun ... has not really much strength to the water to heat. The pool was cleaned daily. The whole hotel area was constantly by infinitely many hands well maintained, which everywhere were okay has. The food was more than reasonable, the choice reasonable and the service in the 2 main restaurants attentive but not pushy. The employees made here, as otherwise everywhere also, the impression their work love to make. In a restaurant is additionally afternoons and evenings in large brick grills different meat and ocean creatures grilled. Of crowds at the buffet was nothing to feel. Alone, because in both restaurants the buffets twice were not developed. A restaurant was only with children over 12 years old. In addition there was at the pool bars and snack bar from 12:00 a. m. details to eat. At the beach and at the pools are enough umbrellas available, so that also sensitive skin types the whole day on the chairs relax. Without basic english you could get around the Rixos not far. The staff speaks only rarely somewhat german. This is because, because, as already often mentioned, 90% russian guests the hotel visit. Therefore the staff only english and russian. That mainly russians have a vacation didn't bother me too much. I can't confirm, that this at the buffet or otherwise where somewhat beside it behaved. As i have german guests already completely different things. Every evening from 8. a good programme with the children accomplished, mainly in russian language. From nine were different, mostly good, shows. I can Rixos only recommend to anyone. Five star. read more

We have the vacation very much enjoyed. It is at the hotel a very well maintained hotel. Only exception is the dining room. Food left overs were on the floor. The waiters were at certain times completely overstrained the tables to clean and reset. You got a coffee spoon for six people, because this at 10:00 o'clock early 'from' were. In the other dining room was all very clean and well-kept. This could however only adults and children from 12 years enjoy free use, which we as discriminatory found as the dining room from us not be used could ..., because our kids still too young. This should in our opinion immediately be changed. Otherwise was the staff very nice and courteous. A special mention again the cleaning crew the room. These were always really clean. read more

We were already over 10 times in Egypt for swimming, this hotel is the best we have stayed in. It could all meals to be enjoyed, without diarrhea and so further are of course many eastern europeans but, they have for our stay a good attitude had. A catastrophe was the tour operator 'feet ferientourist'. We have Frankfurt and by coincidence on the eve itself note, the flight to/from Düsseldorf the opening of the hotel is. We stayed from the travel agency did not receive any assistance, have everything itself must organise. There was a lapidary apology, in writing, no ... compensation, no offer. Never again with feet they are not serious, no trusted providers. read more

It was a very great hotel with 90% russians, the extremely were pleasant. We couldn't understand, why so negative review from some guests returns. Only extremely annoying point was the FTI care on site. So the tour operator not the agreed date and left no message. Since we a rückreisebestätigung required we have two days to try someone suburb to reach. In the FTI office in Sharm el Sheik nobody raised. Also the transfer time to the airport we were only one day before departure begegeben. Because of the 'not care' on the ground, (not verbally or info on the ... board ) we could no excursions book. The Rixos we can highly recommend, however not over FTI, respectively big extra. read more

Our vacation we spend in a junior suite with a private pool. The suites are great furnishing, size and particularly the great bathroom. From the terrace you had a direct, unobstructed view of the sea. The own pool we have however rarely used, since this unheated is. Furthermore missing in all (except our) the einstiegsleiter, which use for older people very difficult. A little disadvantage is the two-time abendisco directly at the beach before the suites, which between 12:00 p. m. and 02:00 a. m. ended. The speaker sounds within the complex to the evening shows it is ... rather loud. Was very relaxing, we found the restaurant below the front desk, which mainly adults can be used. The guest structure consisted of 85% east europeans, 10% german and 5% other nationalities. For this reason speaks the staff only russian and english! In our vacation period area we could no negative experiences with the much criticized russian on holiday make. So it is but.-) The hotel complex was always clean and maintained, is very spacious and has a massive pool area. Snorkeling is at the nearby reef possible (bathing shoe an advantage), limited however on a steep sloping reef. Not to be underestimated is here however on some days the current, therefore on the instruction of the lifeguards on site 8.! The feet you could well on the right passing seafront represented, which also shone the neighbouring hotel facilities leads. Optically from this look hardly another hotel with the Rixos compete. Our summary: On excursions we because of the political location declined, were but also only very limited available. In general we can say, that we neither in Hurghada still this time in sharm el sheikh fails the protests on the tourist areas have noticed. English skills essential, chairs were always sufficiently available, the food was ok, however nothing more. To point out are the delicious mixed drinks in the all inclusive and the hotel use no plastic! The theme restaurants we didn't use. The suites with private pool are really brilliant and we would definitely book again! Available only a tour operator. read more
