Hotel Portillo Chalet & Lodge^{(4 stars)}

Nice, clean spacious what else could you want expect. In short our room was like on the homepage described.

Very good cuisine we had always three main courses to choose one of them was always vegetarian.

Very accommodating it is always asked, whether something to improve is.

As described above, the swimming pool very beautifully designed really to be comfortable. The sauna area is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the only thing which bothered us a bit is, the lots of guests swimsuit the saunas visited and us as we a few were the naked use it. Unfortunately we came ourselves a little observed before, but rather at the guests gelegenhat and not at all about the hotel. Quite on the contrary the hotel management told me they want the all the guests feel at home and thus its guests no rules do not want to.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and correct staff never pushy but always available. Wonderful indoor pool which really to relax invites. The only thing which I disturbing were the two bad reviews here is possible. Gladly can also directly under Peter. Heigl Ät mlp. Deluxe double room at Privat chalet, (this is a bit behind the hotel, is however connected) was large, bright, beautiful, clean, with a desk, TV, telephone, minibar, with two balconies, bathroom and separated toilet. view street, but nevertheless quiet. With parking in the garage. way to the dining area and the hotel either by garage after outside and entrance of the hotel recovered or within of the hotel the pool area at table tennis room and sauna past in the lobby. Due to the location very quiet, little other guests nearby.

the breakfast (7.30-10:00) offered wide choice, with bread for example light and dark bread, rolls, sweet rolls, Croissants. sausage, cheese and the fruit for the muesli were every day somewhat different. eggs to cook in a large kettle with individual Einhängesieben gallicisms egg timers, the one with the sit down can-I thought that was very good, since my egg always like that was, as I prefer have. Room service was very good and unobtrusive, discreet. service in the dining area pleasant, friendly and attentive. extra wishes for the rooms were immediately fulfilled.

great swimming pool, in a Mediterranean style with a view and very nice sauna (1 times 90 °, once lower Temperature, steam bath and whirlpool). bathroom and sauna beach chairs were not directly next to each other, are but a way around table tennis, kickers and fitness area past connected. Hotel is located on the main street of Selva di Val GARDENA, the so-called 'ski trail' leads here past, from the winter sports region Nives You can ski here, easy steep. to the winter sports region arrives until noon with the hotel's own shuttle service driving to 3 possible ski Lifts, perfect entrance to the sellaronda in each direction. We had 2 very large, quiet double rooms with a connecting door. Every room was very bright, of high quality in Alpine style and feature parquet floors.

we enjoyed an upgrade in a comfort-double rooms, which very large in a very comfortable style with large closet and many other file and traffic possibilities was decorated. The room had everything, what one for a relaxing vacation needed and all in a really clean top condition, not everything brand new, but in immaculate condition. The beds had good mattresses, not beulig worn and lovely white and hygienic bed sheets. The only thing, what the comfort still raised would have, would be a shower separation on the bath tub, nevertheless you could showers, without the bathroom underwater to sit. Our room had a balcony to the east, so we could in the morning, the sunrise beobachten-another highlight of the vacation.

as already described a comfortable bar and an elegant restaurant the breakfast buffet leave nothing to be desired, by fresh fruit over yoghurt, various marmelade, sausageand cheeses, scrambled egg, cakes - everything your heart desires and especially a wonderful, delicious coffee. And yes: eggs to cook-maybe a small sporty Challenge for the start into the day, but now yes in many hotels usual. It was thought of everything-egg timer, water for quenching. The location of the 'Portillo' is great, is optimized by the excellent shuttle bus to the ski lifts and back. the town center is in a few minutes easily reachable on foot, thus also for one small after-dinner walk to the dinner suitable. The hotel chalet Portillio is located in a quiet area on the edge of Selva di Val GARDENA/wolkenstein and trtzdem very centrally located. Comfortable equipped spacious rooms complete the comfort from. everything is very well maintained. A rich breakfast in buffet form inclusive chocalate, fresh fruit, water and juices. the dinner is offered with 2 menus to choose from, additional salad buffet, ice, desserts buffet, fruit-special requests are also made possible. everything was nice for the eye prepared and it tastes everything was great. the guests trentino national are represented, which is the age everything available from young to old and it harmonises perfect.

Located at the entrance of the town and yet very central, the footpath is immediately in front of the house. The ski bus stops right outside the door and it is also a shuttle bus service offered. The hotel is by ski directly to reach. in the hotel also theme evenings with corresponding buffet offered, musical entertainment is also available. It wasn't missing anything-apart from that we would not always come back.

A home away from home, it was always good to return to it at the end of the day.

Better than any we've had at the numerous ski resorts we've visited around the world.

Executed with grace at all times.

A wonderful spa area and a beautiful pool provided something for everyone.

Our time as a family at Chalet Portillo was unforgettable. As Canadians and Vancouverites, we are already accustomed to a vast playground, and it is hard to beat. However, the people at Chalet Portillo perfectly combined their winter wonderland with old world hospitality to make it something altogether different and distinct. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of North American urgency.

With miles and miles of trails to walk and ski, it was spectacular!!
