for a few days (we were there 3 days) the hotel is recommendable. The location is really great. Shops nearby, to the bus is not far and the train station is also on foot to reach. If you're a light sleeper, that I would not recommend this hotel, because the walls are very thin are!

We enjoyed the stay in bed & breakfast very good! Total central location; condition and cleanliness better than a B&B before expected; friendliness, flexibility and willingness to help of the staff extremely good; nice decor (if you expected a chandelier in a two star bed & breakfast?). Shortly before our vacation was one of us got in the form of a crutch. We had the bed & breakfast not being informed about this. When we arrived was very friendly and nice and we got the rooms assigned even. Flexibility of the B % B was great, so that we had ... not expected! The rooms turned out to be a real luxury rooms. Ok We are students, but size, facilities, and location with elevator were very convinced! We had such a small bed & breakfast in central location not what we expected! What we did not know: if you want to pay with credit card, you have to pay a small surcharge. One bar is charged not! We did not want to pass on this suggestion;-)Another tip (body) to disabled people in this bed & breakfast. There is a lift which wheelchairs space and the bed & breakfast offers (at least) a handicap accessible room. read more

An apartment had rented. This was appropriate in the adjoining house in 4. FLOOR (App. No. 33) 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 Duschbad/WC (sleep places for 4 persons/in the living room stand for 2 individual folding beds) general was very sporadically furnished the apartment and it was very clean and by the additional rooflights very bright everything. There was among other things a small television with nevertheless the two forward channels of Ireland, however the bath had, why also always, no mirror?!?! It saw somehow also freshly reconditioned out. Perhaps one had still no time a mirror ... to install… But a tiltable complete body mirror is located in the bedroom. Sufficiently reservoir, if at all needs, (1 cabinet, 2 bureaus and an open shelf) was present. The bed could use a new mattress, was however still o.k. when turning it besides gequietscht; -) In the kitchen everything was present, we however up to the refrigerator did not need. From the nevertheless relatively much traveled road one receives few. Some B & B´s. generally lie in this road. read more

The hotel is BREAK nearly a Bed and, which left a beautiful impression. The room was not large, but perfectly sufficient and above all cleanly. Beautiful bath with normal shower (is in England, Ireland not so normal). Breakfast area could have been a little larger however. read more

The Amberley House is a B&B which is very centrally located. The bus station is within walking distance in only two minutes away, Temple Bar in 20 minutes and Croke Park in 25-30 minutes. The hotel does not have a safe in the rooms. The (mostly very young staff very helpful although sometimes overstrained if the hotel, as during our visit, was completely booked. Breakfast is served in the semi basement - the room is a bit small, but it seems as another breakfast room in the new wing arise. All in all the Amberley House is a B&B for ... a weekend trip in particular because of its good location highly recommended! read more
