This is a wonderful hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. The reception greets you with a cold towel and a refreshing drink and this great hospitality carries on throughout your whole holiday. The food in the main buffet restaurant and beach bar is very varied and well presented and the staff can not do enough for you.The food was so good in the buffet restaurant that we did not try the a la carte restaurants but we did hear very good reports. The animation team at this hotel is by far the best we have come across in Egypt. ... Their friendly approach makes you want to join them in the activities and the evening shows were always very good. Special mention must go to Mohamed and Islam in the lobby bar, Amr in the buffet restaurant and Bido, Jerry, Max, Sara, Mr Bean and Essam from animation. We would highly recommend this hotel for a fun and relaxing holiday. Thank you so much to you all the staff. read more

Very impressed with this hotel. 24 hr all invlusive was fantastic. Would do again. Very good value for money. The waiters in the Lobby Bar and Rainbow restaurant were very attentive and friendly. Special mention to Mohammed (Lobby bar) and Amz (Rainbow restaurant). Also was a waiter in the restaurant who had a gorgeous smile and told chicken jokes| Sorry didn't get his name. Had a fantastic week and would definately recommend this beautiful hotel. read more

This was the first hot holiday I'd been on for 5 years so anywhere with the sun shining I would have been appreciative. However, this hotel was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly, the hygeine was excellent and the scenery was stunning. The animation team were particularly very entertaining, thanks to Cuba, Mado and Jerry. I would definitely reccomend this holiday to anyone as I went with my parents and found there was something to do for everyone of all ages. The distance to the airport was very short which made it a lot less hassle. Thank you Crystal Bay Hurghada ... for the best week of my life. read more

The hotel was amazing. Everything was excellent. I have been to lots of hotels before and this is the best of them all. Starting with the reception and the check in till our check out. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was good, clean and contained all the amenities but could've been bigger( The pools are so good and have various depths, and there are about tow pools or more for kids. The kid's club and the kid's area are wonderful. Tina in the kid's club is great with the kids and very lovely and ... helpful, my kids loved her and didn't want to leave. The food is very good, lots of stuff to choose from. All in all it was a wonderful vacation, and if I got the opportunity again I would definitely go without another thought. read more

The workforce at the resort were courteous and friendly. They really did everything they could to make your stay as good as possible and succeeded. The waiting staff, beach staff, room cleaner all excelled. Also the Guest Services were attentive to ensure you were enjoying your stay without being intrusive. There was a good variety of food available at the hotel and at its 2 sister hotels. I had a birthday during my stay and the staff at Crystal Bay made it special. The grounds were immaculately maintained and the beach faced a sheltered cove as the coast was quite ... windy with para sailing, windsurfing etc. The sea was crystal clear. read more

This was our fifth visit to Egypt, and the second to the Hurgada Area, and we found The Crystal bay Resort to be the best resort we have stayed at since we started coming to the Red Sea rtesorts. The hotel was kept immaculatey clean, the pools and the sunbeds always easy to access, and our room was spotless. When we first arrived we were unhappy with the first room allocated to us, and when we requested a change the response was immediate and positive and we were offered a choice of alternatives to move to right away. Susan in ... customer relations was really helpful, and always managed to find us a table in one of the many restaurants when the hotels computerised booking system said they were full. The choice and quality of the food in all of the hotels restaurants was excellent, and the hotels main buffet restaurant offered a quality of service above anything else we have found in our previous visits to Egypt. The levels of service and staff friendlyness is also better than other resorts and a particular mention for Mahmoud Yehia, who looked after us really well, not only in the Indian Restaurant but also when he was on duty in the breakfast buffet, or the beach restaurant at lunch times. The standard of the whole resort in general as outstanding. We would definitely think of returning to The Crystal bay Resort again!! read more

We travelled with Direct Holidays and on an all inclusive basis. We had one dble and a twin and both deluxe. The Hotel is well looked after and everywhere was kept clean by the housekeeping, gardening and pool attendants. The lobby and terrace areas were exceptional and provided a comfortable and very pleasant area to sit with a cocktail during the evening. We travelled with two teenage sons and they thoroughly enjoyed it. read more

    The rooms were well serviced and very spacious with air conditioning. Our rooms overlooked the pool area and there was a balcony with table and chairs available. Our rooms were well serviced every day and the beds were extremely comfortable.

    We made good use of the six a la carte resturants, visiting four (Indian, Oriental, Mexican and Mediterranean. All had a good selection of food which was well prepared and presented. We also went to the Seafood restaurant which was located overlooking the sea and we spent a very enjoyable evening having our meal overlooking the bay.

    The service from all the staff was excellent and could not be faulted. Everyone was very friendly, had a smile on their faces and always spoke. Of particular mention was Mohammed (Lobby Bar and Terrace), Mohammed (Breakfast, Posiedon Bar and Indian Resturant), Omar/Crocodile (Breakfast), Sherif (Omlette Chef), Ala (Cabannas) and Sherif and Ali (Pool Bar). The room was kept very clean and the gardens immaculate.

    Cuba, Jerry, Budy and Mado in the Animation Team all worked very hard. We took part in the Zumba, stretch classes, belly dancing and wateraerobics. It was great. The Animation team did not hassle you if you just wanted to relax. The boys played beach volleyball and waterpolo during the day and also enjoyed playing pool in the Sports Bar with Jerry from the Animation team during the evenings. The Hotel has a lovely pool which was heated so lovely to swim in. There was plenty of room around the swimming pool and there was always a sunbed available. The beach towels available by the pool were obviously made from Egyptian cotton!

    The hotel has its own private beach but you can also access the neighbouring Sunrise hotels and their facilities. About a 25 minute coach journey from the airport. There are some small shops in the hotel and others across the road which you cross at your peril! We went on a one day snorkelling trip to Giftun Island which was excellent, seeing the dolphins was a highlight, but other excursions further afield to the pyramids or Luxor were available.

My 4th stay in the past 15 months & this time it was under a different management. It was my brothers 1st stay with us. His exact words were that we've been spending our money in all the wrong places for the past 25 years even though we've stayed at some of the best hotels all around the world. 2 retired couples who had just been at a five star hotel in Hawaii said that this stay was much more enjoyable. All inclusive with hot & cold drinks everywhere we went on the grounds. The staff would bring us our ... drinks to our seats with the upmost chearfulness. Some of them changed from visit to visit but with the same kindness & smiles. Lunch on the beach was the best part with chearful people all around us from all over the world.     If there were more sun signs we would give them. Every one was friendly not one would I say would warrent a negative review. In particular Susan in the guest centre with he pleasant sense of humour and knowledge was brillient. The animation team worked hard, watch out for Mado a laugh a minute,room sevice and cleaning spot on.

Sorry to say we are not particularly shopper and never left the hotel. With all the pools, beaches,bars,and restuarants, friendly staff we didnt feel the need to.

When we arrived at the hotel we were a little unsure as from the outside this is very un-assuming, however once inside and into the fantastic ornate lobby the welcome with cold towels was brilliant.     As above, large and clean with all of the features you would expect. Water, tea and coffee replaced every day. We stayed in room 104 from the 22nd of March until the 4th of April, i didn't get the name of our cleaner but he did a fantastic job and some stunning towel art.

    Brilliant, the rainbow buffet restaurant was great a real choice of all dishes and a different theme every day. We had some fantastic food here. The service in the A la Carte restaurants was not as good as the rainbow but the food was good. Again the theme of clean continues, this place is spotless!!!

    Outstanding, the staff were just superb. So many to mention really but im going to give it a go: Ahmed, Maher and Mohamed in the restaurant were just superb. nothing was to much trouble and they remembered drink orders and brought more without having to ask i really must praise the team for this such great service. Our room was very large and very clean, every day this wagain made spotless by the staff who also made some superb towel art on the bed :) English was spoken by every member of staff who were also fluent in Russian. When we first arrived we had a problem with our shower, one call to reception and 5 mins later it was fixed!

    Simply brilliant, what a fantastic entertainment team: Jerry (Omar) Mado, Cuba, Budy and Tina did a great job. Lito and Emily had to leave due to the death of lito's father for the short time they were there they really involved everyone. These guys work so hard and do a great job, early starts and very late nights after they have made sure all are ok in the disco and always with a smile on their faces. The pool was superb, and there was always space by it on the loungers. The pool bar was run by the best cocktail waiter i have seen for a long time Sherif and what a great job he does, Ali who is also excellent is learning his trade and will do very well if he follows Sherifs example.

    When we arrived at the hotel we were a little unsure as from the outside this is very un-assuming, however once inside and into the fantastic ornate lobby the welcome with cold towels was brilliant.     Located right on a bay it could not be any better, you have to remember this is an oasis in a huge desert so do not expect spectacular scenery at the resort. However the gardens were kept immaculate and constantly cleaned and trimmed, they all seem to work so hard and take a real pride in all they do. The transfer to the hotel is only 15/20 mins so just what you need after a long flight. Just across the road from the hotel is the Senzo Mall, here you will find lots of branded shops and a supermarket. If you don't like bartering on price this is ideal as they are set prices.

We have just spent 1 week at the crystal bay and it was lovely. Flying with Thomas Cook was the only downside to the holiday. This was due to the size of the planes and the rudeness of some of the air stewards. Apart from this, upon arrival to the hotel you are greeted with cold towels and a refreshing drink. Check in was quick and painless and we were soon shown to our room. We chose a deluxe room which really was a good choice. It was spacious, nice furniture and had a comfortable bed. All in all the ... hotel is lovely. It is spotlessly clean and I would certainly return in the future. read more

    Breakfast was Ok. The choice could have been slightly better but the seating was nice and you had an option to sit outside which is always nice. We would recommend Hamdy as a waiter. He was friendly, always on hand and nothing was too much trouble. It certainly made attending breakfast in the morning a pleasure. Lunch is lovely at the beach bar. There is a selection of snacks, buffet food and drinks. I would recommend Sayed here as he was very helpful. Dinner was nice. There was the choice of the main restaurant, the Indian and the Mediterranean. You could also go to the hotel next door to eat but I wouldn't recommend this as the food did not look as nice and the lay out of our hotel was nicer. A tip for the al a carte restaurants is to book the day before you wish to attend as the system only books 24 hours in advance. As with the beach bar, Sayed works at the Indian in the evening and is once again extremely helpful and friendly. At the Mediterranean you will find Hamdy (from breakfast) who will make sure you have a relaxing and care free evening meal.

    The pool was spacious and there was more than enough seating. We found a spot that we liked and Emad the pool attendant was always there to help us with this. He would make sure that the beds were free, would ensure a wind breaker was provided and also went the extra mile by providing a special cushion for a bad back as the sun beds could be slightly uncomfortable.

the staff made our holiday to a great succes. Espacially Susan and Alaa from the vip beach were great. Very clean hotel, good food and very good service. My wife and I booked a suite and had access to the private beach and Cabana. The food was really nice and if you had special requests to the coockhe made sure it was arranged.     Excellent fresh food! It doesnt matter that much if you eat in the main restaurant or at the beachbar, one of the a la carte restaurant. All the food is prepared fresh and accordingly to the live cooking concept. If you have special wishes, just ask one of the cooks and they will try to make it for you!

Gladly our evaluation, but we are the opinion, that the reception is rather boring 400 times over the number of rooms and the size of the hotel to read. We would rather our impression nevertheless. Play. What is also important, we were in fact! Because some of the reviews, which we to this hotel read, we must ask ourselves today is, why the people such a nonsense and cannot possibly in the sunrise grand select have been! Assessments should only may be supplied, even if the evidence of your stay can be provided! You can get on and home! And ... so we were also welcome. The transfer from the airport to the hotel is ok. At the hotel arrived, you will very friendly with the words' welcome home ' and to a seat in the lobby run. The formalities by the staff the front desk and by the guest care very accommodating done, while one with a drink and a refreshing cloth, the environment of the inviting lobby view. After the necessary things are done, you will to the room accompanied and get during the path the area was explained. A super well-kept hotel area, in the cleanliness and courtesy important. A really beautiful seashore, the rest and relaxation just perfect is. The food is great and the staff (ja nobility we are looking forward to the next vacation) are wonderful! Yes, Nicole it took some, but we know also, the the reviews read-and so it was for it exciting. Lastly, a note on the hotel management! You can really proud on its house and especially on her team are! No matter what their staff, they are all unique-and they give the guest A beautiful home on time Thank you very much! read more
