This city hotel in Dresden Neustadt is ideal starting point for the visit to the scene and gründerzeitviertels. To the center from Dresden with all the cultural sights one arrives in a few minutes with the tram. The stop is only a few meters away from the hotel. A visit to the vaulted cellar in the hotel is worthwhile for one or another feierabendgetränk. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and varied. The staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel it promises more than it can provide. Staff in the restaurant is completely overburdened. Who 90 minutes on a salad can wait, should there again. In the shower is mold. Warm water works not always. So nothing for wimps! Have fun! read more

As on the website, of the hotel with renovated rooms advertised we have also reached agreement on a just this looking forward to it respectively expect in a to be accommodated. Unfortunately wrong. Old furniture without doors, not working lamps and a bathroom where you only reluctant to showers. The worst however is, that you in the morning none water to the showers or for the normal wash on the washbasin had. Not even cold water came from the installations and we were on the time of day and the frequent use the hotel comforted. We should simply later showers. ... Beautiful hotel for a city trip. Is located in Dresden Neustadt but with very good traffic connection. We were with a large bus group since. All were good and served in a friendly manner. There was no waiting times at check in or for the food. Staff is very nice and helpful. My forgotten handyladekabel I was immediately forwarded. read more

Good amenities with relative large area toilet/ shower, passables double bed with good mattresses, very good, friendly waiters, everything was clean. Very good value for money! Breakfast/ restaurant can not assess them, since we didn't use it! read more

The hotel has no own parking, you have to in the surrounding area guest parking. The hotel is located in the Neustadt, or this on, there, there are lots of tasty restaurants and fun bars. Directly in front of the hotel a S-Bahn past, with the train quickly in the new and the old town of Dresden is. A day ticket is worthwhile, or familienticket. Rooms are comfortably furnished, clean and tidy. Bathroom was bright, clean and renovated relatively recently %blank%. For a city break the hotel is well as place to spend the night. It lies in the Neustadt and you the historic part on foot about minutes. Parking spaces in lateral roads and the main street are available. The train was also in a few minutes on foot reached. Bars, restaurants and MC are in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are pretty huge and with all necessary equipped, clean they are. A safe there is at the front desk, we didn't use. The staircase could be remodeling and cleaned, the carpet was partly nevertheless somewhat habituation needy. The furniture ... has already gotten a bit old, but sufficient. The breakfast buffet is well arranged and one could find something to get full. The breakfast room is a bit small and if lots of people suddenly want to have breakfast, it can happen, that you don't have a place to get. The diversity of food, also very long, as well as the service for breakfast ( not enough staff). Small tip, breakfast in the hotel directly, is cheaper than for example with HRS. The staff in general seemed to me very stressed and hurried. They have tried to be friendly. With a repeated visit in Dresden, the hotel I would again, despite small faults. Tip: The hotel's restaurant you should in any case times have visited, it is really very nice:-) The Freuenkirche is a must:-) A steamship ride after pillnitz is also very clean, stay Pillnitz you should already so 2 hours plan around in peace to look at. read more

Hotel room and bathroom were reasonable. Breakfast okay. We have however the mistake made, the very 'rustic' restaurant to visit. We did but only 1 evening to test 'want'. The choice of meals was very limited. Although altogether only 5 guests itself anyway, could only after 10 minutes be communicated, that the desired selyanka no more' available' would be. The food served were then Miss and only partially enjoyable. read more

nice hotel in the heart of the Neustadt district of Dresden, with very good traffic connections to the old town. The tram stop is about 50 meters away. However you can also go on foot (about 25-30 minutes). Our room was functional equipped. In the bathroom could only one person, but it was clean and everything was available. The choice for breakfast we found very good (breakfast buffet 8,50 euros), only the eggs were a little hard for my taste. For dinner in the cellar there was a good selection of tasty food at normal prices. The staff were ... also very friendly. For a short stay the hotel is definitely suitable, for longer than two nights but not recommended, because the hotel not in the most beautiful corner of Dresden Neustadt is. Because the hotel well served by the streetcar is connected, you can easily explore Dresden without a car. The comfort-rooms are very clean and spacious. The gray paint was rather took some getting used to. Our bathroom was very cramped, but clean and had all the necessary equipped. The breakfast room is modern in style bistro equipped, the selection of the buffet is okay. On new year's Eve we wanted ... to take a cozy dinner in the vaulted basement of the hotel to us and then the Eve in the old town. Unfortunately, this evening in the restaurant absolutely disappointing. The food was almost an hour to get them and was only served by demands. The quality of the food left much to be desired, and the settlement was the chaos. We had the impression, that the very young staff totally overwhelmed was. Despite the bad start in the new year's Eve, we still have a wonderful Celebration in the old town of Dresden spent. read more

Beautifully equipped room, staff very friendly. Hotel is well reachable and the nearby city center. Difficult was the parking Dar, since it only public parking spaces are and hence be locals used. In the evening from 20 o'clock drives you already 20-30 minutes around the block again looking for a parking lot. The roads in the area are not good. Cobblestones and everything you had to fear for his shock absorber. read more

Since we only spent a weekend in Dresden, we needed a room for the night. The Grand City Hotel. It was quite complicated the room in the fifth floor to find, since we took the elevator up to the fourth floor and had to go through several doors to a stairwell, on which we walk the last floor have achieved. The first impression of the room was fairly good, but you see obvious hair from the previous person in the bathroom and vanity areas were very dusty. A mini bar was missing, the rest of the equipment was very good ..., the bathrooms were beautiful, large and orderly. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast though. The room, where the buffet was small and a group Spanish occupied all places, so we had to wait for a table. A view of the almost empty buffet (we were nine o'clock and breakfast is served from seven to eleven hours give.), which also looked impressive, completely spoiled our appetite, so we didn't include breakfast, which is 12.50 €per person, have to leave the hotel.
