Pg=Q2 FwdGFpbnMgRGVzZXJ0 IENhbXA = The car remains at the gate and you'll be through the desert with its hopefully dust-tight luggage. In' normal' Camp is the hotel before the camp. At the border (if you do not recognize) to world heritage Wadi rum is located on a rock this camp. We arrived in the morning at, asked the go-getting hotel manager Muhamed after ... a Wadi jeep tour. Two other guests had also first nothing booked and so did we. After a good local lunch gibg it from 13:30 to 19:30 (sunset 19:10) on 4 times 4 jeep tour (take water and hot against the wind with)-absolutely fantastic-countryside, atmosphere, desert relaxation! The tent is basic and was by a sand storm very dusty. Own sleeping bag ( at night the temperature to 14 Celsius down, Wadi rum is located on 1000 meters) or hot food for the night and bring mosquito repellent are recommended. The common toilets and showers was clean and functional. In the evening there was again good food ( no alcohol) and beautiful music from a group the campfire. read more

An exciting night in the desert, we did here. The way is very good signposted, parking spaces there are enough. The front desk was friendly and helpful, to the greetings there were tea. And to our surprise was the tent really nice. The bed was fresh, very clean, comfortable and really not eingesandet. The rest of the property, of course, but one is in the desert! In the ( women-) toilets is located a shower. There were enough toilet paper. The whole toilets is in a good state. The dinner there are in buffet form and will be delivered. There ... was typically Arabic food, ate in a Speisezelt, the Bedouins played and sang in addition. Around half ten is the generator off, the light goes off, the starry sky begins to shone. Very romantic! The tents are ( of course ) very badly soundproofed. The breakfast we overslept. read more

Bigger camp with several tents in disi area, just before the area of Wadi rum protected if you like we arrive in the winter, the odds are good, the only guests. Big plus: you are pampered in accordance, with the best tent on the place (toilet and shower in the camp!), great service and a great silence, the even can be heard. Jeep and camel tours are organized locally and are highly recommendable. read more
