This hotel has good 4 star. The rooms are big, modern, clean and had additionally a balcony from to with a fantastic view on the sea can. The bathroom is immaculate and with a hair dryer equipped. The hotel's location is excellent. It lies in downtown San Diego nearby little Italy. For shopping it is just a hike from 10 minutes to the shopping center ' horton Plaza'. In the nearby located little Italy you can excellent food.
The breakfast buffet in the hotel is sufficient. The dishes were all well prepared. Only lack is the coffee. Typical american. But ... that is in almost every hotel the case. read more

Quite largely and somewhat atypical, as a BW in the town respectively close to the beach. My impression was here, that the quality extremely varies, you should be picky!
We have, after it as unfortunately always at PV as diamond no upgrade gave, a upsell on a room with a view made. It is worthwhile, felt the hotel is then directly twice as good as before. read more

Well-kept, clean hotel in the center the lively south -Kalifornien-metropolis San Diego location. Very friendly, helpful staff at the front desk: - after our hotel voucher at the check-in could not find - nevertheless not a problem! Parking in the garage - subject to a charge, 14 $/ day, for us standards very respectable breakfast - especially enjoyable: - finally no plastic plates respectively -cutlery! In the quite elegant breakfast room surprising peace; international, but predominantly spanischsprachiges guests in the hotel; small, rather unremarkable pool, but use read more

Great hotel with fantastic location. The continental breakfast did not earn its name. The breakfast was uniquely good. There is everything that you could want. The hotel lies only 5 minutes' walk away from the harbor. At the port the uss midway and boats. Also in the immediate area is the gaslamp district, as well as little italie. To the bathing beach is however a car needs. The hotel isn't so big, therefore it is also very well arranged. The rooms are big enough. We had the luck a very large room to have had. The other rooms are but ... also american standard. Hotel is clean, although our maid said the beds not really to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I can really recommend the hotel. In case we once again to San Diego should we would for certain choose this hotel again. read more

We were although it is only two days in this hotel, but we can recommend it. the hotel has approximately 120 rooms. in the middle the hotel complex is located a pool with small whirlpool. From the building enclosed is, there is hardly any sun. It is not very big.
Loud hotel description the catalogue should Parking inclusive. shortly before the departure we then get a message, that parking 10 US-Dollar a night costs. the car stands for but also surely in a parking garage. read more

Stayed for four days in the Bayside inn and was very! satisfied. Had a nice, large, clean room with balcony on the side. Parking in the garage next door for about ten dollars per day. Breakfast included (unfortunately not to our taste). Otherwise, we could walk! everywhere, Little Italy-very delicious food, the harbor, the USS midway (highly recommended), the gaslamp-Quartier and much more look: Coronado Island and, above all, La Jolla-a dream. You can hear it, we were completely thrilled by San Diego. read more

So today I would like a hotel from the current United States tour in July 2011 imagine. It was the second hotel this journey and we arrived as to San Diego. The city is full of contrasts: worth seeing, modern, old and full of poverty. There is something for everyone,
the hotel was clean booked and paid for a best Western. A best Western plus, to be exact. This is what we have new as his, I have never experienced the.
it would therefore better as the other individually controlled hotels hotel chain his. Three stars it used to have. ... Not bad Mr woodpecker, as we later saw.
we stayed out of the bus, took our bags and got from the guide the room cards. Points for the BW program it was because of the rate of course agent no choice.
the hotel was quite high, so 10 floor and greeted us with a marble facade and golden Writing. The sliding door worked well, and the long pulled Lobby was on. It was so narrow, that everything, which was so nice to sit there appeared: a black-white leather chairs by the other. Sometimes there was a dear Baumerl in pot in between.
in a side corridor a hidden essential thing for us. A computer to stop the jügste, but he hung on net. It was so with password activated, virus protection was okidoki on everything. Only the speed invited to relax with a freshly brewed coffee.
with the elevator you got to the fifth floor. We rolled our bags over the grey carpet. Zimmer504 was our aim. I blocked the appropriations brown door and the room I liked the same.
the King bed with the window. The white duvet was lined with a brown Stoffband walk on the bed. The mattress seemed to be new and comfortable.
the desk turned out to be a brown, with two rectangular corner chairs. On the table there was a white Tastentelefon. Back the table in the window a lamp, served as a light source.
the black TV was a good, old black and white TV. The TV was the Programmbox. There were a few HD programs. In the drawers of the dresser I cleared television industrious our laundry one.
A table as a storage of microwave and housing black mini bar Refrigerator.
the bathroom was painted white. The bathroom Mirror was very large. It was almost on the whole wall way appropriate. On the bathroom counter there was all kinds of shampoo, Conditionner and creams.
the taps were strange separately. The acting as a lever in two directions rotate. The tub had a fix mounted shower Head. I love the shower hoses. You have such a bit like I less. The brown tiles met my taste not so.
everything was clean condition.
the corridor was the counter. A narrow, white closet with extraordinary many clothes hangers. On 10 piece and laundry bag. At the bottom of the box was a pay safe without price.
breakfast it was not direct in the hotel. We had to go to the restaurant next door. Therefore we were given vouchers. There was juices, muesli, waffles, Muffins and fruit. Warm meals were eggs and sausage. Was OK.
3 blocks away you can buy with a CVS. Otherwise you can not too much. Little Italy is Northern the best Western. read more

The hotel is very centrally located on a main street, was in the room but nothing from the street noise to hear. The shopping district of Horton Plaza and the gaslamp quarter were also within walking distance. The parking costs $10 in the period between fixings, -/ day. The breakfast was served not directly in the hotel, but in a separate area behind the entrance of the parking garage. The check-in and check-out was spotless, also otherwise the reception was great, they booked for us the accommodation for the next stay. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the ... everything was available (safe, TV (only with American channels), fridge and microwave). We had a twin room with two huge beds with four pillows. The hotel we would definitely book again. tip on each attractions: the point Loma, the aircraft carrier USS midway (museum), and the old town are very recommendable to read more

If one starts the hotel, one should be careful. because it has a parking garage and not as usual in America parking around the hotel. If you overlook the entrance to the parking garage, one must take the same detours on several blocks to the hotel, since there was only one-way streets in this district. The multi-storey car park has two floors, a bit inconvenient, if you have a lot of luggage in the trunk has. Guest parking costs ten the night. The room was okay, the room size had the US standard fare. The room was very clean and ... appropriately furnished. What bothered me a bit was the fact, that coffee and coffee maker in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The location is excellent, the port is approximately ten minutes walking distance. read more

The hotel is easily accessible from the highway, parking in the garage for seven $per day (just drive, on the ground floor there is parking for check-in). Rooms are not newly renovated, but okay. Quite closely as in most of the bigger cities. You can hear the pipes of Amtrak trains pretty good. It didn't bother us. Convenient to Little Italy (if the Trattoria Fantasia is, the Padrone greetings, he likes German, tip: Thomas) and Strauss-brewery. City center within walking distance. San Diego is a real highlight any California trip! read more

The location of the hotel was rather good. The hotel has it's own parking garage for 7 $per day. The room we had seemed a bit from but it was clean.
The horn of the Amtrak trains was also the night listening.
The breakfast can forget one by far was the best Western standard.

The hotel is located on the edge of litle Italy, where there were several restaurants, which is to clarify, if the Americans can cook Italian. ☺ You can walk in about 15 minutes to get to the gaslamp quarter, there are plenty of bars and restaurants.
We can highly recommend the trolley city tour, you get to see in a short time (we only stayed^1 day in the city).
Furthermore, there is the beach on Coronado Island great and the island was beautiful!
Rooms from about the fifth floor, you had sea view, if it is on the right side. ...
At night it was rather a bit noisy in the hallway, but also on Labor Day weekend in the city. read more

We were only three days in San Diego. The hotel is located on the main road. The noise from the train, the you have to get used to. We had the side facing the sea, have but unfortunately not much to see. Room with sea view cost more. If you have a car in the hotel left, paid 10 dollars per day.
The breakfast is absolutely not to be recommended. There is the same food every day. The dishes were not always clean. If food came to an end, then it simply will not again aufeüllt. Since we were very ... disappointed.
Which is great, from the hotel it is not far to the aircraft carrier USS midway 41.
We would travel to this hotel again. read more

The hotel is located in the Financial district of San Diego. The glass lamp quarter with many restaurants and bars are about 20-25 minutes walk. At night you have on the way back from the glass lamp quarter to the hotel to dozens of homeless people, of which one however left in peace.
The rooms are large and well furnished. At night you have to expect some noise. wireless Internet is available in the hotel rooms free of charge available, with the reception one receives user name and password.
Fitness room was none available at the hotel. We cannot use ... a fitness center in the nearby (5-10 minutes to foot) free of charge. This walk but worth it, the fitness center is very well equipped.
Parking garage is also in immediate proximity to the hotel. ten dollars per night.
The breakfast can one save but: very small selection of food. read more
