Altogether a very good 5 stars hotels. This was close proximity to surf ' surfmotion', which also is great. Luckily we had 8 days wind and were partly from the buffet held \u263a Really nice hotel, with great service and great food. In the restaurants can 'all in' also dining and beer and wine gave it plentifully at the bar \u263a Utilization was at 20%, so that relaxation really was possible. read more

A better combination hotel water sports kitesurfing family so far, we have not found. It will be very difficult to beat. The 4 theme restaurants plenty variety. The buffet in the main restaurant is also very well maintained and for any taste there was always something for everyone. Huge room with all necessary comfort. Beautiful sandy beach the for walking invites. Great stammgästeprogramm with breakfast on the vip terrace, we are definitely coming again. :-) read more

Very beautiful hotel which particularly by the very friendly and helpful staff stood out. The palm beach is in Egypt certainly not everyday. Also the gastronomy with a very varied buffet and four à la carte restaurant leaves nothing to the imagination. Lovers by two stations (particularly surf motion) well looked after. We felt very good and would choose the hotel again. read more

We had these holidays long before already looking forward to it, were somewhat sceptically, regarding the political problems in Egypt, but we felt neither at the airport Hurghada, on the drive into about 45 kilometer away, palm royale, that a bit in disorder was. The drive with the shuttle bus was unfortunately somewhat too long, since the chauffeur had, before our goal other guests in their hoteldestinationen drive, which the drive to Soma Bay on good 2 hours expanded. For the way back we then had a taxi booked. In the hotel complex we felt from the start in good ... hands and almost like at home. After entering the hotel lobby once the 'wow factor'. The check-in, if you have the language, a bit of a hassle, but with hands and feet is s then and you will be on a german speaking person out. The reception all together very accommodating, the pastry at the check in screened, what a additional safety and you the impression has, in the past have learnt. Think of Luxor. After almost 10 minutes registration at the reception we were our very spacious room accompanied. And if i generous write, i mean generous. The room is equipped with two big beds 140 times 205 centimeter Air conditioning, satellite television, big balcony, einbaukasten with a safe and huge bathroom. The price list was unfortunately in a drawer tucked away, so that one at random which from the mini bar drink, but actually did not know which priced on a going. The we learned later, it was more than disappointing. Price for a 'bottles' (3.75 dl) white wine, believe it or not converted 40 Euro. But who cannot wait and wanted something to drink, punished by life. It is a pity that the alcoholic beverages usurious prices is required. One is well advised, if you wanted to take a book to decide, whether one half, or full board should. At the full board are a few the locals beer and wines (not worse than other) 'gratis' (you pay yes full board ) available. With the half-board you should the provisions good read, which included and what is not, otherwise there is a little expensive surprise. The food is so far so good, although almost every dish korianderlastig is. And is as well known people, the coriander not to the favorite your spices include. The buffet, the selection was, although international, very egyptian style, but as they say, other countries other customs (and food) the presentation in any case again and again a feast for the eyes. ( main restaurant Stella) you feel after the 2. the café Stella ready as a regular guest and one is almost dubious where one to put itself is, everyone waiter the service want only the best. The waiters is in every situation, sometimes a bit too attentive, if you are not look is the plates away and the glass back fully. There would be sometimes less a bit more. But it is egyptian mentality to be. What but not negative to evaluate is. In particular, i would like to mention two waiter very positive, but the, which i did not specifically mention, their job not less well done had. It is Gamal e. d. a. and work-mate Ahmed h., i hope the names spelled correctly to have. The two took its job very seriously and were with very much enthusiasm at work, you felt that your work with a lot of heart performed. The whole ambiance the cafe Stella was beautiful and for us 'westerner' very christmassy decorated and laid out for tourism, but they live from the tourists. The hotel complex is exemplary well maintained and very clean, the lawn green and it is very much value on the general appearance to them. The possibilities different sporty activities to be, is wholeheartedly given. For each and every taste. The complex is also for vacationers, the whole everyday life stress from the way to go want. Anyway, overall recommendable. We will be back. read more

Since some time has families with children great offers. Not always to the satisfaction the regular guests. All of the amendments were quickly implemented. It is nice to see, that the well-being of all guests also restless political location, but no tourist in the hotel a bit it shows in the foreground stands. We had a fully great vacation in the fantastic area the hotel, good service and an admirably, competent care by the lobbymanagerin Marina quid. You takes time all suggestions and to implement. Very surprising for us was, that after several stays, we stayed at the palm royale spent there, is in a short period of time the service much improved. On wishes and problems we were really surprised, how quickly the service was reacted. Even with 100% occupancy of the hotel were the staff in the restaurant very accommodating and professional. The breakfast in the La Terrasse, with a view ... over the whole garden, beach and the palm-lined outdoor swimming because of, is wonderful. The staff already meet desires, before you really has said, because you know actually all their guests very good. The possible reservation of 'all-inclusive' were a bit sceptical. We had to decide, whether this is likely to be harmful. However, 'all inclusive' at the palm royale well solved, because the selection of drinks is very good and strong alcoholic beverages are included in the 'all inclusive' offer not included. The rooms are big and very neat. From the balconies you have a very nice view of the generously landscaped parkland, the palmenbewachsenen beach and the Soma Bay. The long private beach is nice and well-kept beach chairs, umbrellas and windbreaks equipped. The service for towels is very good organized. We booked with all stays in the last time never something from the unrest may exercise, because directly on the red sea had the unrest has no impact. The kite station surfmotion, from Peter Müller is very good run and offers for beginners and for experts brilliant possibilities and very good wind conditions. The team shall constantly on the safety of the guests and is very fast and reliably with the beach- and stationsaufsicht. read more

Wonderful hotel with beautiful rooms and large balconies. Long private sandy beach for walks. Quiet sea. Ideal for swimming. Enough loungers with mats under palm trees. For drinks and snacks there are in the park and on the beach bars. Breakfast in the café Stella or solid in the lounge. Next to the buffet in the main building there are 4 restaurants with à la carte service. The staff are very friendly and helpful and tried to fulfill every wish. read more

The hotel was not our expectations. For the price we would have liked more varied and good quality better food desired. Especially at the all inclusive-services there was a lot of misunderstandings. The beds are uncomfortable. For the price the hotel is rather less recommendable. read more

My excitement for the vacation was huge, so it was in the november in the 5 stars Hotel Palm royal to Egypt. Sobering i had to on the first evening say, that all inclusive is unfortunately not all inclusive means. Not alcoholic beverages, and local beer and wine are included in the price. Other drinks must be paid for. Any time there is a possibility at a buffet to operate, which looked like a cafeteria. If a mass and a unpleasant loud noise level in the 'cafeteria' not is, there is a possibility one of the many restaurants to visit. ... Unfortunately must 2 days(!) In advance a table be reserved. Officially were the restaurants mostly booked, although each restaurant at any time up to half was occupied. A very refined approach for the guests but better at the buffet to accommodate. In the restaurants is a part the dishes in the all-inclusive package, many other dishes are excluding and must be paid. So was every evening the annoying search for meat 'all-inclusive' dishes going on. At lunchtime can only every 20 minutes a beer are served. For a 5 star all inclusive holiday: absolutely unacceptable! The quality the prepared food was good, if the choice of all-inclusive cuisine strong to be desired left. The egyptian staff were always make an effort and none if attentive! For drinks we waited often in vain. It should be the well-being of the guest in a 5 star hotel but it is possible! Instead of in the evening your peace in the room to be able to enjoy, the staff was constantly on the way around Euro in egyptian pounds zutauschen. Peace returned only to the late evening a. Very positively mentioned should be is the clean grounds and the hotel room. The surf station ' surfmotion ' is in the immediate proximity, here you can for example, see how motivated egyptian a 1-a service activities. Very pleasant stay, a beautiful area for surfing and kite surf! For the price the hotel is however not further recommendable, on the word 'all inclusive' should the operators again serious worry about. Fazi without wind for surfing would be stay have become intolerable. read more

For the umpteenth time we spend a relaxing and peaceful holiday in the Hotel Palm royale resort abu soma (formerly intercontinental). Again and again we were inspired over the beautiful grounds with the excellent pool area. On arrival in the hotel we were very friendly and attentive welcomes. After completion of formalities transported our bags on our room. The room, this time a suite, met our needs, as always very clean. What we really liked, is there was a bidet in the bathroom. The room boy met our special wishes immediately and was always friendly and helpful. read more

    The suite was to the sea, very big with a beautiful balcony. The furnishings left nothing to be desired; air conditioning, flat screen tv, mini bar, safe (free) and telephone. The bathroom is with bidet, shower, bath, hair dryer, make-up mirror, toiletries, bathrobes and towels plentiful. Every day there are fresh towels and bed linen. All in all an excellent condition.

    It has six restaurants. We visited alternating the asian, german, greek, italian and lebanese restaurant. Everywhere it tasted us very good and the tables were lovingly decoratively arranged. The drinks came very well.

    The entire staff is attentive, courteous and polite. If something didn't fit, we expressed the competent staff our desire, immediately was taken care of. Large radix complement at the complete staff. Especially pleased us, that a german-language ansprechpartnerin there is. Madam Marina p. is always very polite, attentive and at all times cooperative. It is the good spirit of the hotel and it is a plus for the guest!

    Sportily the guest really great move and surfing, kiting (german kiteschule), horse riding, Tennis play, gym go, spa, jogging at the beach and, of course, in the beautiful pool area for swimming and in the sea. For the younger guests is also very lovingly taken care of. Everything is very well maintained

The hotel complex is huge, the entrance area looks very grand, everything was very nicely arranged. The pool area is really great and the massive beach section is really a dream. The water super cleanly and crystal-clear. Optically I give the hotel 100%! The cleanliness could have been better, but if you're not picky, it is all in all okay ( for example dust balls and empty nutshells from the previous guests under the bed, in the restaurant found one not always a fully set and krümelfreien table). Annoying is, that despite all inclusive all drinks ( for example in ... of the pool bar, when johnnys bar, in the atrium bar and the beach bar) room number and a signature is required. These control for the hotel, what about the day drinks over the tables goes. Otherwise one should not be surprised, if the ordered drink times 20 minutes until it is. Which I not so great found, was, that in the whole hotel on any toilet ( also not in the room), a klobürste was. At 1 time daily room service you had to here from time to time longer some traces respectabilities. As German you in the long term very lonely before. 90% of the tourists are Russian nationality. We have furthermore throughout the week stay no hotel staff met, the could speak German. So best before journey once again the English skills refresh, otherwise, you were quite in a fix or on hand-and-foot communication directed. read more

    Distance from the beach is naturally dependent on the location. We had a beachfront room and so no long way to the beach. In the hotel are a few a few shops and a hairdresser. Cigarettes I recommend outside, the best on arrival in airport, to buy. In the business in the hotel they require for 1 box lucky strike 30 pound, for a pole 300 pound, although on this wraps' for duty-free sale only ' is... At the beach area one which excursions regards on several occasions. Snorkeling, quad, glass boat, A speed boat and so on and so on we booked through sim sim travel a an excursion to see the dolphins booked. Only German guests, top crew, very recommendable!

Hotel already a bit outdated, but all of them try to, are friendly. Room service could be better, not properly, not everything clean, some had forgotten. Pool area spacious, clean and beautiful. General the beverages very expensive, in half board is not water included. A Bottle of 2,40 Euro, small box beer 3,30 Euro, small caipirinha 10 Euro. Internet 4 €per hour in the surfing beach too few loungers. Surf/ Kiterevier only at high tide navigable, at ebb-tide everything is dry and you have a wide hike with material. - I have seen once, enough, we will not ... vacation more. read more
