We feel like at home - always worth a trip.
It starts with warm welcome. The various opportunities for renovation i think great.
The choice in the menu is extensive, the dishes vorzugülich, the nice service, the quality is high. We sleep well, enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet with the auswahlreichen selection of bread, the regional products. read more

We stayed at Hotel Albris for 3 nights - main reason we went to Pontresina was to do crosscountry skiing. It was the first time we stayed at this hotel and we will for sure come back. It was a very nice, relaxing stay and we enjoyed it a lot. read more

In all areas very friendly staff, 'best' -room with 2 velvet couches or freshen up and small desk, beautiful bündnerstil with swiss stone pine, balcony with view in the mountains, dreamlike breakfast with many breads and pastries from its own bakery, dinner in half board with really fine 4-course menu. When mehrtägigem stay were all engadine transport and funicular railways included. All together a very satisfactory stay. We will come back to this hotel. read more

Very recommendable hotel in pontresina. Good, peaceful location, right next to bus station, excellent for excursions the bernina or st.Moritz. Very friendly and attentive staff. Room ( size and furnishing) for three stars category at the top end, very clean and homey atmosphere ( much wood). read more

We are for hiking old. A pool we couldn't rate, since the Hotel Albris no and the child care or the playing ground we didn't need it, as we without children on the way were. Also to the issue suitable for disabled people we are not review from, since we can not judge. read more

General
As a part of a friends -meeting we have a extended weekend in engadin spent. As one of the members from pontresina comes, we did a hotel and through the positive reviews on the albris has become attentive.
I. arrival
The hotel is a family-run and located at the top end the 'strip' in pontresina, all shops, bars and restaurants are reachable on foot. Check in without any problems lost, spray possible, although we the morning arrived. The hotel has some parking spaces in the surrounding public car parks. Costs chf 5:00 per day.
ii. Room
The room ... categories are divided into standard, good, best and superior. We had at the time of booking only choice of 'standard' and 'best' and for 'best' decided. Generally I think the division a irritating and the differences come except in the price not clearly evident. So we had a beautiful double room in the wood-look, the bathroom is however have already gotten very old and no longer corresponds to the current time.
Cleanliness matches swiss standard, as there was nothing to complain about! On arrival we found a selection of chocolates and sweets, as well as a bottle of water for.
Iii. Meal times
Because we with friends on the way were, we only booked with breakfast included. This is in the form of a buffet between 0700 and 1100 instead, in a small room, which to the restaurant adjacent to it. With a wide selection of fresh bread to butchers ( hotel has its own bakery), there are even made it genuine swiss birchermüesli and yoghurt, cheese, eggs, three different marmelade, honey, fruit, cold cuts, as well as a selection of rolls and croissants.
Even if the buffet relatively straightforward, it is the expectations at a three star hotel. Only the coffee and the service has not really too-I no idea why, but the coffee tasteless and the service limited to the stand of the coffee pot. Clearing away of empty plates, ask, if everything is okay etc. Stayed! I would have, just in the comparison with austrian hotels, some expected more. Since the hotel reasonably priced in the area of a 4 star hotel in Austria is.
From our local friends we experienced, that the à-la-carte restaurant supposed to be very good.
iv. Check out
There was no instruction, until when the rooms must be eliminated. Apart from that was the check out however without any problems.
V. In short
A quite recommendable hotel. The price level in pontresina is not least by the proximity to st.Moritz rather high. The Hotel Albris is one more to the less expensive hotels space. Our expectations were met, we were however nowhere ' positively surprised'or had a' wow factor'.
We would not visit friends to pontresina come, I would for the same money a extended weekend to Austria in a good wellness -hotel drive, as is true for me the value for money rather. Who however to pontresina must, makes with this hotel surely nothing wrong! read more

We stayed at the albris with three children and two adults ( father and son) to a week hiking vacation and memory refresh logged in. It was very pleasant stay, by the kindness of the hotel employees reinforced. In the morning, there was a big breakfast until 10:30, the dinner was sufficient with appetizer, main course, dessert and salad buffet ( also varied). The wellness area is in my opinion more than adequate with heißluftkabine, a steam room, and sauna, well maintained shower facility ( with many variations). In the fitness area two good training equipment with 'on-board computers'. ... A solarium for a fee ( we didn't use it) and a resting room with a view of the mountains. The rooms are well maintained, there is enough towels and bathrobes. A shortcoming through the design conditionally: the rooms in the annex are only accessible by a flight of steps. Electric bikes ( two) and good mountain bikes are without fee in any case to borrow. Very friendly staff. If you evenings elsewhere to eat would like, then one gets for this day only the overnight stay with breakfast be applied. Without even asking. The also not everywhere. read more

For about 10 years we spend already a short vacation in Hotel Albris and were already at that time very satisfied.
Also this time the many, partly personal touches, which just as much reisendes couple very good and our stay memorable. A welcome card with our name in the room, a mineral water, as well as a plate with comfit the hotel bakery. The very friendly check in and check out, here and there a few words, the a the feeling give, as a guest still important ( even if it still many other guests in the hotel there, which ... to serve shall apply). The fine bread as a present for the farewell we find a very good and matching idea. Thank you very much. We would gladly come again, perhaps even a bit longer. read more

The albris is a very likeable hotel. We liked how the (whole ) family K. their credo 'personal well-being' on the complete staff transfers. The personal contacts (welcome in the morning and supper respectively for leaving/return of to the hotel/ s) with the hotel management and the staff were not played, but honest and we also noticed. read more

We felt good overall, gladly come again and is already recommended. The farewell -gift ( bag with bread and hotel-greeting map) is a great idea - appreciation relaxation to the guests! Also fit us, and it is reason enough for the reunion in engadin, is, that from two nights public transportation and trains free could be used. Bravo! read more
