For independent travelers the hotel is ideal, to the bus station approximately 250 meters walk, to Playa Jardin and Plaza del Charco approximately 300 meters. Nevertheless the hotel is peaceful located. We had a simply equipped studio (kitchenette with a fridge and 2-burner stove-kettle, dishes for 3 people) and only the offered breakfast taken into account. The selection of food was so sufficient and the three stars standard wholeheartedly accordingly (several types of breads, cereals, different sorts of sausage and cheese, changing scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit salad, bananas, yogurt, various prepacked jam; the coffee and juice just the usual). ... The cleanliness in the restaurant was nothing to complain, also otherwise the hotel was very clean. Change of towels every day needs for environmental reasons but not. The frontdesk employees and partially. The waiters also spoke german.
The ground floor rooms to the pool can in my opinion little room for privacy, but that can one when booking account. Otherwise i can the concurrently present previous reviewers not endorse, but, that excessive expectations have. read more

We were now the 3. x in the hotel san borondon. We know the weaknesses this hotel, but for us include the benefits. The hotel already had better days, but everything is clean and the staff is very hard-working. The location (beach, bus station, restaurants or central Plaza) are within walking distance. If you stay here on this page about the hotel only complained, the yes the possibility, more money to spend and another hotel to select. We are of the opinion, for this' jugendherbergspreis' the service is very good (otherwise we would have not already to the 3. x ... here). This time we had a studio, on the way there we were from the hotel a bottle of sparkling wine to the room -very attentive. The swimming pool water was during our stay renewed. Unfortunately the pool very cold/heat and that is why it for us nothing; but that's a question of taste. The breakfast we always ordered very early occupied, because the whole retirees later but very noisy at the buffet behaviour and this stress in the early morning not satisfied. The quality of the breakfast is ok, the selection large and there is something for everyone there. Overall a positive conclusion, we will probably in december again. We can very good, but please keep in mind: you could book only a 3 star hotel. If they exaggerated expectations, then you should spend more money and another hotel choose. read more

The hotel has a very good location, so that everything could be reached quickly. (beach, old town, transport, shopping and so on) the architecture is great, unfortunately in the immediate area hotels, the view to Teide prevent. The historic part inviting to go on a stroll and there is a lot of culture was offered. This hotel we will book again. read more

We had this hotel amongst others because of its good location and the outward appearance was appealing selected. The complex is attractive and well maintained. The rooms are okay., a fridge however none. The bathroom is closely what particularly the toilet subject. Our 'cleaning lady' was very pleasant and accommodating, what you from the remaining staff (dining /front desk) only partially can say. The food wasn't only in his selection was very well arranged, also tasted it left much to be desired. And it was the worst food in a hotel.

Keineres hotel with three buildings around the pool located.
Spacious entrance hall with many seats on the ground floor and in the open first floor. There are also the rückflugmappen and a massive choice german books.

Lots of german guests. While we were there between mid -20 until mid 80. the majority of the guests in the middle of 60. read more

The room was in a shabby condition, exactly like the complex in an unkempt state was. The mattresses were worn out-we had after the first day already back pain. We had only breakfast - but already that was both about the quality as well as of the staff very modest-many guests have their own products for breakfast bring along. Only positive was the front desk, the half, where it was possible. The hotel's location is great - the hotel itself in a not acceptable condition - never again! read more

All in all a successful vacation. The hotel has however only stars is but very clean and the staff very friendly. The desire to another room was on the next day and without large demands totally problem-free. The Wi-Fi is enough unfortunately not until the rooms you have to into the lobby planting. 10€ per week was me also too expensive. You will find in the nearby located old town some bars and restaurants the offer Wi-Fi free of charge. read more

Outside hui, can pfui!
Can probably the staff nothing for the state of the rooms, this is embarrassing! We can only speak of luck, that our child just walk starts, with the dirt it could not crawling can! The tiles from the wall, the balcony was dirty, the bathroom great and the food is probably for carcases! The informally run hotel is on the first glance personable. It differs in its size and clarity genially from the large massive hotels. The gastronomy is probably less varied, but perfectly acceptable. Its three stars it has in all areas in any case deserved-more was also not booked. read more

The hotel is good Spanish three stars. There are 3-4 two-story building, however only the main building a elevator. We have our suitcase therefore the stairs hochpöngeln must. Unfortunately we have ants ( however luckily a tiny breed ) in the room had, however that is the general problem in Spain. That one also, where appropriate, a five star hotel. Insect repellant was free in the room:-) pool use only between 9 and 20 PM. Otherwise is nothing negative was noticeable. For a three star hotel it was very pleasant. The room was sufficient and tidy, was every day besides Sunday cleaned and tidied up. The beds were very good.
Breakfast and dinner were always varied and tasty. There was something there for everyone. The staff were always nice and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent. Short ways, whether beach or shopping or go for a stroll. We have had a great vacation and would to this hotel return. read more

Because of the very good division the hotel, one felt really good! Not as with most massive hotels with a view of the street! The people are very nice and open, thus also for singles recommendable!
The staff were also very friendly and attentive!
The dinner you could unfortunately not always enjoy, but why even if it so great restaurants with local specialties returns! ;-) read more

You can see on the pictures, that the hotel from individual complex is. Our room had not the most comfortable facilities, but two large closets, a tv, a sofa set and a large double bed with two comfortable mattresses. Unfortunately was our room ground floor directly at the pool.
Thus could unfortunately the doors not open and you heard each of the passed. The bathroom was not the newest, but ok.

The hotel has approximately 100 rooms in 4 together the houses.
The best rooms are the with a pool view.
Superior room are really relatively large, there are however no bathrobes
As advertised, clean, small old tv with 5 German programs,
Older mountings in the bathroom.
The breakfast and dinner is in buffet form offered, is very delicious and rich. No reason to complain.
Very much German guests, staff speaks nevertheless no only word of German, no English. Service in general is in Spain still not arrived, no matter wether in business, hotels or other service industries, smile seems here ... at a cost.
Wifi is only in the lobby possible,
The pool each week wednesday cleaned and the water changed,
This means wednesday and thursday no water in the pool. read more

We felt very much at ease in the Hotel San Borondon. Although we only booked with breakfast included have, we often evenings eat out. The hotel is very central however in a quiet street. If we go back to Tenerife flies, then again in this hotel. read more
