Regency palace amman hotel a national chain, but - at least if you the information in the foyer believe - privately owned and managed. Overall 18 floors high on a busy street, it is conveniently located for travelers from/to the airport and from groups as well as visited as locals. The rooms were spacious and big but show, especially the bathroom clear signs of wear. Overall i would recommend this hotel (as first ever tested hotel) not really recommended - priced at the bottom of the 5 star hotels in amman which it would be honest at least one star ... effect to claim and provided to reach agreement. The three interesting factors (service, facilities and food) do not fit into the categories and also concerning the price not adequate. Better service and better rooms we had in the 'four star', 1/2 cheaper 'best western madaba'. Bewertung lesen

The rooms are very spacious and clean, the furniture was in a good condition - the mini bar was evacuated, free water and tea were available, as well as ironing board and iron. The windows closed, not really good and provided no real soundproofing - because of the main street in front of the rooms was rather inconvenient. Existing errors or defects were however very unprofessional repaired. The bathroom however was a more than decent disappointment -80. years make both color, as well as from the material. The sink was rusting through (see pictures), as well as the tuchspender, the paint threw in some places bubbles (moisture?) And was crumbled - the bathroom door streamed on. Shower and sink were poorly set (i see in arab countries than normal) and much worse repaired. Toilet seat and toilet fit color not more, the bidet was sometime around 20 centimeter forward been moved, without that effort would be 'fix'. The bathroom was small and ventilation was available - after 2 minutes of showering the room a steam room. So a bath i already in 3 star hotels in croatia better seen. I have never photos of flaws - but took the camera from. Overall, a very mixed bag - the room itself was spacious and quite well furnished (but noisy), the bathroom however, shortcomings and signs of wear and tear, which i also in package tour hotels in the four-star sector had seen.

We have booked overnight stay with breakfast and in the evening in traders vic eaten - a restaurant, relatively good reviews. The food in the traders vic was actually very tidy, the prices but also. The cocktails could have been a bit more powerful. The service was efficient and polite, even if we cannot help thinking could a bit of 'top-down' to be treated. The breakfast in the restaurant was sufficient but unloving. The coffee tasted terrible, the food was rather unimaginative presented (tomatoes you can quiet with cheese or anything beat and must clean cut), personally i am of the opinion, that the scrambled eggs rather omit should before one the ' pulvervariante' - 'egg station' or similar, as i also from many all-inclusive hotels know i didn't see. The selection and quantity was however very tidy. The whole had about the character of a good-very good all-inclusive hotels, if the bad service would not have been.

The regency palace is a 5 star hotel - in advance, i realise, that the allocation of stars from country to country is very different, but due to our journey altogether with four other hotels compare and the service overall poor. We landed first in the adjacent palace hotel - above the entrance of the regency palace is no sign or similar (see pictures), only the label to top the blockartigen construction know then, that it is the right hotel. The older label is obviously a glass roof sacrificed. We checked in around 15,30 a half-hour after the prescribed time. The room was still not ready, you asked for 10 minutes longer. There were about 50 minutes, in which we ourselves in the lobby parked and any more drinks or otherwise which were offered. The conversation at the front desk was more than scarce, it was not to the standard question, whether our trip went well and we had a good day could have been. After 50 minutes very short briefing without reference to the local realities, possibility pool or otherwise something to use, whether the free wi-fi was one could not say. When entering the room that was clean, but you had the carpet cleaned and directly after the bathing shoes we had wet socks. I know so not. The bags were not independently-cases after half an hour, my 70 - year-old father los you even hochzuholen, which then obviously the 50 minutes stand around 'concierge' encouraged our pastries hochzubringen. We wanted contact with the rental car and asked the front desk about these to call (prefix omit, ortsnummer etc.) - information was, this is only from the room - i have never experienced something like that. The breakfast room on the next day the staff was totally overtaxed with the quantity of hereinbrechenden guests, although packed (i got twice a bag on the head), was 1/4 of the breakfast room ovelooking for a group kept, the during my breakfast never came. The waiters had partially. Holes in the shirts, buttons were not properly closed and the shirts looked at from the pants or were not properly closed. Plates were without demand cleared, while you sat etc. Wireless internet is only available for a fee (5 jd per hour, 10 jd per day) a service, i rather than standard would see - especially for a city hotel. Overall the service was and the staff the predicate -5 star not appropriate.

The hotel is located on one of the main and busy roads in sports city/shmeisani and is relatively close to the airport (about 30 minutes) from the city centre was too far away to walk exploring manner. However, this is a problem, both the marriot, as well as the le meridian have. The traffic in amman knows, looks fast a, that without a long taxi hardly any possibilities to get into town. Since the windows at least in our room hardly any soundproofing provided we have the ammaner circulation 4. floor more than well heard - in other words, it was really loud. The area is also enough, view from our room on the street and several older houses and a abbruchgelände -, and le meridian and marriot. Parks, shops, etc. Are a few to find.

1980 opened, but fully renovated 5 star hotel in the north amman with elegant atmosphere. 251 very spacious, clean room with a fantastic view on the capital. The guest structure was very mixed: both europeans, as well as guests from arab states (emirates, saudi arabia). We were in the context of a 1 - week Jordan-group trip to this hotel and booked half-board. Bewertung lesen

Very large room in the 17. floor with two queen size beds. Elegant furniture, air conditioning was very quiet, mini bar with soft drinks, coffee maker, telephone, tv. Traffic noise from the main road barely audible. Small balcony with a fantastic view of amman Spacious bathroom with bathtub and hair dryer with complimentary toiletries.

We had booked half board and ate in the very chic, large main restaurant al madafa in a very pleasant atmosphere (not noisy). Breakfast and dinner: buffet with a very large selection, the left no wishes unfulfilled. International cuisine, but also local dishes. Especially worth mentioning is the wide range of delicious desserts. Alcoholic beverages were - as everywhere in Jordan - expensive. Smoking is permitted in Jordan in restaurants and cafes allowed.

The hotel is situated in a developing in the north of the capital. Drive from queen alia airport amman depending on traffic about 1/2 to three quarter of an hour Easy access to public transport is tested, since we a coach tour unernommen have.

Highly recommended hotel due to its above average amenities (good four european, not Ethiopian star), its location (plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance) and the quality of the service provided by the operator family. Good restaurant, excellent price/performance ratio. Bewertung lesen

It is not really bad but the hotel is very there comparing what you see all the bathrooms. Room to the street, quite loud. Staff at breakfast partly very nice in the bar is rather annoying. Prices on German four or five-star standard. Three of four days, partly missing all the towels however after complaining and were brought very quickly enough. Bewertung lesen

Older high rise hotel with 20 floors, five star category, but in the rooms in need of renovation. No soundproof windows, therefore, also with closed windows on three sides of the hotel to very loud. A slight problem in the restaurant, the staff, the friendliness sometimes left a lot to be desired, tour groups are easily assessed with disdain. Luggage service not always work. Bewertung lesen
