Obzor Beach Resort^{(4 stars)}

The apartments are very spacious, bright, and nicely furnished. We had a nice, large terrace with direct view of the middle of nowhere with view to the garden, because I would not recommend the garden (street, sure and debris) doesn't exist.

The food at the steakhouse was more than disappointing. The fish was old and almost raw , spaghetti bolognese consisted of overcooked,ungesalzenen pasta, chopped ham and cosists of Tomatensud. Only the pizza was ok. After a latte macchiato I was 2 days at the pool bar with vomiting, diarrhea, Chills and fever in bed. And I was not the Einzige.Das food in the restaurant was ok but this is also more expensive.

The staff tried hard, but partly also very unmotivated. Only 1 woman at the front desk can speak some German, otherwise you could only speak English I bought cleaning after 1.5 weeks to our bathroom to clean,because at that time wasn't cleaned once. Only the beds and the floors were cleaned,made. towels were changed in 3 weeks.

After 1 week stay, there was no show-night more, snack bar was closed. Entertainment consisted of football, mini-golf and a person, which is encased around with the kids photo taken with it, which you can buy(5 euros per picture).There is a grocery store in the basics you could go shopping.the beach was very nice and the ocean view from the temperature angenehm.Für small children is the pool but better, because it was always very wavy. For a chair and an umbrella cost you had to pay 6 euros.

Generally, it's a nice place, unfortunately mismanaged by down in such a short time (railings damaged, showers dirty, lime).clean,but the rooms during our stay not cleaned (except vacuum, floor was wet sweep).We had no food.

Direct access to the beach. Our AP was on the beach-side. The view was nice, but because of the constant becouse laut.Die transfer from the airport to the hotel lasts 1 hour. There were shopping possibilities in the city (15-20 minutes by foot).

In the hotel there were two bars and two restaurants. There is also a nightclub, but rather for young people. Find a restaurant in the breakfast and dinner was served, this restaurant is from 7:30 10am and from 18 :00 until 23 :00 . There were to 21 :00 hours. Also the bars close at 11pm. The quality of the food and drinks was ok. (Note 2-3 ) with the cleanliness, all the Bulgarians it didn't seem so, both in the restaurant (for breakfast and dinner) and also in the Tropicana Bar were the tables during operation not or rare wiped, it was only the used plates cleared away.

The staff with a, two exceptions were rather taciturn, the that might have been, almost no one spoke German (except for the Rezeption) ... otherwise one got along with English a problem ... The front desk staff was very freundlich...Im restaurant and in the bar you had to have a certain influence, if you wanted to order something to drink, otherwise you would ignored. Also the Bulgarians are very comfortable, as everything took a little bit longer ... Our room was on the day of arrival as far as the cleanliness was a good impression, but during our stay didn't pay attention to that way, there were only made the beds and changed towels (tables, mirror, shower, etc. weren't wiped down ... ), in the room however was a vacuum cleaner available, so that you could even them yourself ... ;-)

There were several pools, room was cleaned every day, entertainment occurred there ... more entertainment in the Tropicana Bar from 21-22 hours, sometimes kids disco before ... Great beach ... Beach chairs at the pool are free, on the beach chair and chair for a fee (each had 6 Leva per day)

Bulgarians, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, German Great for couples who wanted to have their peace and quiet and just want to relax at the beach ... But also great for families with teenagers Kindern...für it may be a bit too boring ... The airport is 70 km away from Burgas and the of Varna 60 km , but the transfer is worth it since Obzor into the mountains, so you can see a bit of the area ... The distance to the beach - 0 meters (The hotel is virtually in the beach..:-)) shopping in two supermarkets right in the hotel, there are a lot of self-catering in this hotel again, also shopping at the ca 2 km from place Obzor on the street or on the sandy beach along ... Excursions were offered by the travel agent Küstenfahrt ... among other things, jeep safari, AquaPark, discovery Bulgaria, an excursion to Varna ...

We had an apartment with an extra bedroom, about 60 sqm overall. Tastefully decorated (the hotel was built by a Danish company) and had a really amazing view of the black sea! The kitchen was superbly furnished to keep you going well equipped for self catering. Windows but not great screens, especially with (small) children problematic, though, it's around 9:30 pm local time (8:30 pm CEDT) dark!

The restaurant is right on the beach and therefore you have breakfast or dinner a nice view. Morning classic buffet - continental or English - nothing special but everything was also there. as evening buffet with mostly local dishes, always french fries and pasta. For a 4 -star resort but rather weak, what variation, quality and taste. The staff at the cleanness could have been a little more certainly can do problems with insects but hardly. There is also an a-la-carte-restaurant, but never visited. However the ambience looked promising.

English was spoken at the reception desk, German could only a lady. But were all very helpful, had to the services but not often take advantage of. The Wake-up-call worked anyway ... Room cleaning was okay. Although we could have done time under the sofa cleaning, but which will not! Mini club there is over 4 years, we didn't use though. Beach chairs at the pool were free, but at 9 am all occupied with towels - only understands and I'm sure that SO MANY Germans not at the resort. Since our bad attitude some have anyone copying them ...

The beach and the pool were clean. The pools were cleaned in the night. Due to the proximity to the beach a of kind waiters which petered out fun hardly to prevent but every morning a cleaning crew to keep the whole area to sweep and cleaning. beach chair and an umbrella on the beach had to be paid (approx. 3 Euro per unit and day!). SO I with my beachmat! If you don't want to carry with umbrella in Obzor, can buy one for a few euros. Evenings there was 30 minutes. Mini-disco and 1 h several programs (like everywhere).

The location right on the beach and just far enough from the main drag make this an oasis of tranquility. The guests were mixed, the main part make apart from German and Dutch Scandinavians. Since there was no all inclusive area, all very relaxed. The general condition was good, the facilities spacious and especially for families with children between 0 and 12 ideal, provided you like water! The property consists of seven houses, which are geared toward the beach. There were several pools and children's swimming pool, two playgrounds, a mini golf course train and a wide, sandy beach. In two supermarkets were all important for the daily needs at an affordable price.

Obzor is located between Varna (the ride to the airport was about 1 hour) and Burgas, the area about 15 minutes walk from the city center. The path is very tidy, safe not German standard, but at least with pushchairs navigable and lighted at night! Along the beach it would be shorter, but it must be a small river durchwatet ... In Obzor there were a few nice restaurants and bars and a supermarket. For party-People definitely not the place to go, then just go straight gold or Sunny Beach!

As already mentioned, the room at 1,2 or 3 people too small furniture good.full kitchen available. We arrived directly find our bedroom is behind the bedside table thick feather dusters not removed and that the fridge top not cleaned, any thing. We would rather not further nachgeschaut.Das best thing about the room was the air conditioning. Wonderfully cool. Service was good. All in the pool bar and in the restaurant were hard working and kind. No-one spoke German. Room was cleaned every day more or less.beds were made but just that you could see the what has been done.Not even nicely appointed as I know it from other hotels. We had a water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom and after we called by the travel agent, who spoke German, it was the same day removed. A broken tooth mug out from the a piece of glass was cracked could only be away but not replaced because it does not have substitutions, had.I think very dangerous for toddlers.kids club was available but I believe there no one spoke German then they don't make sense. We almost didn't use pool by the good location to the beach. Only when the red flag (Baden prohibited hanging ) on the beach, we walked by the pool where we also evaded not. Staff were friendly and tried hard. At the reception desk spoke 1 lady good German and 1 more as well as a man broken German, otherwise there was no one German and you had to try to get on in english to talk to. Area big.it was block G at one end of the grounds, (left of the front desk in block A) you had to walk a long distance to get to the restaurant in block D at the whole other end of the complex. Entertainment in English so I love the hotel not suitable for kids. Nationalities : few Germans, mostly Dutch, Danes, Swiss, Polish, Russians. Contacts so bad and also because of the size of the area.room for a single person, for 2 people or 3 people too small. Pictures in the brochure enter a false impression. The hotel is located at the pools just a step away from the beach. It was actually the only good thing about the area. Otherwise, there was also a nearby hotel Miramar with all inclusive but you couldn't enter. Otherwise was nothing around it and it was pretty bland. The place Obzor is about 2-3 km away, who can help you within walking distance. There is also a hotel bus for 1 leva = 0.50 Euros per person but only until 12 and then went back from 5pm.
