The Riadh Palms is a mega-hotel offers non-stop (650 rooms ) directly at the beach and nearby the centre of sousse. The first impression is positive. Spacious lobby over two floors. Dining room huge, therefore also nothing special comfortable. The mostly older guests mostly came from Germany, France and Denmark. read more

    We had 2. a big room for 4 people in the new building right on the beach. Two weeks waves and view of the see, the was wonderful! Our first room was in the old building and not so nicely furnished. The view from there on the sea was not quite as nice, because the said building the prospect of the most rooms of the building compromised. In our room there was a toilet and a bathroom with bathtub. There was a double bed and two single beds, so so many space. The balcony was large and had the already described, view (particularly the sunrises are great). We had a tv with 3 german channels (ZDF, VOX, RTL, RTL II and Eurosport).

    In the huge dining room the food in two layers taken (18,30-19:45 hours and 20,15-21:30 hours). We could from the 2. the late-against the morning shift change and were very pleased. But it was at 18:30 o'clock very busy. Sometimes there were 20 people at the soup of. You need but never to ensure, as a fixed seat was assigned. The crush between various stops was worse than in the souks of sousse and the noise level up. Every day there was a wide selection, even if the turkey but quite often in all variants for offer was. Unfortunately, we have the food not so good. From the 3. day we had until the end of the vacation permanent upset stomach. But there is surely everyone else. A Cola 0,19 liter for dinner (we had the half board) cost about 1,20 Euro. For dessert, there were two sorts of ice cream and lots of different cakes. The breakfast was very rich. Croissants with and without chocolate, cakes as a large selection, toast, pancakes, fried and scrambled eggs, jams, honey, yoghurt, fruit salad and so on. There are two vending machines. Here there are three kinds of juices (tasted only the red) and water. It tasted not at all good, but you again and again guests, there are in fact your own 1.5 liter bottles luxe...

    At the front desk and the currency exchange friendly and helpful. Our desire, the room to change, was on the 2. day after brief conversation met. The concierge seemed very strict. All contact person spoke german. The cleaning of the rooms you can't than perfect. In the two weeks was never the glass-topped the nachttischs wiped and dust was never vacuumed. But that is not a problem for us. Were more important the towels, changed daily, and a good bed.

    The pool- and the garden is beautiful. Palms, turquoise waters, small islands and bridges. That was holiday! In the farthest corner one could Uschi and their five puppies visit. There was always something to laugh! Chairs were now at least in the winter sufficiently available. Still walked every morning older people at the pool, for couches occupied and then against noon herunterzukommen. We found that not good, but it fell at this time of the year it did not matter. Coverings you could at the beach get. They were thick and soft. On the way of the pool to the beach you were mostly on camel addressed. On some days was the good man by the swimming pool, what has disturbed us, as we at least here wanted to have our peace and quiet. But perhaps was the also under the point 'animation'... What's also worth mentioning is the swimming pool. It's large and 30° heated. But sits the whole time the lifeguard with his buddies next to the pool.

    The hotel lies at the end of the beach promenade of sousse, the third largest city of tunisia with about 200000 inhabitants. Here is so beach with city break together. In front of the hotel is the endlessly long, white sandy beach and between them a beautiful garden- and pool area with plenty of beach chairs under palm trees. There is real holiday mood. The most rooms are to the sea in directions north and east. Sunny, however therefor also loud the rooms are to the street. From the hotel is you in about 20 minutes walk to the city centre at the entrance medina. In around 10 to 15 minutes walk to the railway station (connections to Tunis, h+r per person 18 Euro in the 1st class, departures in the morning at 7:50 o'clock and 9:50 a. m.), in about 30 minutes to the metrobahnhof (links every 40 minutes in the coastal cities monastir-h+r per person 1 Euro - and mahdia-h+r per person 2,50 Euro). To the neighboring port el kantaoui are we for 5 Euro per tour dangers (definitely not pay more and not on taxameter getting into!).

Overall everything was right. But if it means at 12 o'clock rooms, then, the cleaning lady shortly before 1/2 12 hours and the beds deduct. My husband sat on the bed, it has really weggescheucht. This is unfortunately in january this year also happened. Entertainment for children was so much as in the wrong place. 3 time in 3 weeks was kids disco -1 time only a whole song then was closed. Also in the evening was no animation 3 time per week was a solo entertainer here and played to the dance. read more

City hotel suitable for a short stay. In december, january the environment in a nursing home spend your holiday. Negative is also food in the evening, with 2 hours. What us after many years vacation for christmas and new year's in Tunisia from the place has, we were in the room from the suitcase Valuables stolen. read more

Not recommendable, as to neglected. Staff won't stir a finger without (money -) gift. To lots of guests for the infrastructure (for example restaurant). To time (january 2013) construction /renovation in broad areas inside and outside with noise and stench of paint! read more

    Because of the structure, there were no evening entertainment. The entertainment team was nice, but there are more rum. For christmas and silvesterdiner there was disappointing unfortunately also no animation.

Animation is unfortunately almost not at all available. The evenings can then very nice long. Also the staff for example by the pool could be more service offer. I have never experienced something like that, that i mean beach chair mattress in a star hotel self service! In this time of the year almost only older long term in the hotel. I expected more, it was still disappointing. read more

We, a couple were for christmas-new year's eve from 2012 to 13 in riad-sousse About the food -all in, we can't complain, more than enough and really everything there. Unfortunately the cleanliness still small written there. After 3 time room change, we had a reasonably clean room received. A large family room for 5 people even though we only 2. were. At the front desk one strove really to satisfy us. Very pleasant, friendly felt the people at the front desk and we were given 4 rooms to choose from. With sustainable complaint of us, that room better should be ... cleaned, in a reasonable, friendly attitude, you got us just as friendly again and again and we were satisfied, our room was after. The entire staff was friendly and nice. With a few Dinar tips for the waiters in the essaal, bar, cleaning lady has many benefits ( it should not be forgotten. The staff earned very, very little and is really grateful) We were all-inclusive tourists, but waiters and cleaning lady often from and to somewhat antrinkgeld given, which we again too good came. In this period where we were there, were many rooms newly renovated, that's why other vacationers more luck to possibly have. The outside area is large and nice. As nearby city hotel we. It was okay! For vacationers it somewhat more calmly to have would like, the hotel is certainly too turbulent, not recommendable. We tell us. For the peisleistungs ratio at christmas new year's eve it was ok,7-10 days but would have been adequate. The hotel is simple ageing that's why you should try a renovated room to get. The swimming pool we didn't use, for our eyes simply not clean enough, definitely in need of renovation. The worked to use them have we avoided, the entire bad impression the indoor pool was enough for us. The photos from the indoor pool in the travel brochures, deceive. Unfortunately! Separate spa is ok, so also the offer. The hotel we would book here again, however only still on a week. read more

In d. cold & stressful winter & vorweihnactszeit in the december a short break in the 4 stars hotel'Riadh Palms' in sousse /Tunisia only! Highly recommend. Of course with d. weather large lucky, sun volt in the morning until the afternoon, d. you to d. balcony d. room's could enjoy. Unfortunately d. no late ' langschläferfrühstücksbüfett' returns, that would be at this time of the year appropriate, but one can but later outside d. hotels, in the center volt sousse or kantaoui quite good & cheap to lunch food & find in comparison to hauptsaisonrmonaten also enough clean & discontd& ... even friendly served. Thanks to that currently cheap Euro-umtauschkurses in Tunisia one feels volt that local prices almost nothing at all.! Beware! -many taxi's are currently with manipulated taxomethern on the way, so that one v. hotel n. kantaoui despite taxomether under circumstances between officially displayed 4.500 until 7.900 tunisian Dinar paid, and that the former price d. more realistic f. this way is. The lifts in the hotel itself worked during my stay beginning december 2012 quite good, you just had to know,! How many! It is really! Where! In the home everywhere gives, then one must also not wait. At the moment, in that lower floors starting, d. room key against that here in Germany/Europa already usual ' card-key's replaced. More construction, the now non-existent. Cleaning of the rooms & change of towels start daily quite early, if you that but didn't want to, will that already into better account than before; towels must definitely not daily be changed. Front desk v. german tv-programs satisfactory mostly poor quality possible, but likely, as the satellite channels typically, also volt d. current weather from. Staff everywhere in the house always very friendly & hard, if possible, a in case of any problems to help. In some souvenir shop's outside d. hotels it is recently f. the owner(or employee) important, d. prayer times strictly observed, instead of customers/guests d. hotels to operate (d. shop is open, d. access but temporary visible blocked!) - d. one in germany. future often experience?! What independent v. hotel totally! Annoying! & what d. german tour operator definitely again change need, because only you that indeed may: the long-/ departure volt/n. enfidha airport! The 'old' & much closer, & better to convience airport monastir is not closed down, as there was been brought into circulation. It is furthermore in use, it is also not at all planned & so you would be much more quickly in its hotel in sousse (or monastir or mahdia.) Many airline companies flies monastir, only for german tourists it is currently 'taboo'! read more

With a good value for money and an ideal location this hotel good points. In need of renovation, the sanitary facilities in the indoor pool, door locks, and floor coverings in the etagenfluren. Also the heater in the rooms was definitely not fully functional. Food you can only praise. Staff always friendly, though sometimes overstrained. For all inclusive-guests is the bar in the sous-sol relevant and this was a non-smoking area declared, very uncomfortable decorated, constantly cold and drafty. After complaining the smokers, was the nr zone place but the icy cold and uncomfortable atmosphere remained. For all smokers: smoking ... area otherwise only in the american-bar! There are the drinks prices but totally overpriced - for example tea 2 td, coffee 2.500 td. If you went 200 meters to the left in the adjacent side streets there is the same for 0.500 td. Room with a view of the sea are although it is very kind in the summer however in the winter there has not a single sunbeam. For winter guests therefore rather city views and sun on the balcony enjoy. Furnishing of the rooms is right. read more

It is reasonable value for money the this hotel definitely. Because of the time the only hotel in sousse is, which into question comes, it is quite crowded. For me was the jostling for breakfast sometimes very stressful. The staff were but always attentive and nice, it was always enough food available. read more

First of all the ladies and gentlemen here the bad reviews posted, we were in the same hotel? We are really satisfied and well recovered from the vacation back swept. Hotel is really a bit outdated but clean and friendly. The average age was for our stay with 60+ English, dutch, french everything was represented in this hotel. read more

    The rooms have a somewhat older standard but our rooms were always clean. The cleaning ladies there are corrupt (is also in the info folders locally) the more tips, the better the services were provided. Towels and bed sheets were every day renewed. On the 1. floor we even had lucky the free wi-fi from of the lobby to receive. To the topic meal i can only say: always fresh and plenty of choice, of course one or another food repeats during our stay but we didn't think it was so bad in comparison to some vorbewertern here. To all meals are different fresh stations offered for breakfast for example there are fresh crepé, omelets, fried eggs or scrambled eggs. Afternoons and evenings you will find a grill or a pasta station before. The meal times were also well laid out. On arrival we even had lucky that we at about 0:00 a. m. still which to eat got. I myself have only the people disturbed the on time opening already minutes before the restaurant gathered that you partly no longer adopted. Pool and beach are super put on chairs on the beach or pool was not a problem at all ( free of charge). There is a small but fine program. ( solo entertainer & entertainment). The staff was friendly, helpful and always in a good mood at work. I recommend to anyone with a clear conscience recommend this hotel.

    From the airport around 30 to 45 minutes bus ride. The hotel has it's own beach right on the hotel so easily accessible. On the premises you will find a small shopping center in front of. Supermarket, kiosk, souvenirs and so on on the doorstep. With a taxi one about minutes at the medina (market) plenty of selection of spices, clothes to traditional things be careful here some sellers are very pushy and don't forget to bargain it is worthwhile on its price to exist. Through our travel agency we could various activities (camel rides, catamaran etc.) The people at the beach i would be careful, may be more convenient but sometimes still not assured.

Staff put in the effort, does what is possible. In the restaurant dye the chairs from. 5 shirts ruined. Color is not want to leave. Beach was in comparison to last year rather dingy. Beach bar with the weather to early closed. Responsible too inflexible. However all in all a relaxing vacation. Loud statement the front desk the new manager there all probably somewhat better. We want to time hope. When this happens the hotel is also recommendable. read more

We really enjoyed it. A very good three stars hotel. Disturbing we have the quite loud music by the pool with techno music felt, wishes were not received. The entertainer you could certainly save. A compliment to the kitchen, us it tasted very good, the selection was varied, the best part was the pizza. read more

The stay in this hotel what not the best I ever had but was not the worst air condition goes by season and not the heat out side that what turned off at the end of September so it can be warm at night in October I must say the staff what friendly even though I am a American. ( we would be worried because of that video) and of course a tip once in a while helps, and yes we would stay here again and it was very quiet at night time read more
