    We only booked with breakfast. Large absolutely sufficient buffet with a coffee machines, the several sorts to the selection offered.

    The staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Knowledge of German were not always available - with English however not a problem.

    We were during the day always on the way and so we can't comment on that. Because the hotel well visited, was for breakfast always enough mood in the chamber you sat in any case never alone in the room.

Great value for money. We viewed Florence and Pisa. Also to the sea we had only just 45 minutes go. Wi-Fi was free in the hotel and the parking rates are only Euro 3-. Small, but very family-run hotel. read more

The hotel provided us with a spacious, modern, clean and well isolated room that had plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was fresh, well-equipped, and had plenty of space for toiletries. There were also two balconies with fin views. The hotel is situated in a peaceful area near the city centre. They had pleasant and helpful staff that all spoke English. Excellent breakfast that always was kept fully stocked. Never a problem to find parking. It is a hotel worth its price that we gladly recommend to others. The lunch pack they provided for picnics at €18 was overpriced. Especially ... since a superb three course dinner at the hotel restaurant also cost €18. All in all this is to be considered rather insignificant. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. read more

Good hotel, great location, friendly staff,high quality and tasty food. The disadvantage is the reconstruction is located under the window of a historic building, but it's not the fault of the hotel. read more

Very good location for visiting Tuscany. Friendly and helpfull staff with fluent english. Clean and comfortable rooms exactly as on photos. Perfect hotel for family, business trip, for one night or longer holiday. Taste and large breakfast with italian cakes.I recommend Montebello hotel. The hotel was located in one of the most popular cities for thermal baths and treatments in Tuscany. It would hardly surprise you that the average age of the visitors was higher accordingly. But that was no problem for us as a young couple. The hotel was built spaciously and the rooms mirrored that. The hotel was clean, it had its own hotel parking lot (fenced in!) and shone with a perfect service. read more

    The size of the room was perfect. Spacious room, spacious bathroom. The cleanliness was perfect, the age of the room was hard to determine. It wasn't completely new anymore but we had no complaints! The room was air-conditioned and apart from cleaning the room, the cleaning lady also took care that the room was cool and pleasant when we returned, we were thankful for that. There was also a TV in the room. In addition, there were a small safe and a telephone.

    In this hotel we only used breakfast which was included in the price. For Italian conditions it was very satisfying. If you are often in Italy you will know that something like that is to be highly cherished. There was fresh fruit, scrambled egg, fresh sausage and also enough for the sweet breakfast.

    The service was great! Helpfulness, obligingness and friendliness were very important there. The youngest one of the hotel staff was also the most talented one in languages. We had no difficulty to talk with him in German. The room cleaning was perfect. You can't say more about this. There was no reason to complain, we didn't use any further services.

    Whoever would like to have a pure beach holiday, would be probably less happy with 30-40 minutes travel time and 2,50€ duty fees per drive at this hotel. We however selected the hotel because of the practical location between Florenz and Luca. For some city tours the location was uniquely good. It did not disturb us in the week, our somewhat longer trip to the beach. The hotel was located quite near to the city center. In a few minutes one was on the Piazza and had a rich offer of bars, restaurants, etc. Also a supermarket (CONAD) was there in the direct vicinity. To the train station it was likewise a walk of 5 minutes. Whoever would like to go to Florence, should use the close convenient train station. The trip to Florence inside cost 7 euro. Also for excursions into the Tuscan country this hotel was very suitable. The alleged birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci was recommended much and located not all too far away.
