The hotel was clean, nice waiter, food very acceptable, but there is each full. By the pool the staff is unfriendly, loungers cushions you can get only after long search, as however only with tips. We give gladly but not sunday Constant construction noises of pneumatic drills In the vormittagszeit. At the beach chairs and covers was a pain. Still recommendable. It is a small, cozy hotel In the moorish steal the swimming pool old but large and warm 30 degrees. The sauna ridiculous, both of 3 large hotels used. At home is the sauna bigger, it was besides in ... most of the time defective -unfortunately. The beautiful, you can in the grounds of the hotels Go for a stroll. read more

The marhaba beach was located together with the 2 sister in a resort. Opposite is a little more upscale shopping center. Medina about 2.5 kilometer. The 3 hotels share a 25 meters swimming pool. The bathroom is currently being renovated. Swimming was only in the 2 week our stay possible. The water is on schwimmtemperatur -no spaßbadwärme set. The cleanliness there leaves much to be desired. Even in the restaurant was sometimes sand to find. The entrance to the pool is good and not suitable for disabled. Some paths in the garden area must be urgently renewed of stumbling. ... One is there, but already it. The pool was the pool deck in the entire vacation period area not cleaned. The pool is not in a good condition however in the winter bathe since anyway none and in the summer is the sea only couple of steps away. The outdoor bars were closed. The hotel is partly renovated. The 2 floor, of 4 floors, is currently renewed. We had a not reconditioned and after complaint we got then one of the renovated 4 floor. The grimy carpet was torn out and by marble replaced. The pedestal the reserve/bed was away. A flat-screen tv, there is now also. 5 _deutsche programmes. The food is tunisian standard the beef dishes were delicious. Since we are about 15 years again and again in Tunisia are we can judge the good. Unfortunately, the area where the dishes offered too small. In particular the fresh bratzone. Therefore there were long waiting times for example with the breakfast as always only an omelet and 4 fried eggs on fried can. This zone should be extended. In winter the hotel is not booked it is therefore not as in the summer in 2 shifts. The first week was quiet. Guest structure 40% germans, 40% british, 20% french and tunisians. Mostly between 40 and 80 years old. In the 2 week came 2-3 coaches with algerians to the hotel. Since shifted the guest structure clearly. Unfortunately differences it is in the behavior of the rest of the guests. It was loud, in the dining room broke the chaos from: jostling, food with bare hands take, (hot), meals landed on the floor and then mountains load-there remained for other not much left. After complaints could the european guests half an hour before food. Morning aasten some in such a way that it also the waiters too much was: 4 persons at the nebentisch left so much food on the table beach chairs which still 3 other full would. Since holte the waiter the waiter so that the leavings looked at. The waiters were always friendly and helpful, a tip by us was gladly given. At the front desk one was on arrival not briefed. ( ersatzhallenbad in other hotels, fitness or otherwise) information i only from other travelers get. The cleaning of the rooms was satisfactory. In the first room was the hygiene but poor. (hair in bed, stained floor) Disturbed us that in both bars in the area of language smoking was allowed. In the outlying areas was non-smoking. The bars and the chairs should be renovated. The dining room could be brighter and more friendly. The weather was this year good 22-24 degrees. Result from the location was not bad but i would for a return visit to one of the sister hotels can choose. read more

As round trip guests ( group of altogether 12 persons) we were initially with a very poor room ( dark and isolated, kitchen smells, water damage in the bathroom) and a border area in the restaurant ( no 12 places in a table) processed. To complaints ( also from other from the group) we got on second day a very much better room. Front desk employee and some the waiter, but not the restaurant-management, were very friendly to us. The beverages, as the non-all inclusive - guests of course pay had, were reasonably priced. Payment at the end of the ... 3-day -stay with a mix of Dinar and Euro smooth and honest. The food appeared to us with local dishes very good, in the other area rather unimaginative and simple. But for our few meal times all in all okay. read more

Getting a bit old but beautifully convenient. Can the negative surprises not understand. Everything was in abundance available. Also at the beach we had to no tip to give a nice place but the loungers could be renewed; the beach boys were very nice. Probably would be important, as you enjoy opposite behaves. A very nice beach vacation by a repeated booking next year in may is repeated. We are already looking forward to it mood read more

The marhaba beach is a very nice( no rectangular concrete block ) older hotel, nestled in a wonderful garden area, directly at the beach. It was already a lot about the marhaba beach written, and I sometimes negative reviews not understand can. 1. in the service no difference between all inclusive and half board. 2. so much drinks, with take away or service, as you like. 3. no map or similar to drinks to get. 4. service excellent. The staff is in the peak season on 600 employee with approximately 300 rooms high risks. 5. tip will of course gladly ... taken, is however not a precondition for willingness to help and great service. Only exception the strandliegenpersonal. Many a time very demanding ( tip) and very unfriendly. read more

Great complex very close to the beach, much green area, the staff were very helpful, the animation team was very friendly & not urging, (lunch peace will notice ) in the restaurant was even breakfast buffet for late riser, Maid service very pleasant and make sensible clean ;-) guests very mixed, German, English & locals, really recommendable ;-) read more

The hotel is medium sized and well arranged. The all inclusive services i found for the price reasonable, although the lunch buffet was a bit monotonous. A 2. week i would not want to eat there. The food general was partly not really warm. The room and also the whole hotel was clean and tidy. Mostly guests from Russia and britain, but not unpleasant. read more

    Foreign languages were the complete staff available. The staff were predominantly friendly, specially the waiter in the restaurant and the cleaning lady were very hard and have a good tip. Absolutely dissatisfied i was with the people, the at the beach and at the pool the beach chair mattresses spread out. The staff at the reception was not unfriendly, on my complaint regarding the pool chair reservations at the beach was however so done as know you from nothing. This, even though this drawback should be aware.

    The chairs at the beach and pool were mostly already at 6 o'clock mornings reserved with towels. If you the beach- or pool boy properly lubricated has, he has undertaken this task. An umbrella after the breakfast still was at a normal way not possible. Of al i once by the pool even a mat on another couch put, i was of the pool boy very rude turned on. On my complaint at the front desk now i was in the manager directed, but not anywhere was. They did so, you have this practice never heard, although all the guests with whom i have spoken, this criticized. I suggest a liege approximately 100 meters further in a small beach bar and rented had finally my peace. The entertainment at the beach i found too pushy (gymnastics with whistle for example) and with loud music noise. The evening animation was very loud and in my opinion really bad.

    The hotel is directly at the beach. The main street with various shops are it only a few meters. The distance is however large enough no cars to have. To sousse it was about 3 kilometer, to Port el Kantaoui about 6 kilometer. except with the taxi you can also good with the small tourist train drive. Stops signs everywhere on the route between the two places and is cheaper than the taxi. As it during my stay was still very hot, i have only a few excursions.

The hotel is small, therefore very easy to find your way around, and the paths are all very short. The kompl. Complex included the room was very clean and seems recently renovated. The all inclusive-services you can from to use, and if you didn't get full, it is your own fault. The only thing which a bit annoying was, you had to at: o'clock get up and chairs on the beach reserve ( I am actually no fan of it, but if it all?), so you still got. But with the time you get used to it. The guests were ... at this time very mixed from russians, English, German, swiss., whereby English in my opinion prevail. However all the guests were decent and there was no noticed, as usual in other hotels. The average age of the guests is already somewhat higher in this hotel, what I but 1000 times rather is, as too much small children. read more

    I had a very modernly decorated double room with bright furniture, clean bathroom and even a flatscreen tv. The size my room was for me alone more than enough. My balcony showed the hotel entrance, but not too disruptive, as the main street yet around 600 to 800 meters from the hotel is. Air conditioning, telephone and a small fridge are in the room available. A safe can for a total cost 1,00 Euro per day at the front desk be rented. The only fault on my room was directly on the first evening obvious, unfortunately were my bed hair. Since it was already 01:00 A. M. was, and yes a maid as would be, overcame my disgust, simply even the hair. There but otherwise everything has matched, and the cleaning of the rooms from then on was okay, I will soon be forgotten.

    In the hotel there is a restaurant ( in buffet form) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A snack bar, a beach restaurant, lobby-bar, salon bar, pool- and beach bar. I honestly have to say, I have not yet vacation, it is Cuba, Egypt or otherwise where, so great and good food like in this hotel. The taste of sauces, soups, meat and so on in a German restaurant not be better. The selection, no matter wether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, is huge. Mornings for example always freshly prepared eggs (no matter in what form), donuts and crepes were freshly prepared, jams, sausage, cheese, fruit, muesli, evenings there was always freshly prepared slices, grill, nudelecke, different vegetables- and rooms at hotel palm bay are, always 2 fish dishes, 3 meat dishes and so on if one says, it could be been more diverse, I would like to know, what then at home eat, probably dosenravioli! Lunch I always at the beach eaten, because you here also in the beach outfit could eat. It was although it is only a small selection from the dining room, but also good. The dishes were the best seasoned and seasoned. In restaurant one has in the morning and evenings always a fixed table, which I personally super find. You don't have to wait for a table, and you always have a fresh tablecloth.

    From the service ( as far as taken into account) I personally can only good things to say. No matter wether the waiters in the snack bar, the staff at the beach or in the dining room subject. All of the staff were always friendly, helpful, accommodating and not pushy at all. With German is you to 98% always farther. As some of these reviews writing, without tip nothing at all and every the hand is, I can not confirm. The staff were even without tip always helpful. And if everything fits there is nevertheless gladly tip, at least the yes also from the tip, and whoever is pleased not about a little appreciation? With the guests which supposedly without tg nothing goes, this is probably people which you never what or such ekelpakete the house the staff condescending treat and their work also not worthy.

    The sand at the beach is quite nice and bright. The sea was crystal clear and the water temperature was pleasant for a cool down. The pool, a very small pool, I would have unfortunately not would like to make use of, the seems to me a bit outdated to be. Perhaps it is the but also only a matter of opinion. The water in the pool looked uninviting and dirty from. The entertainers were always friendly and polite, and also accept a simple 'no'. The leisure facilities in this hotel isn't very large, the entertainment rather low, but I didn't mind that. If I the hustle, bustle and high-life would like to, I would have a club vacation to book. The people who so what would also like to recommendable is.

    The hotel is located directly on a fine sandy beach. From the airport there were about 70 minutes ( included stops in other hotels). I was in this one week only in the hotel complex, and I am therefore not to the center old. Therefore I can to purchase- or excursions no statement meeting.

Hotel with drawbacks! Room: are OK but unfortunately no fridge available. Service: staff comes unsatisfied over, evenings does not exist sufficient glasses and at 23:45 o'clock you have The waiter discuss that you get something to drink. ( all inclusive until 24:00 o'clock) Gastronomy: the food was very monotonous and not seasoned, in the a la carte restaurant better. Animation: the boys are really great especially Lasca-> thanks for the funny vacation:-). But also Süßi must I mention she spoke very good German. At the evening agenda something must done will, since in the 2. Week the ... Program repeatedly. So, if you want to tip for every achievement gives is in the right place here. Nevertheless a lovely vacation at the great beach. read more

The hotel was probably beginning/ middle 1980 built, is however still in good shape. The garden is very nice and tidy. The pool is ancient and definitely renovated, as well as the furniture at least exactly out of fashion is.     The slogan of the hotel staff is very simple'without moos nothing going on' unfortunately we had this annoying experience now make your own. We booked all-inclusive, however we had to before a performance was only tip are charged. We knew it from our previous vacations in the different holiday destinations exactly the other way around. Only was service offered, for friendly and courteous service we gave also like tip. A highlight was also the daily fight for the beach chairs. The beach staff occupied the loungers with its own towels, only for tip one had a pool chair with mattress received. Altogether was the service except for a few exceptions rude and unprofessional.

After we because of your partly very negative reviews with a mulmigen gut feeling left, our fears after arrival as absolutely unfounded showed. The hotel marhaba beach is very small, but not cramping. We are the first time to Tunisia and after everything you hear positively surprised. Friendly people, a beautiful, if not more brand new, but clean and great proximity to the beach located hotel. To Sousse it took just a few meters and many taxis bring one for little money everywhere back. The beach and the sea are really clean. Always enough chairs available. Still another word to the tip: we know, that the people in these countries are of them. If one friendly treated, we personally like something. Other did this and were in our opinion not worse.     The size our double room was sufficient. Either are in this hotel all rooms so old and run-down as ours or we had simply bad luck. The bathroom was with old brown tiles tiled, which apparently did not like to be cleaned. With the washbasin was part broken down and on the floor, there was generally hair (what definitely not of us could come), dust and dirt. The toilet we had to leave before the first use first even clean. The balcony also has its best time behind itself. The plaster was crumbling have, dirt is on the floor and in the painting the wall the painter apparently the tiles with the wall is confusing. Very sloppily work. In the room is neither a mini bar a safe. A safe you can for 2 Dinar (= 1 Euro) per day at the front desk book, however not to the room take. To mention: We had twice to the front desk and weight, because for the first time no towels more were available and with the 2 time, our old towels from the soil hands, folded and back on the holder and the bed around half 6 evenings still wasn't done.

We are for example mornings at o'clock breakfast ( breakfast goes until o'clock) and even at these time of day the food was already cold. Cleanliness and hygiene were acceptable ( clean tablecloths would have been nice) At the beach bar was generally a cat at the buffet rum. There was even from the staff fallen down ice yet to eat serves respectively in the case provided. Only a few dishes typical for the country, the rest were mixed. The staff have looked at, that they do not work there. Tips were really required. For everyone freshly squeezed fruit cocktails was (despite all inclusive) converted circa 2 Euro as fixed price demands.

You heard hardly a 'hello' or 'good morning' or otherwise friendly guests ( smile). Foreign languages skills were acceptable. In German one could inform oneself somehow, otherwise English or french. Child care and a doctor there are in this hotel simply not respectively was never in any form pointed out. Complaints were unfortunately only halfheartedly noticed, but were then largely fixed.

    Except archery, Boccia and water aerobics nothing was offered. Direct in the hotel complex there was no kids club, no disco and no shops. Access to the internet was in the lobby provided. The pool was unfortunately too small, much too warm and very dirty. He could not even clean and there were in the morning already lots of large insects in the water. The plaster crumbled already something from. The pool bar was very nice. Chairs and umbrellas are there included. One had however be there early, as the loungers ( despite prohibition) early in the morning were reserved. The sea was mostly from lunch by packaging and glass dirty. Otherwise there were also some seaweeds, which however not was disturbing. Furthermore swam a few jellyfish (which in contact very painful are - own experience) in the area in the sea, you are allowed.

    The hotel is however directly at the beach, however you have to in order to go shopping circa 2 kilometer to go (also by taxi at a charge possible). The airport is about 30 kilometer away. There is a (with hinzugebuchtem transfer) from the airport fetched back, but initially some hotels at, whereby the journey to a good hour of the programme. Excursions are offered in the hotel like for instance camel rides, but not does what it says on the tin (promised a ostrich farm, on the then only 2 ostriches were. As well as cactus and melonenessen, which then not at all took place)

Ive visited this hotel many times over the past couple of years and love every time i go! I get treated more like royalty every time i go! All the staff are very friendly and welcoming from the moment you go through the door. Rooms are lovely, always better higher up as you get a better view! (Like anywhere really) The food is lovely, i eat loads and am never left hungry at this hotel. My favourite is the beach bar later afternoon where i always have a pancake or pizza! love fresh made pizza.! Drinks are always available ..., and bar staff are fast on the evening at keeping you supplied with drinks! they dont know measurements so if you dont want it too strong then you must say! Animation boys and suzzie the lady who does the children are all very good at there job and are always trying to make your holiday happy. Making you laugh and helping with anything you need. They work long hard hours and always have so much energy, so i respect them all for that! Around the hotel, there are nice places to go to, couple of nice restaurants down the road when you turn left out of the main gates, and lots of lovely little places to eat in at port el kantoi which is the harbour about 5-10 mins down the road too. Visit sousse for some crazy shopping, as its an experience to do so! I always enjoy getting cheap things and the shop keepers are really funny as they love tourists. I have just returned from Marhaba beach, and have been here many times to this hotel before! It just gets better every time. the staff and animation are the people that make my holiday! The bar/restaurant waiters are so friendly and are always hard working, smiley and very welcoming. The animation ( Joe, Khaled, Laska, Timo, Mario, Leo and Susie) are also very hard working, starting work at 10am until midnight, with only a few hours break. They have always got the guests laughing and having fun! There are also daytime activities organised by the animation (waterpolo, archery, darts, french ... bowles, aqua aerobics) no one is ever forced to join in! The beach is stunning. worth the extra for a sea view room! There are always sunbeds. so never needing to wake at 6am to reserve some! Food is lovely, always find something different to eat and never bored if there for 2 weeks! I am already looking to book my next trip to Marhaba beach I cant wait to go back. Thanks again to the staff and animation for another amazing holiday!!! read more

    Size and facilities reasonable. The old is one thing, actually not so dramatic, but the hygiene is poor! The bathroom was very many places verschimmelt, really disgusting! Cleaned inadequate! No safety deposit box in the room (, but behind the front desk), which totally annoying is, since you have the key always hiding or must be carried at. A fridge is also not available. Air conditioning is to be enjoyed with caution, is very loud and difficult to regulate. Our room had lateral view of the sea and direct view of the neighboring hotel tour khalef, the a disco operates, which was so loud, that one the music with the window closed even room speakers heard-terrible!

    Altogether there were a restaurant, a pool bar ( only drinks), a beach bar ( drinks from 09:00 A. M. in the morning, food between 12:30 to 16:00) and two bars on the ground floor of the hotel. What really irritated: the dinner in two 'strata' divided, upon arrival one must for a period of time to decide and then throughout the stay only the possibility in the initially elected 'layer' food. Altogether one has for it about 1 hour time, which was working, but rather uncomfortable, because one was constantly at the watch. Furthermore at a certain table, the included neighbor table assigned and remains ( luckily our table neighbors super nice, and we welcome you met to have!) - nevertheless a absolute insolence! The food was okay, like (almost ) everywhere is the variety in week 2 but then on the way, but we didn't really bother us though, because actually, it was always enough choices. Especially tasty were the tunisian food, they are really very recommendable! Be careful with the drinks, the juices are rather concentrates and only diluted to enjoy. Water best only closed bottles of drinking, we had one or another time the feeling, that drinking water chlorinated is... ( definitely not a bit from the tap beverage!)

With English and french one comes in any case further, German was rather less spoken. The cleaning of the rooms left much to be desired - in the two weeks was the bed not even reupholstered, they mopped only very superficially-if at all! After a week we have so much dirt/hair on the floor found, that these bunches from the soil they could break. Also the toilet has constantly after urine stunk, which but also because of the age of the sanitary facilities could.

    The airport enfidha is about kilometers away from the hotel, the transfer time is approximately 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the traffic situation and depending on how lots of hotels on the route. The hotel is directly on a fine sand -beach location, which provided by a small way by the pool-/ garden area is achieved. Shops are nothing special varied available - in sousse directly there were several souvenir shops (in which to a large extent the same offered) and two larger shopping centers, both are within walking distance about minutes reachable. The offered excursions we personally didn't really like, offers but there are both for short tours, to 2 days sahara included night.

I just got home from Tunisia and Marhaba Beach hotel which is located in Sousse. I was there with my family and it was the first time in tunisia The hotel is absolutely wonderful, certainty and the environment is perfect, the hotel has a nice lobby, really nice rooms, comfortable beds, wonderful staff & service. The beach is right up with the hotel and it is also beautiful. It is full of activities throughout the day such as "Animation team" continues, water aerobics, water polo, darts, petanque, volleyball and so on. In the evenings, they also have performances, both for ... children and adults with dancing, beach parties, stomach dancing, kareoke and other various fun performances. The guys and RICO the BOSS in the animation team with the hotel & restaurant staff is absolutely wonderful and is a big part of that we always felt so incredibly good at this point.
