Great tented camp lodge, which is quite big, but nevertheless with much charm a safari-feeling produces, without the you get the feeling, in a bunker to be. The tents are really sweet and thoughtfully designed, for example in every tent a power strip with plug adapter, a trinkwasserkanne, candle with zündhölzern and a flashlight. The food selection was large, the quality of the dishes good.
The staff is very warm and friendly. read more

As a part of our safari we are amongst others also the cinema camp defendendo. Compared to the rhino vallay and ndololo camp, has however the cinema camp somewhat negative truncated. It is a renovated camp, however we found the tent rather small. Furthermore the camp outside of the national parks amboseli. The were but also the negative points. Apart from that the food was good and varied. There is a pool and the tent clean and tidy! For an overnight stay absolutely sufficient. However in the direct comparison with the aforementioned camps, the cinema camp a bit worse. read more

Good: right on the edge the amboseli national park location. Not so good: the tents were only little practically furnished and fairly cramped. The staff in the restaurant and the bar was not very convincing in dealing with guests. Over the quality of the kitchen debatable, but it was definitely maximum average. read more

In this camp the night in green Safarizelten instead of.
To our great surprise the tents with a toilet, shower and washbasin equipped. In the front area of the Zeltes is a large double bed with mosquito net! The tents are with a simple Bogenschloss hypereosinophilia. Each tent has an additional small decked terrace awning!
You should know, that it at night no electricity, and that the water for showers, toilet-flushing is limited. We are great so seamlessly-not just deserts!
Electricity was only from 6 o'clock in the morning - Flashlight is in the room available! VL a bit more ... time to pack the suitcase include-).
Safe is in the room none available.
Food (lunch and dinner), each in buffet form - food and the quality of the meals was very good - tasted us the breakfast is punctually ready-very important for the safari!
Drink prices full reasonable - a coke 1 euro!
The view from the tent on Kili is amazing-the food nearby! Purely therefore is worthwhile a safari in amboseli!
Staff very friendly and helpful!
Evenings there are still Masai dances-if you are looking for a strenuous day not yet in the bed falls-). read more

We can only agree with all the positive reviews. Camp is located in the middle of the nature-just fantastic. Lobby, restaurant, bar, terrace-all are unique and spacious. Cleanliness and hygiene were absolutely no problem. Simple but good and freshly prepared food in buffet form. Drinks prices were okay. Tent möblirt in the African style with mosquito nets on the bed. Mionus: camp was located outside of the park and the last two kilometer walk to the camp-a disaster. We will gladly again anytime ot to return. Camp is really recommendable, and the atmosphere was great! We spent unfortunately only 1 ... night in this camp. read more

In short just a great lodge. You sit in the pool, the kilimanjaro view and a cocktail. The tents are simply great furnished, no tv or radio but who needs it on a safari. Great bathroom reminds all of the good old times where the colonial had.
A person from our group has in the restaurant with something angeseckt, probably the omelette for breakfast not correctly through. 4 days all openings open. But can already times happen, all other also had an omelet, and had no complaints.
At night were elephants through the lodge gerasst, but were professional of the ... rangern distributed. Electricity is evening switched off (23 hours).
In the general we have this lodge but in good memory. read more

The Kibo safari camp is a relatively large (about 40 tents) complex on the edge of the Amboseli national park, at the foot of the Kilimanjaro.
Since this camp for our stay within a multiple day safari booked (individually book is also possible, in free Leistungswahl), were even lunch, once dinner and a breakfast inclusive.
The guest structure is very colorful.
Contrary to other reviews, we can cleanliness the complex, and 'Spartan' tents't complain. Hey people., you are there in the middle of bushes., if you consider the tents almost luxurious and where else you can relax in the pool ... beach chairs and have a cocktail in the hand on Kili look? read more

The complex, reception and the restaurant are very nice and clean. The food is good and the staff very friendly. Not really appealing the tents, because they very small and narrow, also way too dark and not very clean. The shower consists only of a loose shower tub and a curtain. Despite all, they tried with african flair, the tents to some extent comfortably to make. read more

The Kibo Safari camp is one of the most beautiful camps, we have seen. It is located in the amboseli national park, promises its wide the large animal herds views, ideal for a short safari or as a start for a safari through several parks. The camp welcomes you with a nice atmosphere in the entrance area. Restaurant and bar are nice and clean, the staff is more than friendly, helpful and competent. The meals are wide and fresh, the prices for drinks were absolutely okay. Between the safaris, the swimming pool is the ideal place for a summer, everything ... was very clean. Or treat yourself to a nice massage you. The tents are well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom has everything, what you need. Evenings there was nice and a Masai how. A stay it is worthwhile in any case! read more

The camp is ideal to relax, if you are on a safari. It was only a night there, I am very satisfied former. The pool was functional equipped, that means two beds with mosquito nets, 'bathroom' (= shower, toilet and sink) through curtain separated from the rest of the room. Electricity was only in the evening. In the evening it can be quite cool, warm jacket and for the night hot pyjama is not bad. The food was nice prepared, in buffet form, afternoon coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The camp is about five minutes ... from the amboseli-national park. read more

wonderful Tent camp with incredible Wildnisromantik. The tents are large and spacious and great beds, moreover, shower with hot water, sink and toilet. Furthermore, there is a nice pool and if you wanted and time can enjoy a massage. Everyone has his tent a terrace overlooking the furnishings in the dining and bar areas mandraki jaro, if he shows. Showed us the furnishings in the dining and bar areas in the late afternoon and in the evening we saw it in all its beauty. We had wonderful Fotos forward zebra, Gnuherden, elephants and lions in the background the furnishings in ... the dining and bar areas sagar jaro mandraki. In masai warriors Kibo we had in the evening they danced around the campfire. A view of the starry sky let us forget all round, so bright and many stars it was moving. As a recommendation and serious council absolutely long things to pack for the nights. It is a. Cold. Lots of fun in Kibo read more

Location
On the edge of the amboseli-national parks located. Fantastic view to the kilimanjaro.
Service
Seher service in the restaurant. The service forces stood beside us and waited, that we deal with the food. When we got consulting and dessert came back to the table, was already cleared everything-including our drinks. The attitude was unfortunately at the Dinner and at the Breakfast Sunday for breakfast we were not together from the table stood up, so I could avoid the clearing at the last moment.
Dining
No large food variety, but completely sufficient and tasty.
Prices for drinks were acceptable.
Sport ... entertainment
Only one pool, though a bit cold.
Room
Facilities suitable for walking safari-nights perfectly adequate.
Unfortunately the attitude of the room-staff very next to it. When we went to the early hunts wanted, they wanted to give us the room-boy lose the key. We have explained to him, that we come back, breakfast and then we checked out. When we returned, I could hardly believe it, he has our private property and clothes already in the bag packed and the pool was already prepared for the next guests. It is therefore the early hunts down.
To comment, 06:30 o'clock it is very cold in amboseli, since there is not showers.
Tips & recommendation
Definitely take warm sleep stuff. As noted above, it was very cold. read more
