Room was spacious and in a very good condition on the 4. floor, like last year, with a sea view. Every day were the room/ bath/balcony reasonable kept. Every day there was fresh towels, inclusive for the beach. We had booked all inclusive, were from the hotel was good. Beach bar and the bar in the house were offered their best. With the guest structure we were very satisfied, it was ok, there were mainly swiss, austrians, dutch and germans there. The average age ok for us. read more

    Through a secure tunnel under the street, then through the 'calypso beach' we quickly at the clean and well-kept beach. Beach chairs including cushions and umbrellas free and sufficient. To the next town, Faliraki, at the beach along about 20 minutes. To the airport via shuttle about 30 minutes. Trip possibilities in the hotel and at the beach offered.

From the dripping toilet apart, everything was in green surroundings area. Food and friendliness of the staff above average. , for a fun-filled stay recommends renting a car. read more

All-inclusive star hotel in 2. number at the beach in the northern part from Faliraki on the main street to Rodes City located. Room for around 500 to 700 guests. The hotel is a little bit outdated, room and restaurants are spotless clean the majority of the guests are Germany, age 30 upwards, some families with young people but ni 9 on many. Was even here for the 2. time, and will also the next time on Rhodos not after another hotel. The motto 'hellenic philoxenia' = hellenic hospitality was very good. Deutschenfeindlichkeit because of the eurokrise we have ever ... experienced, on the contrary all were very nice, helpful and welcoming. read more

    A bit dated but super clean. The rooms have all a balcony, tv (we didn't use), mini bar (we didn't gentzt ), air conditioning, bath with a shower and bathtub and toilet. Size for two people absolutely okay.

    In the palace there is a buffet on the 4. floor, at of the terrace next to the swimming pool. Seats are inside and outside. The food is still excellent. Especially recommendable the theme nights (greek, fish, rhodisch ). The greek for holzkohlengrills on the terrace and it is simply only exceptional ☺ Outside the meal times of the restaurant during the day is a snack bar open (directly next to it), at least once per stay you should the gyros pita ate ☺ Only fly in the ointment was this time, that the greek evening around 20:00 no Gyros more from the grill was, because the quantity misjudged had. The evening until 21:30, if you go down around 21:00 nothing more have gotten would not say, but that 20 o'clock is too late, that is unacceptable. We also clearly given to understand. 1 deduction.

    All employees have hellenic hospitality on the banner. Here we can not complain at all. Most people of the service were with us in our language understood, some fluent ( empfangschefinnen in the palace, and at the beach, the waiter in the restaurant and the director), and the other it went with english or gestures also very good. ;-) Rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, towels there were daily new, complaints were cared for as soon as possible was, when we move into a better and quieter rooms also with a view of the sea on the 6. floor (as soon as one became available). As regular guests we got a small willkommenpaket with local products.

    The hotel's own beach belongs to the beach and the palace together. We were the whole week at the beach and it absolutely enjoyed. It was sensible early swim to go, if you place in the 1st series like (the first time before 9 into the water). At the beach are lots of activities offered. We have paragliding made. Than swimmers should be within the prescribed bathing area into stay, further outside is much traffic with highspeedbooten (Banana ride, paragliding, water ski), swimmers not or late see. The bathing area into is however also for extensively longer swim large enough. Water temperature beginning october was 22 to 24 °c. At the beach is also the beach bar from the beach, the palace-guests with can be used.

    To the airport it is by bus about 30 minutes directly, 45-60 minutes, if the bus before other hotels went to. The beach the sister hotel calypso beach and the palace together holdings, the palace is a walkway under the main street to the beach, there you walk on to the beach, overall approximately 5 to 7 minutes. To Faliraki centre 5 minutes by bus, to Rodes City about 45 minutes, the bus stops right in front of the hotel, a drive 2,20 Euro. There are shops enough in the immediate, vicinity. The hotel-own supermarket with beach utensiles, cosmetics and books was during our visit was closed. Excursions at the front desk offered or also at the beach or from the own travel agency. We booked our activities this time even organized (p. and tips). The main street can sometimes be noisy through traffic noise. Lautstärkeempfindliche people should therefore a room in the upper area, with land view. We have after consultation with the director on the 2. day made; from the 2 in the 6. floor, both with a view of the sea, and it was much quieter up there...

As many described, is an older hotel. Not renovated room should be urgently renovated. This concerns also the furniture at the front desk and the bar. The location of the hotel on the mountain with the pool, the restaurant and the sea view is dreamlike. The food is varied and very tasty. It is to feel, under the staff a very good work climate is. Everybody was extremely accommodating and very friendly. It was very nice, that exception from the main restaurant all furnishings of the hotel 'calypso beach' could be used. Chairs were both by the pool and also ... at the beach always enough free. Rodes City and Lindos should definitely can be visited. Unfortunately was the access to the internet in the hotel expensive. read more

We were on the 4. time in the hotel and once again a very relaxing vacation spend. The entire staff is very hard, a to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Delicious food, fantastic beach, clean sea, nice people, what else could you want. The island itself is also gorgeous. Only point of criticism is the entertainment. The evening entertainment the entertainers were during our last stay identical, only the entertainers changed. There in the hotel very lots of regular guests are, you should here some new items of the agenda solution. read more

The calypso palace mostly by German the regular guests. It is cozy and well arranged. Partly but also in need of renovation. The service and the food are very good. In addition to the facilities of the sister -hotels calypso beach were used. These are mainly the infrastructure at the beach, the bars, wellness and the entertainment during the day. At the latest in the evening spin the calypso palace guests to the good food and it usually in the evening event. I am a animation grouch, but the events I found very entertaining. I had never experienced something like ... that, that waiter, chefs and barkeeper active and slick at singing and dancing participate. The had a bit of family events. To the end of the season the palace was closed and the remaining guests the beach went smoothly. As a consolation for the circumstances, there was a complimentary ticket for the à la carte restaurant. The food wasn't definitely better than the good buffet, but restaurant service (with at the table flambierten crepes). The rooms are even bigger than the palace and much better equipped. In conclusion it was a lovely vacation in 2 hotels which complement each other well. read more

The family room is big enough for 2 or 3 adults respectively 2 children + 2 adults. Was always clean everything is great. All-inclusive was really big geschriebden. Breakfast, lunch, evening and occasionally always delicious. Especially: constantly fresh fruits handy. Really great! Coffee, espresso, milk shakes, soda, water with/without carbonation, beer and other alcoholic drinks were always available. Everything was great. The age structure first between 50 and 70. later also clearly younger 30-70. there were children and even some young people in the hotel. Loungers by the pool super and plentiful - no matter what time-available. read more

    The staff, no matter in which area, really friendly, without pushy or being fake. Very many language good german or english. The room cleaning service was very good, but would have to be urgently reconditioned. Extra services (laundry, doctor, etc.) We didn't need it. To weight we had us also not. We had because of the but very hard mattresses and somewhat softer asked. This was a perfectly normal request and was promptly!

    Particularly praiseworthy here are the entertainers. They give themselves a lot of effort and-especially at night-with ample applauded. Incredible i think here Natascha! It is super! The holiday entertainers are not pushy. Discreet is told me, if something comes up, water aerobics, darts and so on Great beach, pool great. If you by the pool very quiet like, is in general, hotel calypso palace in good hands. But also on c. beach, it is quiet. Beach chairs with cushions abundant! Umbrellas: for two lounge chairs, a umbrella. Everything was great. Seawater great. Pools unfortunately with very much chlorine mixed up.

    After a round trip over the island by car made, we could see, that our straßenstück but by far the nicest of the whole island was. The neighbouring hotels were mostly very high quality, well-kept grounds, good shopping possibility with typical tourist pockets etc. The place Faliraki even: terrible. Extremely much empty, rundown restaurants etc. Not recommendable. By bus one comes for 2,20 Euro/person within 30 mion. To Rodes City/old town. Here you can nice stroll and shop or sightseeing make.

I listened with neiner grandchild on Rhodos nine days in a friendly, addressable hotel spend. The staff were totally friendly and the extensive buffet was certainly something for everyone delicious for everyone. My grandchild the selection fully enjoyed. In the good assorted bar you could evenings with different cocktails and a varied show program the evening drink. The sun meant it good with us and therefore we could the days at the sea fully enjoy. The sea you could from the room from see and you need only through the underpass to go at the beach, with enough chairs and ... umbrellas ( feast standing), to arrive. At the pool bar at the beach you to your hearts content supplied. The bus stops in both directions were on the doorstep and all twenty minutes, the buses to the beautiful places of Rhodos. Thanks for the lovely vacation. Definitely again. read more

Very nice hotel, the furnishings should slowly be replaced. Food and service true -very recommendable. The starting point for excursions is ideal. The cocktails are unfortunately not with juice prepared and tastes like sugary water with alcohol. read more

A week in October 2012 was great, also the weather played with, warm & sunny. The hotel complex is very nice directly at the beach. The all inclusive food was perfect good, fast & good quality really very high quality, not cheap drinks, but without exception only original drinks as Bacardi, whisky, etc. Waiter also super fast & without any complications. The hotel was clean & neat, cleaning daily. Towels for the beach however only every 3 days in the change and what is really allbern and definitely not a 4 star sign is, the mini bar although initially was ... refilled with a bottle of water, Cola, Fanta, Sprite, however you have to the empty bottles with a certain bar and by the staff refill, the everything without seals, so that after maximally 1 hour no carbonated more is available! We then in the hotel shop our water for the night each bought, as mentioned, allbern & unnecessary also lästg for the vacationers. All together however a recommendable hotel. read more

    The waiters was very nice and attentive. Good german language skills. The front desk was okay. - but there was a lack of interest to feel. I had the already friendly experienced. When we check out in front of the hotel stood, came straight the waiters Past, but not without having to adopt and a good journey to Be. From the reception nothing came! Got only on the 3. day a key for the safe.

    Ideal location, at the beach runs a ferry right to Rodes City or Also to Lindos. A glass bottom boat is also directly at the beach at. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. Faliraki reminded of a ghost town, perhaps also at the time of the year-but not really nice. Rodes City old town has to be seen.

From the outside the hotel makes a very nice impression, due to the hillside location and white arches. If you the hotel however enter the impression directly gone. miniempfangshalle with tattered ugly yellow seating and not very inviting reception counter. The bar, pool, restaurant, snack bar and shop are on the 4th floor ( on the roof of the hotel). Also here the hotel makes no too good impression more. Dirty carpets, dirty curtains, as well as curtains and tattered seating. The chairs at the pool were good (a few but apparently enough, as there is hardly anyone is). From ... the restaurant you also sit outside, this is very nice. There are two elevators. We could witness, that someone was stuck. The beach makes a much better impression - you then also with 200 to 300 Euro more pay must. There are totally lots of regular guests in these two hotels and either know these nothing other, because the hotel so highly praised, or love the good food and the all-inclusive offer. Unfortunately has shown, that the all-inclusive offer very well used. We are some torkelnde guests met. read more

    Actually has the room not once a star. The carpet was so dirty. The curtains and the curtains were dirty too. The furniture was very old and worn. The remote control was only with sticky tape. In the closet there was no real storage space. The tiles in the shower were cracked and the shower head was luckily exchanged, the old one was so dirty and furred up. There was a clean shower curtain ( perhaps because of complaints our previous tenant:-) and the toilet brush was maybe 5 years ago replaced. On the balcony there were two plastic chairs and a plastic table, also very old and worn. The only great was the view of the sea and the cleaning ladies what they cleaned was also really clean. The bed was as far as I could see also every day freshly changed. We even have a personal thank you very much get, after we tip given.

    Normally I would the gastronomy 6 stars, since the food really always very, very good. But my deduction is because of the breakfast, which was always the same, I would have liked something variety in the sausage and two days in a row we had moldy toast. We have on the first day a waitress told me, the disposed and apologized but the second day there was again moldy bread and this time we have the head waiter gesagt and so was the then taken care of. So what should in my opinion in a four star hotel not happen. Apart from that the food was in the palace really always top-the beach a snack bar it didn't tasted so good. We also found the cocktails in the palace always much better - here you had a massive choice and it also all other longdrinks and cocktails mixed not on the menu and there was also iced coffee or shake. They were mostly international alcoholic beverages as Campari or Baileys.

    The service I thought was very good. We were directly by the manager three rooms to choose from (our booked was facing the land side) and at an extra charge of 70 €for two weeks, we have for a room with a direct view of the sea decided. We even had also a family room can get, have declined, as the space was enough. A direct complaint we had because of the hard beds and the holder for the shower head. We got two editions, afterwards we could good sleep and the holder, as well as the shower head were exchanged directly. At the bar, as well as in the restaurant you were always welcoming and got immediately a table. The dirty plates were immediately cleared away.

    There was a huge the offer for entertainment but this was always the same and we personally the entertainment team not promised. The evening entertainment was, if live music played entertaining. 1 more star I give for the beautiful pool area at the beach. The pool itself could really a new coat of paint, but the complex looks really nice from. The pool the palace is small but the ambience is also very good and it is quiet. We have tennis try it, but the rackets were not good and the ball had much better days. It remained so for once tennis play. The volleyball court was in our opinion the best impression. We had hoped to Midget golf be able to play but the couple fields were a joke. The beach was beautiful, clean and to the sea back rocky. The entrance, as well as withdrawal from the sea was with obstacles to overcome or on the best shoes. The sea was super clear and the water temperature was very good.

    To Faliraki it was about 2 kilometer - 10 to 15 minutes until early Faliraki ( we were only there once). A shopping center to the other side in about 1 kilometer (many jewelry shops, 2 supermarkets ( small), pelzläden and small shops with clothes or shoes etc. Directly opposite of the hotel are two car rentals, as well as in Faliraki or shopping center further. We had for two days a rental car from J & D (from at home from busy) and the island asked. To the beach it is only a few minutes walk.

We were to the third time in this hotel. We find it really great, especially the whole atmosphere. Everything was well arranged and the staff, no matter wether restaurant, bar in hotel or at the beach or front desk really friendly. The crisis was nothing at all to remember, even though we believe, that it all employees certainly not easy. The food is very great, it is for every meal time something there for everyone and always very adequate. The rooms are for us completely OK, even if the furnishings not the newest is. It wasn't missing anything and it ... was always clean. In short: we will be back! read more

The hotel has already a few years behind but is very well maintained. The staff are very good/ friendly and helpful. The animation program was given but of course matter of taste. Was not ours but it was never intrusive. The rooms are more than servicable/old but well maintained, clean and I think in the price range above average size. What was missing was a safe. The meals were all immaculate and the all inclusive package is more than enough. The environment at the hotel we felt as a little sad. Why? We missed the possibility evenings to leave the ... hotel in a restaurant or a' tavern' to spend the evening. Faliraki is about 2 kilometers away and it could be English Ballermann designate. Also matter of taste. Rodes City is with the taxi for 10 €-20 €(per taxi driver ) reachable, if d&G belt searches is in good hands here and in one of the several shops are souvenir find. We are furthermore with a quad (25 Euro per day) in the South of the island been which we appreciated a lot. In short As a beach holiday more than recommendable, really a very good hotel in which you all around pampered feels and is. Who furthermore see more like this is perhaps not so well catered for. read more

Were the zweitenal as, the furniture was very run-down, ( renovation should definitely tackle) but room you need only for sleeping. Besides that everything OK. Great quality in the restaurant, as well as at the bars. read more

As we 2011 liked so much are we 2012 right again to this hotel. It was again great. Had friends carried forward the also loved. Because the Calypso beach everything can use the wonderful. Calypso Palace luckily still transportation to and from. Friendly staff this is unique. Lots of regular guests the shows at the arrival. Already alone because of the great waiter Theo it is worth a trip. Over the rooms I can't say our was good. We need it only for sleeping. Visited Greece the people are sofreundlich and can nothing for above happens. We will be back read more

That already somewhat older, but maintained hotel in a good location is located right on the main street. The restaurant as the pool is on the 4th floor with a great view to the sister hotel, as well as on the sea and Faliraki. The guests come mainly from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The staff are very friendly there is a full hotel always very clean. read more

    The size the double room was completely sufficient. However the furniture, the bathroom the carpets and ageing and would have a renovation necessary. However was about the cleaning the room nothing to complain about and also the towels were changed every day (towels 1 time per week). The air conditioning was a bit noisy, but could also be used if nobody in the room was. The small, older tv had some, German channels, like for instance ARD, ZDF, RTL, per 7, sat. 1, etc. Booked we had a room with a view of the inland (low-cost ), however we had on arrival also the possibility, a room with sea view ( extra charge: 60€ per week) to book. The mini bar was on arrival unique with a water bottle filled up, however you could drinks from the bar to to the room take. In the booked room was no safety deposit box available, however one had the possibility at the front desk a small safe free to rent. The only negative was unfortunately, that in our room not a single outlet was. The only socket was in the bathroom, which however too few electricity had. Otherwise ran hairdryer pretty quickly hot and you burned after 3 minutes the finger to.

    Both the breakfast -, as well as at the lunch, and dinner buffet there was always sufficient selection for any taste ( daily fish, meat, pasta, vegetables, salad buffet, soup, fresh fruits, ice, etc.). 2 times per week there was a different theme. In the morning, there was three different juices, as well as coffee, tea and choco. Otherwise there was Cola, Fanta, Sprite, etc. As well as beer, white and red wine, as well as good cocktails. At the pool- / beach bar gave otherwise still Cappuccino and iced coffee. The tables in the restaurant were always cleared quickly and immediately made clean and newly restocked. Lunch can also at the pool bar the sister hotel lunch.

    The complete staff is very friendly and worries especially good around the lots of regular guests. Complaints / problem fast fixed ( our dripping air conditioning was immediately on the next day repaired). The booked room we had to on the day of departure already at: o'clock rooms, however there is a extra room available, in which one again shower and move can, before one is fetched.

    During the day is always a versatile entertainment program offered ( volleyball, darts, water aerobics, Boccia, cocktail game, etc.) and at the beach there were two suppliers, but not to the hotel belong. Evenings was also always offered, like for instance live music, dance, karaoke (in the sister hotel), a sketch show, and so on For a fee you could also the two computer's in the hotel with access to the internet use (2,50 Euro per and a half hour, 50€ per week). The beach is very beautiful and the quality of the water really good. Merely at the water front the fine sand beach a bit kieselartig and difficult the entrance was. Loungers and sun screens are at the pool and the beach free and there was always a free spot in the front rows. Both showers, as well as changing rooms are available.

    The hotel is in a very good location. The beach is about 200 meters away and with the help of an underpass easy to reach. Purchase- and entertainment possibilities are in the immediate area. After about 20 minutes you can reach the center from Faliraki and in the opposite direction is the 'epsilon shopping center' after a circa -minute walk. Rodes city and Lindos you can take the regular bus (2,20 Euro respectively 4,50 Euro) or by boat (11€ respectively 24 €) to reach. The airport is only 14 kilometer away, however the bus ride to the hotel about 50 minutes, since on the way many other hotel guests dropped off and were collected. Excursions when we our tour operator booked, however is on every corner a car rental with reasonable prices.
