A typical city hotel, and a bit noisy unfortunately without air conditioning.
It is but nevertheless well bearable.
Food was very tasty.
For a few days around the Tessin to visit, totally okay.

Very unfriendly staff and with complaints, they didn't avoid. The food ( appetizer and 2 main courses) were not enjoyable. After complaining wanted one coffee or dessert treat. Or we would have another main course to choose. We preferred to leave read more

Once and never again; front desk without any opposite the customers, bad foreign languages skills, no parking options locally; room amenities and service not with the immense high prices compatible, very small bathroom and old furniture, dirty room, foyer and entrance. Very disrespectful staff and uncleanliness. No foreign Languages service, although it is available: that means preferred Italian answers instead of German. For so a higher price not recommendable. read more

The central location of the hotel is a plus. The only negative was the very unfriendly front desk, the small rooms, a quiet sleep with the window open was not possible, the breakfast was not plentiful! read more

For guests the moon and stars Festival is the location ideal and since one looks on the not so friendly Front desk and service. Cleanliness and the size of the room is good. For little money you can in the hotel's own underground parking nearby parkieren. read more

The hotel is located in the immediate area of Locarno, Piazza Grande at a convenient location. Distance to the station about ten minutes walk. The front desk was professional and fast. All information given with no issues. My single room was rather small in the direction of the main road (pedestrian zone). In the morning starting from about sixth place 00 o'clock deliveries to the business with trucks (a little noise). The room was simple and functional equipped. Really comfortable for me it was not, for a night without further claims but okay. The wet cell with WC/shower was very ... clean. The breakfast buffet in the lovely dining room was for a hotel of this category very varied. At the check-out was the hand-written bill already prepared. You can pay with credit card but modern. read more

Request for a quiet room with three beds more than well met (a big room with five beds!). Reception and waiting staff friendly and happy to speak English and French as well as Italian. Nice restaurant with large portions and good price/quality/volume of food ratio. Obviously being on the Piazza Grande means some noise (including church bells on Sunday morning!). read more

The hotel is in a great location, right on the Piazza Grande. One can undertake various excursions. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was good. For our short stay this hotel was the price/performance ratio the optimal variant briefly to recharge the batteries. read more

the room was small but adequate BUT I could not eliminate the AWFUL LINGERING ODOR of the cleaning soaps sparays they use to clean the place

In the context of my train tour I was with two nights in Locarno. I enjoyed the hotel very much. Would book it again. Had a nice single room with small balcony, views of the Piazza Grande. With the windows closed I heard no street noise, when there was a lot of traffic outside was. The breakfast was more than sufficient for me. The coffee was from a machine, which also had advantages. We have also the Cento Valli train, bus, and walk down to the Lake left and back to Ascona (last piece with the bus, as the sidewalk ... ended). Also a hike to the pilgrimage church of Madonna del Sasso (is currently undergoing renovations) was nice in the hotel restaurant the atmosphere, as well as a pizza in 'la Carbonara', across the street from the train station. read more

We had booked on the Internet directly and got a first not acceptable room at the back and impersonal.
My complaint, I immediately and was treated somewhat friendly but perverse. With the reason I booked this on the Internet and it would take now.
Booked breakfast was okay, but without love and quantity equipped.
I think apart from the location, the hotel has no special quality and we will not be staying here again.

A very good service users than half board. Especially appreciated Nutes Mr Carlos already in the morning and always in a good mood and had also in the evening messages on it. The front desk-oriented only to the in and out of, any questions about the events and Kartenservice could not be answered. read more

In this hotel you could begin 30 years ago with the renovation. Unbelievable, What guests in Switzerland to these prices. There will never stay here again and I do not doubt, then a tent. read more
