Have the hotel here at Holidaycheck booked and knew from the reviews about which to be. Were 12 days and only booked with breakfast included ( a lucky!) Size of the hotel you can see the photos see. Guest structure: many dutch and spanish, a few british, a few German audience. Wasn't a problem however to us. Were nearly only in hotels with very mixed guest nationalities. read hotel review

    Our room on the 6th floor with a view of the sea was in terms of size okay. The furniture was not the newest, but ok and not damaged. Big balcony with plastikbestuhlung. Small tv with three German programs ( ZDF, RTL and Sat.1). You get a plastic card for into the room and for the electricity. The mini refrigerator is luckily even without the card and you can brought drinks for the whole day to keep cool. A cheek is the safe in the room! 17 €for 12 days plus 20€ deposit. But you get a key cylinder with key in the tresorloch resembling and then worn can. A joke! One of us brought additional verschließmöglichkeit made a better impression. Air conditioning is adjustable and 24 hours. Is programmable and after several try worked. A information booklet, which actually in every hotel to find, was missing completely. Only a sheet with telephone numbers and prices for the service, and the laundry was to find. The bathroom was quite large. With bath/shower. The furnishings not the newest, but it worked everything.     As mentioned, we had only breakfast. Right on the first morning many us bad tempered guests and in the only dining room on. And then we saw the breakfast! I describe it briefly: Two types of tiny rolls Croissants White bread for toast A sort of cheese Two types of sausage Muesli Jams in these plastikportionsdingern On one day scrambled egg ( which after scrambled egg tasted) and boiled eggs At the other day fried egg with sausage and some sauce or whatever it was. The day' scrambled egg' and so on. The coffee from the automat is an experience! However no beautiful. Cappuccino from the automat is sunday After two, three days you get used to it. Whoever kaffeesatzlesen is, has its joy. Also the juice we tried. Knew not at all it juice returns, not after juice tastes. But there were also scrambled egg, which after scrambled egg tasted. The matter be locked; we had after four days no more desire on breakfast. Furthermore there was in the morning, so from 9:00 A. M. more often time lines, which I the quality now so not at all understand can. The staff constantly walked through the hall and cleared the tables from. A ' good morning respectively bom Dia ' was nobody to hear.

    To the staff we can hardly say, as we which saw, but all staff made a rather absent impression. A smile of somebody, the in this hotel busy, we could the whole 12 days not discover. serviceroboter needs far future a similar impression make. As far as I with the check in and out can say, speaks the staff English. Complaints or additional service we didn't use. A larger problem was the cleaning of the rooms. Usually in the late afternoon so from 16, 17 hours. The time was for us however not so the problem. The state of the room however already! Quickly swept and brief coerced mopped, still quickly garbage bin emptied and that was all. On two twelve days even the floor in the room mopped! You believe it or not. However was nothing to side and under the bed it looked... Better not so exactly look at. A small small pile sand on the balcony the whole 12 days there! I had until then in a supposedly four star hotel also not yet seen. At least: daily change of towels! NA but it was a pleasure and the bed was made. The whole hotel it is missing simply at charm. And that has nothing to do with the size to do. In the entry into the lobby one sees lots of small partially lit nooks and corners. But in none plant or any other decoration. I believe a woman in the management would be a profit for the hotel. The hotel bar we only from the outside and that was already enough! A cafeteria makes a better impression on me. The bar of course without any decoration and was also hardly or not at all visited.

    Small area on the first floor with a view of the street. Small pool, little spaces for sunbeds. We didn't visit. Animation and there are many kids' club, we were however also not visited. The beach and the sea compensated for a lot and was the most important. You can walk for miles, if you want. Also is the beach wide and if one continues to go somewhat, is hardly still someone nearby. More to the place is it however very busy. Chairs and sunscreens are from the hotel not provided. At the beach you can rent for 10€ per day, if you want. Before the hotels and at the near the location beach is cleaned daily. There is a row of beach bars and pub where you very delicious and mostly normal prices food.

    The large (and only) advantage about this hotel is the almost directly at the beach. You go only across the street and then one is practically already in the beach and sea. Monte Gordo is a not too big place with many restaurants, snack bars and some of pub and bars. Mainly on the boulevard and on the side streets located. Smaller shops and boutiques are also sufficiently available. The journey time to the airport respectively to Faro is on the road about 1 hour. On the pay highway it is somewhat faster, but evenly also. The distance to the spanish border is about 15 minutes

The hotel has all properties of a four star hotel. Hotel well-kept and hotel itself very clean. The junior - suite 405 no complaints with cleanliness and with wonderful view of the sea. Booked half board plus that means with drinks is good. Something for everyone in selection fish meat vegetables fruit in all types salads and also cakes in every way. Guests 80% Netherlands, swiss, porto, spanish and a hand German. Couple from Hamburg 54 to 54 years. Travel time 16,09 until 29,09. 2012 The average age middle September was 20% 30 to 50 years and 80% ... 60 plus. read hotel review

    Size of the junior suite ok, furniture not complaints. Tv without fee and channels in German satellite. 1, RTL, ZDF, Eurosport. Balcony very good and clean. Air conditioning not needed 25 degrees. Mini bar available but empty therefore seats for our sodas and the delicious sagers beer. Safe rent for 13 days 19 Euro ok. Telephone only for rouse brewed with booked excursions and departure. Breakfast for excursions register from o'clock possible.

    To the beach not far as view from the hotel room. Beach very clean and loungers for a fee in good condition and with security. From Faro airport with mini bus to the hotel about 50 minutes on the n125 is an experience the road not required as well as the condition and this is a eu country simply a disgrace the tourist something endure must. Purchase in small supermarkets possible bars open price ok. Excursions to ayamonte Spain bicycle and ferry very nice. Otherwise booked travel to information folder ok. For us a very nice beach vacation.

The Lagedes hotels is very good and proximity to the beach. Quality of the food corresponds definitely not 4 stars. Breakfast either boiled egg or fried egg or scrambled egg. Evenings a sort of meat or a sort of fish. The service in the restaurant was made partly a very unmotivated impression. Meal times evenings from 19-21:30 o'clock. If you until 19:30 o'clock not in the restaurant was, you had to before the restaurant queue to get a table. Here waited than around 40 to 50 persons. Why one makes no two meal times? The corridor was in ... 11 days once vacuumed. Monte Gordo is a beautiful site with nice cafes and good for strolling. We can't recommend the hotel. read hotel review

Decor in the entire hotel very dated. Dinner was good, but little choice. Breakfast went Sunday Had to line up to get a table (partly 30 minutes!). No 4 star! read hotel review

For the short-term the hotel was quite good. It was a very spontaneous trip and we did not know what we were getting into, but you could relax and great sports channels by local vendors as Springfield travel. read hotel review

Very good Junior suite 22qm, with a view Nr.604 smells. Spain. At check out. 2Std we could use the room for longer, without cost. Good: dinner drinks included. No dress code. Unfortunately there was guests barefoot throughout the hotel were. Review: outdoor pool sadly seemed like a concrete park, lack pflanzenkübel. read hotel review

A huge complex, see catalog. Definitely in need of a face lift! The cleanliness-don't closely. We were on half board. There were older Dutch and British, a few from Germany. read hotel review

    Finally 1 star for the large room. Despite fresh paint, in need of remodeling. Very beautiful ocean view. As always, the cleanliness not so closely.

    In the restaurant and in the bar we saw anyone. The food was not worth four stars. But the Restverwertung of food, was well laid out. You found the leftovers in many salads. In the morning, there was only 2 local sausage and 1 sort of cheese. 2 Different soft bread rolls, croissants, basic toast. Such as the fact that the food, some it tasted and many tourists in this hotel were very unhappy with the food. The food was rather typical for the country. The friendliness of the staff, the not know.

    At the front desk was really a (1 ) nice and very helpful man, he could speak German. In the Algarve was a lot of English spoken. We do not speak any English, but well managed. The word friendliness is in the hotel!!! The room cleaning uh, you should not so closely.

    The beach was across the street ride away. One could do shopping in the neighborhood. We brought our bikes and had everything done with the wheels. The roads are for the road bikes on the Algarve East not so great. 4 km from the Spanish border. The ferry costs 1.50 euro per person to go. To rent a car but that is not a problem. Excursions were offered everywhere. kilometer-long, white, sandy beach.

Large, well-kept hotel area, but no larger gardens. However, a nice, quiet nature reserve and an expansive pine forest. Optimal Number of rooms and all rooms were in good condition. Daily cleaning and daily changing of towels, everything was very clean. On the balcony was a bit older furniture but also very clean. International guest structure (many German too).     Beautiful, well-kept restaurant with enough space and an extensive buffet. Buffet dinner consistently varied and appetizing. Breakfast buffet also appetizing, and a very large selection of hot and cold dishes! dessert offer very extensive and tasty. High quality, as well as the quantity of the dishes. Drinks to and almost "all you can drink".: ). Different drinks had to choose from, such as. Coke, Fanta, iced tea and beer. A wonderful international cuisine of a high quality.

    Very friendly staff at the reception as in the restaurant and bar area. German, English and French from almost every worker were spoken. Room cleaning nice, fast and clean. Children care possible. Good and detailed information to surrounding doctors, pharmacies and tourist attractions. After our hair dryer-cover fallen off was and we reported at the reception was our requests quickly and carefully handled.

    Minimal (about 50 meters) to the beautiful very wide, white sandy beach. toward Spain this about 6km long, uninhabited and ideal for long walks. The algenfreie water and a slightly sloping sandy beach without annoying shells and stones into the sea. Local cafes along the beach available. Nice selection of cold drinks and coffee or tea and snacks. No large distance to the local supermarkets, easy to get to, and a good quality. souvenir shops and restaurants are also in sufficient number in was located on (also easily reachable by foot). Highly recommended: restaurant O' Bruno. From the hotel to the city center, the third street turn right and then turn right. Nice, small, local restaurant with national dishes. Excursions were offered in the hotel offered. The way to Spain is not far and the ferry costs per person 1,50 €.

This modern hotel has overall good, especially but also the large color and well appointed junior suites with a direct view of the ocean. We had the impression that a renovation not so long ago could be. The rooms were clean and ok. The towels were not really needed, which was changed every day. The corridors could have been cleaner. Breakfast was very monotonous, as well as the dinner and was not a 4 star hotel. Christmas playing in the hotel obviously no role. The bar was not lack Kommunikationsort crowd. In addition, you only a few German communicate staff ... at the front desk. The hotel was mainly in "Dutch hand". This way the whole place.     The short distances to the town and the good beach location (only separated by a road) were pleasant. Such a nice extremely long beach we had rarely seen. The transfer from Faro airport (55 km) took place on the direct way by taxi. As well as the pick-up. In the immediate neighborhood we could rent bikes (3 days = 5 , - € per bike hire) and through the beautiful nature park in our 4 km away Vila Real hiking and from there by ferry to Ayamonte (Spain).

In November is also the dog is buried here. Only, highly recommended restaurant in a lovely ambience, "Vicius recommended by Reception which". host, food right paraphernalia, cook and everything was lovely. Though at a slightly higher price level, but it is worth it. read hotel review
