We were as a family, with two kids (6 and 9 years) for 4 days in forte the marmi and the hotel with the excellent Italian kitchen ( appetizers as a buffet, 3 other courses serves) and the flair of forte the marmi very much. Also the breakfast was far above the, what one normally in Italy were offered. The hotel management was regularly in the dining room present. Stayed in the pool area enough chairs available. The hotel is also very good as a location for excursions to Pisa and carrara. Only negative point is the fact that little ... public beach area and the well maintained and a good infrastructure operative standclubs expensive. So costs for example even a with the hotel zusammenarbeitetender beach club (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) € 40 per day. read more

Well-kept hotel with good gastronomy; central location to town and beach; however, the noise from the street, the hotel and the pool from the beach; Eintrittskosten for beach chairs including umbrella and two between 80 and 25 €per day depending on the season; a broad sandy beach with a few people; expensive designer stores (Prada, Gucci etc.); great shopping at the market on Wednesday; no onsite car park; in summer only Italian, from September German read more

The hotel is its four stars in any case worth. At the front desk spoke perfect German and you were always very friendly welcome. The room includes everything you need (including air conditioning and refrigerator) was daily cleaned and, as well as the bathroom was clean. The pool was also very beautiful, however the entrance is a little dangerous, as the railing was very unsteady on the one side. But there were sufficient pool chairs, in addition, an extra towels are provided. That you have to walk through the bar, in order to get to the pool, not so nice. ... The food is very good and delicious: in the morning you serve yourself at the buffet wide, there is everything, what the heart desires. In the evening there was a four course menu: salad buffet, hors-d'oeuvre, main course and dessert. Tip: at the salad buffet you have to serve yourself plenty, because otherwise you would not be satisfied. The menu port ions are rather small. The distance to the beach was ideal (about one hundred meters). However, nearly the whole beach privately, that is to say you pay a lot of money (high season 75 €per day!; low season 35 €per day). Tip: the hotel had an arrangement with a beach operators: 'Bagno Belvedere'. Where you could pay 20 €per day for two sun chairs, a parasol and a sun lounger. It is really nice and very clean. Caveat: you hardly peace on the beach to the numerous African sellers, which were constantly want to turn something. The city of forte dei marmi is no typical Italian tourist. Hard to find souvenir shops and a classic pizzeria it is. It is a city of luxury. all have designer shops. It is recommendable to visit PISA (Piazza dei miracoli with the leaning tower, the Duomo and the baptistry), according to Lucca (including the Basilica and the Torre Guin Gini) and to the lake 'Lake Massacioucoli'. All in all, the Tuscany is always a vacation and the hotel absolutely recommendable. read more

Great hotel in exklussiver location. about 100 metres behind the hotel in the evening walking the hallways zone. ( Disignermarken) the beach is on the road to reach, fine sandy beach, very shallow sea. You must go to to swim very far.
Since the hotel had no own parking lot have we always the same in the immediate vicinity of a public place free Park. Almost all public parking is available for a fee (approximately to the hours)
The hotel's own pool have we not use it, since we were always outside throughout the day. PISA is about 30 kilometer ... away. Cararra, La Spezia and is also good to reach Cinque Terre.
Our room and bathroom was also very spacious and decorated in a modern style. Bar, safety deposit box and Kilma in the room available.
Great breakfast buffet with all the bells and whistles, also champagne.
In the evening delicious hors-d'oeuvre and salad bar, and a three-course menu then.
In this hotel there is nothing to complain about it. read more

The room:
Everything was very clean. However, we had a very nice view (bushes and backyard). But we had also no sea view booked. The room was also not particularly large. But it was everything what you need and the room were cleaned thoroughly each day.
The staff:
All were extremely friendly and helpful. We could also all kinds of tips for the Exploration of cities and us were also train times expressed and maps given. As we the function of the air conditioning system not completely understood, immediately went to the room and explained us a receptionist with very ... friendly everything. Almost all spoke German, to our very relief.
The food:
You could choose from each day three starters/main courses/desserts three three. And should not make the even the taste, it was still a rich Hors d'oeuvres buffet and salad buffet. From the they would be full. Us has it almost always tasted very good.
The location:
The hotel is really good, only separated by a road from the beach. And also in the heart of town is charged. We have seen also nearby buses, but we have not used it, since we with the own car there were. Perhaps something to complain about what is, the parking is available. You can only park in the street in front of the hotel, on two sides. If you have no car park caught, you must park in the beach promenade, what is very expensive. Us is the only happened once though.
The place:
Forte is really the marmi very, very beautiful. but also very expensive. A cappuccino at the cafe was with 3.50 more affordable, then also the was it already. Really was for us 'wage earners 'shopping at Gucci, d&G & Co not possible. But the place is very beautiful with many parks and laid out like we wandered through the town in the evening.
All in all we can highly recommend the hotel really only. We have spent there very nice days. read more

The hotel is definitely further to recommend.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The food was simply class-very varied. tasty and la dolce vita-just to enjoy!
The only downside: the place of the marmi forte a very expensive, is a fashionable place, what relates to go out and shopping. The beaches are mostly privatized and can only be used for an additional fee. It is a free beach, located approximately three kilometer away from the hotel. This can but on the seafront on foot or with the bike was pretty good. read more
