for a few days (we were there 3 days) the hotel is recommendable. The location is really great. Shops nearby, to the bus is not far and the train station is also on foot to reach. If you're a light sleeper, that I would not recommend this hotel, because the walls are very thin are! read more

We enjoyed the stay in bed & breakfast very good! Total central location; condition and cleanliness better than a B&B before expected; friendliness, flexibility and willingness to help of the staff extremely good; nice decor (if you expected a chandelier in a two star bed & breakfast?). Shortly before our vacation was one of us got in the form of a crutch. We had the bed & breakfast not being informed about this. When we arrived was very friendly and nice and we got the rooms assigned even. Flexibility of the B % B was great, so that we had ... not expected! The rooms turned out to be a real luxury rooms. Ok We are students, but size, facilities, and location with elevator were very convinced! We had such a small bed & breakfast in central location not what we expected! What we did not know: if you want to pay with credit card, you have to pay a small surcharge. One bar is charged not! We did not want to pass on this suggestion;-)Another tip (body) to disabled people in this bed & breakfast. There is a lift which wheelchairs space and the bed & breakfast offers (at least) a handicap accessible room. read more

We a four-bed room had booked, which emerged as a double room with two setting beds, thus were unfortunately very much restrained it. In addition it was always rather warm in the room. The bath was however pleasantly large. The room was to a large extent cleanly, only the daily cover, exhibited a few large marks.

  • Gastronomy

The breakfast was simply however good. There was coffee and dte, two juices, toast, Croissants, packaged jam, muesli and yogurt. The breakfast area is very small (5Tische) and lies in the cellar, thus not particularly comfortably.

The coworkers were friendly all, but somewhat pedantically that one had to always ring, in order the B&B was to be entered, partly lasted it somewhat to a coworker came. The room was thoroughly cleaned. A breakfast around 6:30 clock was possible after arrangement.

The B&B lies very central, only few minutes to foot from the O'Connel Street far away (bus stops airport - and Sightseeingbus). A Tesco supermarket is also only 100m far away. Many restaurants and bars are in the proximity and the famous Temple bar area are only 10 minutes to foot far away.

Our room in the highest floor of the cultivation, had a double bed with setting bed. Nevertheless it was sufficiently large for three adults persons. Large wardrobe, storage possibility for suit-cases, TVS (not used), coffee and/or dte cook possibility. Large very beautiful modern bathroom. The area worked by several windows brightly and friendly. Windows could be darkened by the curtains well. Very calmly by the situation to the rear out. The rooms were not badly soundproofed however absolutely cleanly.

There was a breakfast area in the basement with 5 tables and 20 seats, which may appear admitted for all guests somewhat small. But one was asked each evening, when one wanted breakfasts (around 8, 8,30, 9 etc.) if all guests to it adhered, it would come probably to no congestions! The quality of the meals was very good. There was a small buffet with fruit salad, fresh yogurt, three different Zerealien, coffee, dte, water orange juice and milk. On the table one could select between 6 different jam sorts. For this there were freshly prepared toast and according to desire scrambled egg, fried egg, ham, bacon, small sausage and beans. In beautiful weather there were still three further tables in the inner court.

Very friendly receipt with the check Inn (with us against 22.30). The reception is 24 hours occupied. Room cleaning was perfect. The operation in the breakfast area forestalling and very friendly. All questions, with us e.g. For a certain business in the Internet were searched immediately.

The hotel lies in the Lower Gardiner Street, beside many other B&B and hostels. To temple bar, Trinity collage about 15 minutes to foot. To the newest shopping street, the Henry Street 5 minutes around the corner. Two very beautiful Irish Pubs in direct proximity. Free parking from 19.00 to 8,00 o'clock directly at the hotel. Remaining time per hour of 2,90€ or in various multi-storey car parks for 20€ ever 24 hours! Travel from the airport to the hotel depending upon traffic volume 25-45 minutes.

An apartment had rented. This was appropriate in the adjoining house in 4. Great situation! Everything to foot super attainable. Supermarket (24 hours opened) lies around the corner. The O´Connoll Street, of where from the town center tourist bus (Hop on - Hop off) and also the air haven bus (air left) drive lies likewise around the corner. With the taxi we needed even only record-suspicious 9 minutes for the airport. (Our return flight went at 7 o'clock and we the taxi for 5 o'clock had ordered. The taxi driver said the fact that around this time the airport was extreme “busy” but up to a little coming to a hold traffic directly before the terminal, which we would call as normal, did not give it to any back-up. Besides we had to state that the Irish are outside of and even within of Dublin anyway rather cosy and stress-free drivers. Driving a car is not thus in Ireland a problem, one must only to the link driving “get accustomed”. However acclimatizing is and if one remains likewise left after one day and no problem does not leave itself to stresses!

cleanly and comfortably, even with television. Bath was good and bed comfortable. Of the volume also perfectly in order, one heard the neighbors only if they left the room. Only disadvantage, we were right at the top, had a few stairs to thus run.

The Amberley House is a B&B which is very centrally located. The bus station is within walking distance in only two minutes away, Temple Bar in 20 minutes and Croke Park in 25-30 minutes. The hotel does not have a safe in the rooms. The (mostly very young staff very helpful although sometimes overstrained if the hotel, as during our visit, was completely booked. Breakfast is served in the semi basement - the room is a bit small, but it seems as another breakfast room in the new wing arise. All in all the Amberley House is a B&B for ... a weekend trip in particular because of its good location highly recommended! read more
