The complex is although already somewhat older but still in a relatively good condition. The hygiene is too many good as to designate. We were already for the 3 time here and we will not do so again. The selection of food, no matter wether in the morning or evenings, very sparsely. read more

    Directly at the airport from monastir (the but unfortunately only very rarely approached). The beach is right next to the hotel and also very nice.

Elevator between 1st and 2. floor stick. We (2 adults,1 toddler, and 1 baby) Pressed several times on the waited for rescue. You heard the shrill alarm tone but no one came to help. After about 10 minutes got my mrs difficulty in breathing and the 5-year-old child got panic and started to cry. I proposed several times with the hand against the elevator door even us attentive. Sometime we heard as someone from the outside purely called. As it became apparent later was the a hotel guest. He ran a service strength the just nearby have to be ... shone and jointly hebelten we ( i from the inside) the fahrstuhltür on. And since the elevator as i have already mentioned action stopped, we saw a wall and above luckily a circa 80 centimeter open gap from 2. floor. I gave the aide to only the children and then climbed my wife and i out. This staff familiar to us that it was many a time before the someone stuck/ At the front desk one wanted us choke off and said they would take care of it. The were no little überarscht or shocked the a family almost in their elevator smothered. Seemed not the first time have to be. Never again! Food was bad. Beverages tasted after chlorine. Flushing of of the toilet in the room was broken and was not also repaired, although we had complained-had with a bucket of swill. Tunisia gladly again however this hotel never again! read more

The hotel with about rooms, has a garden area with 3 pool, 2 bars outside (only one open) 3 bars inside (only an open) and a stage the in need of renovation and therefore not used. From the outside the hotel makes a good impression, but inside, the completely different from... The cleanliness leaves everywhere to be desired, on saturday it is in the restaurant and in the toilets... Also the beach and the rooms could be better... read more

    The double rooms are already somewhat older and run-down, however spacious enough for 2 persons. There is a small cupboard for 2 persons and clothes for 2 weeks way too small is... To the small tv welcomes you only ZDF than German channels and a remote control does not exist... ( against money zumietbar ) The terrace is sufficient and even has a holder to dry our clothes... The bathroom is separated from of the toilet... Everything it is very run-down and dirty... The washbasin- and badewannenabfluss walk very, very bad, the water is only times five minutes inside... The air conditioning that is unacceptable, it expires but does not cold... Sometimes it was evenings but only for a few hours on apart from that not at all...

    There is a normal restaurant and a à la carte restaurant... Usually there are dishes typical of the country not or not at all vary... So always the same...     The staff is always friendly and strives very well to speak German, if not one comes well with English... The cleaning of the rooms is sunday..     The hotel lies exactly opposite from the airport monastir, but it is not by the noise from the planes bother us. The center from monastir is about kilometers away... There, there are a small bazaar and a shopping center... The mosque with museum (you can see)... But from of the city was not so nice... 12 kilometer away is the third largest city of sousse... There, there are many shops, a promenade and a large basár in the medina... Sousse is very worth seeing. In the hotel you can still other numerous excursions book... For example quad biking ( very recommendable), camel tour, Jeep safari... And so on.

Never again! You left us at the front desk simply sit and did not pay attention to us. Friendliness is there a foreign word! To longer Inquire and beg we could have eat out, perhaps Because of the children. The restaurant is just awful, as well as the food. In the hotel lobby it is loud, it was totally overcrowded and totally smoky. Apparently there is between the hotelier and the tour operator Disagreements And therefore the guests a drop off, but you will receive the booked Room. The room size cannot be judged, since one it never face got ..., it is therefore with rather badly evaluated, as required a Zimmerkriterium rating. The problem with the hotel is however locally the tour operator known, but one makes the eyes And the people nevertheless from. Us then thank god into another hotel accommodated respectively You had to personally take a taxi, in this neighboring hotel with suitcases to arrive. In July 2012 we were in the helya beach & spa. We were by reviews forewarned, but one makes his own impressions. We can only the other reviews follow. The hotel isn't recommendable, one can only disadvice. Warning, the postcards not in the hotel shop deliver, the never come on. I 4'. In Tunisia been, always in a three-star hotel and they were 10 times better! We have the a week made the best of it. read more

So, first of all the whole holiday was a big disappointment for us. The Hotel was a really nice hotel in the past but not anymore. This should be a 4* hotel, but it is hardly a 3*. The hotel is in dire need of a total referb-paint/carpets/furniture etc. It also needs investments because everything is falling apart and breaks down regularly. The main issue is the hygiene and many amenities are not in use any more (like the beach bar, children playground, football and basketball field, entertainment area). One final warning: if you are ”lucky enough” to travel there ... when a bigger group of Tunesian citizens are accommodated there, you better run away from the hotel. They are rude, primitive and don’t know how to behave in a hotel like this. From the experience I can tell that your holiday can quickly turn into a nightmare. If possible than choose a time during the Ramadan, it will save you from many bad experiences. read more

    Accommodation: The rooms are big with decent beds but I would only class this hotel as a 3* on the accommodation. The rooms need reconstruction. The tiles in the bathroom and toilets were broken; some tiles on the floor have been loosed and broken. The drawers were jammed and the lights were working on some really strange manner. The rooms were in dire need for refurb.

    Food: Food in the main restaurant was somehow acceptable. It was all the time the same, but you could find always something to eat. The problem was the cleanliness (or better to say the dirt everywhere)…dirty tablecloths, silverware, plates. Flies everywhere were really annoying. Food was sometimes undercooked (especially the grilled food). A final warning for those going all inclusive with kids - there is no ice-cream or French-fries for them, which is the first time I have ever gone AI and not had them. When speaking about the snacks during the day, it was a real disappointment … the hygiene was the main issue. The place where snacks were served was dirty, the cook preparing the pancakes was lazy and wore dirty clothes, and he was catching the pancakes with dirty hands. There was always a long queue there, because the only snacks served during the day were: pizza, pancake, and croissants (btw they were leftovers from breakfast).The personnel at the restaurant were rude and unfriendly. Drinks: Drinks were served only at two places: the main lobby bar and the pool bar. There was all the time some issue with drinks. The AI included coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks and local beer. All drinks were tapped from drinks machines. None of the drinks machines are self service. The machines were not working correctly most of the time. Once the machine was broken the soft drinks were poured from bottles (they were warm).They also ran out of beer several times. The AI also included some wine (red, white and rose) and you have been also eligible for one bottle of still water per room a day. For everything else you had to pay.

    Terrible: staff can be rude and unpolite, with no interest to help unless you give them tips. Many amenities are not in use any more (like the beach bar, children playground, football and basketball field, entertainment area. You will get just the basic service and forget about some additional services.

    Beach/pools: The hotel has a very narrow beach with white sand. The water is shallow, so you must walk at least 50 metres into the sea if you want to swim. And there are motorboats, jet skis, bananas, etc..There are not enough sun loungers by the pools, and at the beach (and many were broken). They are all taken by 7.00am. No one in the hotel cares, as many times guests would sneakily give money to staff members to get sun loungers for them (if there were no vacant ones the staff simply took one that was occupied but no one was lying on them at that moment). There are 3 pools there and one pool for children. There are also toboggans but have been operating only twice a day for about one hour.

    Location: The location was fantastic; right on the beach, two minutes from the airport (in fact we walked to the airport easily). However being so close to the airport if you have a 'garden view' this means you are facing the airport.

It has all the facilities wonderful worked. The staff were very friendly, in the various bars less friendly. For a short break the hotel is very pleasant, quiet. The noise from the planes was not to be heard. The beach was very nice. We didn't like the food, was almost always lukewarm and too few selection. On the whole it was a relaxing vacation. read more

For this hotel only book a room with an ocean view. Garden view means constant flight and train (airport 400m, 200m away station), Furthermore, disco noise at night. Animation for children is not recommended. Despite the tip at the animation team brought this (Bobo and Luci) was not ready the level at the daily kids disco down to rotate. Even as an adult had one after the kids disco H�rpropleme. All inclusive is not what all tour operators in. Deutschl wanted. Soft drinks or espresso must be paid. After the many negative reviews about the hotel we were very pleasantly surprised! Beach, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff (cleaning ladies and waiters) are to be particularly emphasized. Only complaint about our stay was the receptionist, the not too friendly. A great, relaxing holiday! We would love to go back again, but don't know, when or whether the hotel will once again be open. As we have learned, the helya beach since 30 October 2010 closed. read more

The price for two persons was under 500 タ, you can't complain. Four days can bear, it is important: the beach and pools are OK. Thank God no Kakar sheets and advise gesehe. Entertainment was OK. read more

I have read reviews in detail. And had a very large fear, that I have chosen the wrong Hotel. Oh yes, and unfortunately it was Sunday the hotel is in a very bad condition. It is just so big to accommodate all the many guests. Evening buffet was just bad. The rooms were not cleaned the whole week. Only the beds with the old linen changed. The room was in a bad condition. For us was the shower faucet was broken. This we lodged a complaint directly upon arrival. However, nobody felt able to fix this problem. We were still ... a very nice holiday as it was the whole time on the beach. You have to make the best of it. My conclusion: this hotel is simply only bad. read more

I would book it anytime again, only five minutes from the airport, but really is not disturbing. Food was plentiful to choose from but just a matter of taste. The room was always clean, and the beach was great. read more

The hotel is nice, the family rooms were very large! Food is something for everyone! Airport noise in any case. Beach and sea were fantastic! The staff was always friendly and helpful! Problems with the food in the dining room and cleanliness! This could be better! And a la carte restaurant one can not recommend!! Pools are partly in need of renovation, but not so, that one could not use! Monastir and Sousse easily accessible by train or taxi! All in all it was a successful holiday! read more

Activities: just too loud and very few. One is on shows, even at the Mini disco, which every evening repeated, not prepared, constantly looking for the same title and she is not. The music was so loud, that the guests left hastily the lobby if you don't help from the entertainers loudly flouted. Would be the loud entertainment you could not been smooth 100% for this hotel. read more

Price/performance ratio was completely OK. With three pools for all stakeholders something for everyone (music, total relaxation or suitable for children). Beautiful, gently sloping beach, room was clean, daily cleaning and change of towels. Atmosphere and furnishings in the bar and restaurant areas different motivated. The buffet was adequate and plenty of choice. Kinds of dishes and silverware were lacking in high season. Entertainment programme poor majority, partly with the average age of the guests also difficult to combine. If you are looking for a quiet cheap holiday and not everything needed for an entertainment team, as well as some ... initiative shows (for example, trips by bus, train, taxi as another trip for example like Tunis, Sfax, Mahdia.) could have a great low cost holiday in this hotel. If you want peace, can treat. Those who do a good entertainment, should book another hotel, since the vime too many seniors (zumindesten at that time) were available. Sporting activities such as beach volleyball-ball, water polo, football was not possible lack of participants, however, Boccia and darts, chess. gladly have asked. read more
