If you search for a comfortable hotel in the city, you are completely right in Hotel Opera. The staff is very kind and helpful, either with ordering cheap taxis or with organizing trips or what ever. The room service and restaurant are very good.
The breakfast might be a little expensive related to other hotels, but anyway very good as well. read more

The opera hotel is located in a quiet area and not far from the centre of Kiev away. The five stars hotel is a rehabilitated building, with different room categories and that is the problem, because some single rooms are quite small. My room 605 faced the courtyard. The small window only little outside light into the room and I felt almost, like in prison locked. The bathroom was very small, the shower is a joke. Here I could not turn. Why not five stars in my book and I never a leading hotel of the world. Positive I can ... evaluate the queen size bed, the tv selection (many international channels including five German) and the tea and coffee selection in the room. The hotel's restaurant is highly recommended, but not necessarily cheap. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. I don't know what the double, but my single room and for me 'no-go' shower, I can recommend the hotel unfortunately not. If you stay here a superior room or a suite would, however, could perhaps read reviews of other guests. read more

A very good hotel but unfortunately not located directly in the city. Without taxi is not interesting places.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped, but not exactly tastefully, as well as the whole public area.
Mostly cheaper rates than in the other luxury hotels : read more

The very posh, small hotel is located in the downtown area. The main shopping areas are within walking distance. Everything about this hotel is very luxurious, lots of antiques, gold, marble and glitz in the beautiful lobby to see. The staff is from the desk to the bar to the spa always very friendly and helpful. The size of the rooms is the only negative I can find. There are a few rooms, you have to think about "the case - or I". The room itself highest standard, flat screen, wireless Internet access, great, comfortable beds and scented with everything ... (even the toilet paper). The showers in the small rooms are a disgrace, as it corner showers are. If you have a larger or is wider, made it difficult, leaving the door not delights. Newly REDESIGNED restaurant is a dream. Beautifully decorated with all modern amenities, international classic cars on the map. Steak or fish in all variations, pasta and some dishes from Ukraine or Russia (borscht at is highly recommended), and tiramisu and panna Cotta. The staff cannot do enough here almost before friendliness and what you don't know or (a wine choice) give you make it possible or bring in experience. The bill was despite the enchanting ambiance affordable (The exchange rate makes it possible). Smokers relief, as there is no smoking in the hotel - I found it a bit disturbing the accordingly as non-smokers, but that's in the east. The small bar in the hotel is also appeal to many business people and evening business "girls" because you shouldn't disturbing! The spa makes it quite on Asian/oriental style and is rather dark. There is a small sauna but no lounge chairs to Rest, there is a jacuzzi and lots of candles. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. read more

A small, but fine hotel in an old building. It is not right in the city center and away from the monasteries. Shopping center and supermarket available in the immediate vicinity. Quiet and large rooms. Very good fitness center with new equipment. read more
