Good location, around Cologne on foot to explore.
We had a so-called double -room on the attic storey:
Room was extremely small, around the double bed about 50 centimeter capacity, cleanliness reasonable, good mattresses.
Piercing smell of food in the staircase and hallway.
Bath in size a cupboard, mold in the shower head, not very clean toilet.
Very warm and stuffy.
Window to the Rhein with a view of the railway bridge. Lots of pubs and restaurants with loud audience, good audible announcements of the train, according to sleep while having the windows open not possible.
Elevator only went up ... to the mezzanine, remaining steps on foot.
Nice looking Italian restaurant on the ground floor, we didn't try it. read more

Our request for a room in the higher floors with a view of the Rhein was fulfilled, lovely! Everything very clean! The staff are very friendly and attentive, luggage store: not a problem. Sensitive will probably the windows closes at night, as the trains on the nearby Steel bridge good to hear. No buffet-breakfast, but on request everything ( egg dishes) freshly prepared and serves. Muesli, cold cuts, cheese and so on everything is available. Value for money is okay. Ideal for rail, in only about 5 minutes away on foot. The cathedral, the museums, the boats and the numerous ... restaurants and bars are all in direct neighborhood. We were very satisfied. read more

Very recommendable hotel, all staff are very friendly and willing to help. We had room with a view of the Rhein and it was wonderful. The bathroom is a bit small, but sufficient. The rooms clean and tidy. We were very satisfied, can recommend it and would book it again. read more

A address recommendable. As tourists as well as as a business traveler we have the location of the hotel, as well as its rooms with views Rhin very enjoyed. Whenever we to Cologne again we will - as long as a room is available - in this hotel lodge. read more

the hotel is not very large with 5 floors and around 20 rooms. But it was very clean and the staff were really friendly. We had the breakfast used. That could spontaneous morning for 10 euros to book. One can its key from the room the side entrance used, if you at night to the hotel back, since the front desk not permanently occupied. read more

We stayed for a night the Christmas market in Cologne. The room was very big with a view of the Rhine. The bathroom was a bit small, but clean. The staff were always very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful; you could get away from it all so long, as you wanted. The next time we are in Cologne we will stay there again. read more

Fantastic location directly on the Rhein. My favorite for Cologne lights. Room on the highest floor with a great view on the Rhein. Altogether nevertheless relatively quiet. Good breakfast with good service. For disabled not suitable, elevator relatively narrow and bathroom relatively small. Restaurants in the immediate area, couldn't be better. read more

The hotel is very centrally located, shopping, train station, Rhine everything is very close. There is a great Italian restaurant in the hotel. My room was rather small, with flat screen tv, comfortable bed (although the pillows were flat as a fluke). The bathroom was very, very small, could imagine, the strong people may have difficulties. The shower had only a shower curtain, I had a view on 'nice grey' garage, nothing made, was only there to sleep anyway. Check-in and check-out were very friendly. Absolutely recommended for a short holiday. read more

We felt very comfortable in the three crowns. Perfect location, super nice staff. Below is an Italian restaurant, the Cosa Nostra. Directly in front of the door is the restaurant with the outdoor area of the restaurant, with the magnificent weather over Easter until late in the evening we could sit outside, the good food and the one-time atmosphere.
Despite the central location on the main station and the cathedral surprisingly quiet location. Beds comfortable, very firm and new.
If you arrive by train, needs not far to walk to the hotel. We were there with a car, you can ... park for the 15 euro per 24 hour in the parking garage under the Philharmonic Orchestra, 50 meters only about footpath to the hotel entrance, what more could you ask for? Super strong, free Wi-Fi in the hotel. read more

It is a little hard to find because the entrance is not the front of the hotel but in a side-street. Very friendly staff!!! The rooms are very large with folding TV, beds to be moved together or if you want you can from a double bed, but also two twin beds. Hotel is clean! Hotel was angled and in as courses very tight! Bathroom was small, but clean! Hotel has a hair dryer! Hotel is located next to the train station and the cathedral easily head Rhine! We did not have any breakfast had booked, but it is an ... Italian restaurant in the house where the breakfast room is located. read more

i was in July 2010 at this hotel.
I can definitely recommend this hotel and will the next Amphi festival to stay at this hotel again.
Clean room, great view and a very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. The bathroom was unfortunately rather less suitable for two people former. All in all, a very chic Hotel. read more

In a great location in the heart of the old town located small hotel, simply furnished, with good beds. Actually everything was available, what is required for a short stay. The shower curtain does not match the standard. The location of the hotel right on the Rhine (we had Rhine view) is awesome. It was only a few minutes walk to the Cologne cathedral, the musical dome (Hairspray is a really great musical) and the old town with very nice Kleipen. Our room was friendly and bright with a great view. Our request for two more pillows was promptly and the staff was very friendly. We will recommend this hotel. read more

The location of the hotel is very good, right on the Rhine. The train station is only 100 meters away, so you can walk to the hotel. The room was nice and big and clean. On the other hand, the bathroom was very small, it was quite cramped for two, but you can adjust to everything. There was a flat screen tv on the wall, unfortunately the programs were not clean set. We only for the messages, if one in the bathroom and the food. Otherwise the hotel was absolutely to be recommended, the attached restaurant was nice and clean. ... Our room was on the seafront, we had a great view of the river, when you get out of the door, you stood directly on the promenade, wonderful! If we go to Cologne, the hotel drei kronen is definitely our first choice! read more

Beautiful rooms, modern and newly decorated
Rooms to go shopping near the hotel with a beautiful view... Street was a bit noisy... Unfortunately you'll hear the train station which was in the vicinity.
But the hotel is a hidden gem for a family holiday, as it is very centrally located in the old town. read more
