Excellent 4.5 star hotel for a family stay. Our room was upgraded, very clean and complimentary water provided in the rooms. Nice balcony and nice bathroom. Clean beach - only thing is that the beach is rocky with shells so the water is not that accessible. The international buffet is great and all water activities e.g. water skiing, pedalo, kayaking, snorkelling is included in the price. Very helpful staff. The hotel is a at the beach long area, so that each room facing sea. Depending on the location of the room you have to the lobby/restaurant/pool 5-10 minute walk plan. The hotel's condition returns actually no reason to major complaints, but the hotel is noisy description of catalog completely renovated. This description is definitely not to. Tiles are loose, paint is chipping. In short - not renovated (only in part areas)! If you can advertise, you should also stop. This condition is over all areas of the hotel. Wi-fi is available in the lobby with decent speed free, then ... also for 2 hours in the room. The guest structure was mixed, all nationalities, all ages. There was no group negative (very few russians, only mannerly beside-taking away chinese, the buffet rulpsen and pfurzen - even groups of young italians and british behaved despite universe inclusive and plentiful bierverzehrs not beside it). read hotel review

    The rooms were exceptionally big. There was a large lcd flat screen tv (german: only ZDF). The couch for a 3. person was unacceptable. The mini-bar was empty (ideal for us, since we the geträne in the super market). The room service brought at any time free ice cubes. There was free tea and coffee (instant). The cleanliness was superficially average.

    The food in the main restaurant evening was varied, there was always a different theme night (among other things. International, seafood, italian, mauritian, french) The breakfast was always the same and there was no large selection.     The staff is except for some painable exceptions, were all friendly and courteous. Basically understand english. The room cleaning was average. Very negative was unfortunately a fact in memory remained, the us the staff in bad memory is: since we every evening the same waiter had, the our every evening same order without demand at the table brought, we have the mandatory bill the last few evenings only volatilely controlled. A evening must hopefully by a mistake a bottle of wine 40 Euro instead of a bottle of water 3 Euro on the bill slipped are, what we do not sufficiently controlled. Have noticed we only one day of late check-out. The bill we naturally settled, were still on this fact angry.

    We were very much out of the hotel, to discover the island. The pool looked clean and attractive. The beach was not to use! There is a seeigelplage, by festivals beach shoes puncture. We service. The reef is not very worth seeing. Not to compare with Egypt or Maldives (applies to the whole island), which inter alia related, that speedboats and boat excursions always on the corals mow. You can tell all 3 meters, that again coral destroyed. The beach chairs were partly broken, the cushions very remote.

    The very nice anzusehende beach begins directly at the hotel. He is guests reserved. The nearest significant town about 5 kilometers away. With the rental car we had to the shopping center after grand baie drive, to the next west equipped super market. Near the hotel within walking distance is nothing to brag about at all to reach. Taxis wait 24/7 in front of the door, we found the prices as expensive and were glad our rental car, we also extended.

The hotel is very large, with very many rooms some bars and restaurants. The grounds of the hotel is very well maintained and nicely decorated. The rooms are big enough, each room has air-conditioning, tv, minibar, private balcony/terrace. The rooms are very clean,it is if you want cleaned every day, tidy and the towels were changed. The room service is very attentive and tidy. The food in the hotel is very good,there is something for everyone there. You can choose in which restaurant you want to eat however one must in all restaurants except the 180 degrees celsius ... reserve a day before (although we without reservation got a seat). The hotel staff no matter in which area was very attentive and courteous. The hotel offers a very beautiful beach (of course ran a or two dogs around on the beach but not harass or bark, but on the whole island) at the beach were always enough pool chairs available and you always got cooled drinks served.     The rooms were big enough, we had enough space. It was cleaned every day and even tidy. You also had a television with a german transmitter (ZDF). Whereas you had to say that one little in the rooms is, because a simply the sea and the sun rauslockt.

    The food is also good. The food was very tasty. Everything was there from the chicken to the sushi you had a lot of choice and there was something there for everyone. With the breakfast one had a wide selection of bread or bread rolls, fruit, eggs, bacon... The lunch was offered at the snack bar at the pool or in the danebenliegenenden shells. With the lunch there was also the opportunity pizza or fries and nuggets to eat. The dinner was then again in all restaurants the restaurants were all very delicious and mostly jn form of buffet.

    The service in the Le Meridien is perfect! The staff are very attentive, shall even the plates from the buffet to the space and a always again new water. If you ask you always got drinks with delivered to room in bottles. The staff there is very friendly, also with someone and gives good advice on trips. The staff is very attentive, remembers even the favourites of someone and know right what you wanted to drink ☺

    Entertainment at hotel was very pleasant it was not too much, but it was never boring. In the evening there was in the bar except sundays every day live music. During the day could one then the activities from the hotel, for example, snorkeling, glass bottom boat, kayak, Tennis play...

    The location of the hotel is a bit secluded from the village, it is still not too far from the village. You can easily walk here again. In the town itself there were smaller souvenir shops and one or two restaurants. The hotel has a very beautiful beach but you should wear water shoes, because it's already very many dead corals lie. The water was always very nice and clear. The only thing that was a little disturbed that very many boats behind the barrier of schwimmbereiches drove and the sand storms were whipped up where the snorkelling was.

We booked this hotel through the official website, and it was "all inclusive" package. We did have a great holiday at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and very available at our disposal. The hotel has its own beach, so we could enjoy sunbath directly, with drink service (free of charge for all inclusive package). The sunset can't be missed, and it will kill lots of negative (or memory cards). The location to downtown Port Louis is a bit far away, it might take up to 30 minutes by taxi. And it was very expensive to take taxi to ... around. But the way to the downtown passes the sugar camp with background of mountain. It is very beautiful. The hotel is far away from airport, and it takes up to 1 hours by taxi. If the upon mentioned is not a problem, then this hotel is really perfect to spend the holiday. read hotel review

We were with the hotel completely satisfied. In the honeymoon suite was wonderful aushhalten. Of the dishes we were extremely thrilled! Especially the shells restaurant is wonderful! However the hotel is on the one or the other place is in need of renovation. Hopefully happens soon something! The staff is mostly very obliging the restaurant is a bit better trained! Beautiful gardens. Unfortunately the beach is very strong corals and steinlastig and makes the entrance! read hotel review

12 years old hotel, which best years are gone -unfortunately! Nothing was renovated-there are shortcomings clearly visible to the danger of injury (parquet in bar with large holes, paths bumpy and partly there unlit-mold is everywhere!) Deluxe room worn and dirty (#204) - the furniture on the balcony were for months not cleaned once-tabletop swelled-bathroom including toilet dirty. Got 'upgrade' will be charged a room in the ' luxusbereich' nirvanna (however garden and halbso large # 426)- on the first glance great bathroom, then came the frustration: mould over the bed, air conditioning leaked, furniture worn-but better than first, especially ... wi-fi rooms(.) In the hallway to the room dripped the air conditioning also-the whole ceiling was black mold. Then the great meltdown the toilet started to bubble-only in the evening, then at night as well from 2 hours-sleep past! Morning directly complained, since the güllegeruch in the hallway outside was not great was, then was the toilet completely except function-hotel was then changed. For someone, which does not have a set importance on the accommodation, perhaps still ok, since the dishes, inbsbesondere in the restaurant la faya were very good.     Restaurants: La faya-à la carte - very good food to star! Unfortunately also here: old and hardly neat. - toilets, na ja ☺ Chairs are often here numerous live birds (cute & rude bugs!) Crappy. To us not a problem, because one could the chairs was clean, which but unfortunately does not happen. Food in the restaurant cumin (indian) delicious & well, unfortunately impossible plastic chairs. The 180° restaurant's buffet chairs with hussen 'beautified' -unfortunately were about 80% of the fabric hussen also crappy and has been weeks not cleaned-good appetite!

    Nice at the beach location, however, the reef at the beach totally dead-you can see only a few fish, but tons of sea urchins. Outside of the hotel within walking distance is not much going on. For someone, which looks for peace, nice location

You can great holiday and it is as far as everything. You can eat at many corners however at la faya most exclusive. (very good service and great food) Almost every evening live music in the beautiful bar, service at the beach, with bathing shoes baden however half so wildly. Everything was beautiful. Only problem: Cat for the food in the 180° buffet-restaurant - that is unacceptable! Stray dogs at the beach and in the hotel complex - disturb the relaxation, belong there not, bark joggers at the beach at, versprerren the way into the room and bark and snarl ..., absolute plage! read hotel review

Le Meridien is really a very nice hotel, right on the sandy beach located (for the sea but i would recommend beach shoes, but that wasn't really bad ) we had all-inclusive what i would also recommend to anyone it was worth it.     We had for our honeymoon one royal suite, the wonderful was (150 square meter ) on two levels with a balcony and of course, ocean view A mini bar is also available but is not included, but don't mind the you can the beverages of the bars also take away and thus put together yourself. The rooms were in the morning once completely cleaned and in the evening once again fresh towels and even the bed made

    The hotel is directly at the beach and the airport is a good hour away. Next to the hotel are a few shops and a currency exchange, directly in front of the hotel is also a taxi rank (where one should negotiate ☺ )

In november 2012 we were in the hotel and got in extra range nirvana a great great room. Here everything has been correct, and the best was the peace and quiet (no children under 12) and the attentive staff. We ate at la faya (fine kitchen) on the menu. The restaurant 180 degrees against food from the buffet and didn't really fun. Had a car for 10 days, very exciting and strenuous, because the streets bad ventilated. So much have we never procedure, nevertheless everything saw. Here it meant persevere or taxi. A recommendation: book two hotels near 14 days. ... Once in the north and in the south. The shortened the stressige drive through the always full highway. Best before much about the island read, hotel as in the catalog, from the island expected more. read hotel review

    There was a main restaurant (buffet), a indian restaurant and a mediterranean restaurant. The themes in the buffet changed every evening. The food has in all three restaurants really good tasty. By the pool there are a pool bar the a with drinks and this also to the liege takes ☺ naturally it can happen that one for drinks were a bit longer waiting as it in Germany is common, but the first one is on vacation and secondly in another country (other countries, other customs ☺

    The service in this hotel was amazing, so what we in still no hotel experienced. The check-in we were sat down and everything was done for us. We also have a coffee and a neck massage, free of charge. We were every time friendly and accommodating treated.

    On the boat house, you could a few water sports free try (water skiing, wakeboard, pedalboot, kayak...) Against an extra charge you can different sports such as tubing, speedboat, etc. Book. The guests there is also a tennis court available. Hits were for free here, only the balls you will have to pay, but you should, of course, then keep. There is the main pool, the very nice and a quiescent pool which also a well-kept impression (from us however not used was).

Le Meridien Ile Maurice is a great hotel, but since the sea/ beach many dead corals is scattered and almost no fish in the water can be seen, I would this hotel for a longer beach vacation not recommended. It is also advantageous, bathing shoes to wear. The hotel complex is very big with a beautifully maintained garden, in the lobby Wiki- internet free, in the section with the 4 erzimmer is available in of the kids lobby a computer with free internet connection. For internet in the room are costs. Two beautiful pools invite to swim, but the warm ... ocean preferable is. The furnishings is great, the food in the restaurant is also very good. read hotel review

we had the room 306 with balcony. In the bathroom peeling the cleaner of the walls, the ventilation worked not, because no choice Vent available was formed mold at the silicone joints, under the toilet collected water, which only after repeated complaint distant was. At the coordination of the waiters in the restaurant needs more work. Here is the total chaos. The buffet is in a semi-circle built and so the space was to small. But here was the last days attempted lot and to improve. The spices are meanwhile very dry cleaning and laundry on the tourist set. drink prices in the hotel are too expensive. 1 liter water 150 MUR. But approximately 300 meters from the hotel there is a gift shop, where the water costs 25 MUR. with our room we were fully completely satisfied. the beach is clean and almost ... without corals pieces. However swimming shoes in the sea necessary. We had always a sun screen, even without a reservation. read hotel review

our room was very commodious and had a small balcony with a view of the ocean, in reason the design all of the rooms of this hotel; it can however his, that therefore the footpath Toward the lobby and main restaurant can be a long one. In this good weather not a problem his, but when it continuing rains, is a rain shelter definitely needed, as there is no continuous canopy. There is a trolley service with golf buggies, but the transport takes a very long time. The room was basically clean, what we however bothered me was the large ... rust spot in the bathtub and the sustainable traces of use in the shower area. Apparently planned, the hotel general to redevelop, as however the other meridien hotel (the grand mauritien), which we had booked, was burnt down, the fears were expressed, that no money for an early renovation is available. we were very pleased with the food selection in the main restaurant, as well as in the other restaurants; we needed however for some time, until we arrived, in the few, but lying brochures 5 restaurants as stated, we however only 4 discovered and the mystery solution it was, that Indian restaurant for lunch was different than evenings. Generally must be said, that the group philosophy of Meridien is, the guests as little as possible to inform and get up to the guest, the information. In any case we advise urgently to, all inclusive to book, as the drink prices are very high. In retrospect we believe, that the use of the all inclusive the package was worth it. the staff were on the whole very nice and friendly, although it will of course always exceptions is. Complaints the room concerning were except for once fast and prompt service. the section of the beach is quite large and when the hotel is full, it could to bottlenecks and umbrellas. What bothered us the most, was, that the beach chairs pure wood and therefore very difficult. The 'sun-entry' designed in more extreme pain. Bathing shoes are certainly recommendable, there is no 'stones loose' access to the sea. mauritius is a very beautiful Island, overall in the months November until February, if more rain showers occur, everything blossomed, and in particular the flame trees, the nowhere different so for travelers as we, the individual had booked, we recommend the contact with annerose metric ton (easy to find on the Internet!); so was the planning tours and individual travel not a problem. read hotel review

really beautiful hotel, great area, very many rooms (but one even with many guests never impression, that it was crowded, it is good in the area.) it is everywhere of the detail, the lobby area is nicely decorated, with flowers and candles chains for the evening decoration, the rooms are nice, ( the bath is not German standard, there are still times a few black at the tiles), the outdoor areas very well maintained. (hotel getting a bit old and you will find the level where something was laying around no longer so or courses great in Color shone ..., this would in Germany so not, but it is now times also not meticulous Germany! read hotel review

    There is a main restaurant with buffet. Here is breakfast and dinner (for the dinner there were theme evenings) offered. Furthermore there are 3 more restaurants (2 with lunch( buffet or on the menu) Mediterranean (also pizza, Sandwiches under other the you at the beach or pool. Served) to evenings you have to in the hotel for the restaurants except main restaurant reserve ( is however in the all inclusive unlimited, free). There is a restaurant Indian, and two Mediterranean (one of them direct at the beach). The quality was always very good. (we were too many in the Mediterranean restaurants but also in the buffet restaurant is always something for every taste and constant freshly refilled or freshly roasted gently.) breakfast buffet is great, everything your heart desires no matter, whether warm or cold no matter, whether pancakes, rolls, fresh Omelet, fresh fruit, fresh juices and so on there are 3 bars, a beach bar, a bar at the reception and a bar with nightly live music. We had all inclusive package and therefore at the bar almost everything except for champagne inclusive. Lots of tasty cocktails and shots.) with the food in the outdoor restaurants is also nearly everything except lobster under other inclusive.

    the staff's hospitality for us as a family hard to beat. we have our small daughter from the cleaning Power bell boys, service staff, reception staff, barkeeper, pretty much all really good met. There were all extremely child-friendly! The staff they spoke English and French. We had a great friendly Bridal Coordinator. The customer service we once used (as we our Bridal package included a partner) here, too, we can only good things to say, although our daughter only 17 months was the gals job well done. Furthermore I have the hairdresser/ Cosmetics in the spa area for my wedding used and I was very satisfied. ( price could have been a little cheaper but the performance was really good, despite my almost short hair I had a hairstyle.) only Downer and also a tip for improvement to the hotel, is the check in and check out. We are before 2:00 P. M. arrived and could the rooms, as well as the all inclusive Benefits from 2:00 P. M. use, which with child and after such a long trip not so great great is. You'll get a welcome drink but that made it all worth it not out. Furthermore we then at the start the wrong room get, we had extra through our small booked a room with a terrace and only after complaint on the next day received. And now to the day of departure. We had beautiful la Costa Blanca expected. Our daughter was at the beach and in the water only with bathing shoes on the way. Evening entertainment is discreet but in the bar great and the live music nice adequate for the area.

    The airport is approximately 40 minutes on foot but the drive is okay. The next site (Triolet) is by car or taxi approximately 15 minutes on foot. For excursions you will by bus and depending on destination about 15 minutes until 1 hour. (our longest ride was 1 hour catamaranTour of the eastern coast) the aquarium of Mauritius approximately 20 minutes on foot. (where hike through the area you will also impression, the not only everything was shining, there is also poorer houses and streetsand path-proportions are also rather adventurous. People who like too much and also evenings go here to go on tour by taxi or bus EXP( cars rent is possible but left and rapid driving of the locals not recommendable) and partly longer Paths. (since we were with our small daughter lot unhitch and swimming, as well as play at the beach wanted, we weren't a lot of time touring.)

Location right on the beach-but as a seaside holiday not to be recommended, as very many coral pieces, stones and sea urchins in the water. If you like the go, this is not for you total disappointed. Room and bathroom were nice spacious, but the bathroom was musty. The rooms simple renovation, furniture was already older and the Balokn is very small. Everywhere in the hallways to the rooms it dripped from the ceiling, water damage are absolutely insufficient repaired. It dripped everywhere from the ceiling. On 14-15 o'clock you can go to the rooms check in, aüßer you pay ... for the night before. Service and staff were nice, but also the fault of the hotel not weghelfen. That is why we would not go back to the hotel. Sad since it on the Internet and in the borchures but looked very nice. read hotel review

A really beautiful hotel, certainly where the positive aspects outweighed. But these prices are for a four-star hotel totally inadequate. The 5-star will not required. Here are a few examples: 0.33 liter bottle of beer 230 Rp = 5,75 euros, 0.66 liter beer dispensers 380 Rp = 9,50 euros (here is fibbed, in fact, there are only about 0.4 liter!), soft drink 130 Rp = 3,25 euros, Wei or champagne glass 350 Rp = 8,75 euros, Bottle house wine (for example, Neder castle Riesling) 1,700 Rp = 42,50 euros, a 3-course ... meal with 1 FL. House wine and 1 FL. Water for two power on average up 95 100 euros, it is not inexpensive. Internet in the room costs 1 hour 375 Rp = 9,50 euros. It can't be split, once logged in, the hour is gone, no matter how long you're in there. Tell these madmen prices are the beach at the hotel. The same weri tgen hotel le Victoria is all about 40% cheaper and adequate. The beach is narrow, sand/gravel beach with rocks interrupted. Without bathing shoes you can't go into the water, everything was very stony, even in the selected area. A bit annoying the motor boats are, in short distance continuously water skiing. A few waiters at the bars sleep with the help almost, but the staff are very friendly, helpful and extremely attentive.
