We liked the hotel, especially the location and the good breakfast.
The pool is nice location, could be a bit bigger, especially there is afternoon, if lots of people there want to relax, too few chairs and umbrellas.
Altogether however we were very satisfied. read more

New, international hotel with many floors. Guests mixed in all age groups.
Breakfast really good, varied and also for the european stomach...
The hotel made a very good impression, clean and tidy.
Enough elevators. read more

If you only in Meridien Chianf RAI and then after Chiang May travels as we have seen massive made the difference. It is very run down chilled, the breakfast was like in a station concourse noisy and crowded, with clearly overworked staff. We had booked a studio that had quite shabby was, the big advantage of this hotel is that it is in the middle of the old town, but when I go back to Chiang May then I would look for myself another, the chedi is not go wrong. read more

A perfect hotel, fantastic view, very good restaurants (the Favola is great!), close to the night bazaar/night market and the old town. Most of the sights are easily accesible on foot. Very attentive and friendly staff. Absolutely recommendable! read more

Because the hotel only approximately 4 years old is it was very worn the furniture was very scuffed and the carpets in the rooms (we felt various rooms show) filthy. After a long back and forth we asked for the manager and we were then a suite, the very big was, offered this was very nice at first glance, but also already stains in the carpet and the furniture scratched. I am also of the opinion, the then in a suite of flowers and fruit on the room. The pool area was clean. Breakfast was OK., but unfortunately no fresh ... juice. International audience. Lobby very big unfortunately always loud music in the lobby-noise!. read more

We were in the Le Meridien for the 2. time in chiang may, our expectations again we were fully met! This time the hotel was almost fully booked, to the a were very many asian groups on site, to the other was a huge wedding.
We had again a modern and stylishly equipped junior suite on the 22. floor, a fantastic view over chiang may offered and a huge bathroom with rainforest shower and large bath tub had from the sunset wonderful could enjoy. The central location is ideal bzgl sightseeing, shopping, entertainment, etc.
The hotel has a very nice ... pool area and a great spa.
The service the complete staff is professional and courteous, the breakfast buffet gleaming with large diversity of high quality.
All in all a very pleasant stay in a very highly recommended hotel. read more

Very comfortable Starwood hotel. Central location-but needs to be older than 2 years. It was on my last stay 3 years ago in centimeter.
it has already been a lot written normal deluxe room with a little small. Very good bed and great bathroom with tub and separate shower. Unfortunately carpet, very 'worn/stained' was. Window couldn't be opened. Shock for me:
furniture and doors and 'wood' -linings: it was all in wood decor plastic coated!
beautiful cool pool fourth floor, modern beach chairs with glass table. The whole area no!
Lobby gigantic as well as the breakfast! read more

very modern 5 star city hotel in a great location. The hotel lies right on the night bazaar (one of the highlights of Chiang's May) and about 10 minutes away from the old town. The hotel itself is very modern and spacious. Very beautiful Lobby. The hotel was opened in 2008 and features 384 rooms.
the breakfast buffet is in my opinion very good and diverse. Our room was very well equipped ( very modern) only point of criticism a bit too small. The room had a great view of Doi Suthep mountain where the famous Doi Suthep temple and ... the royal Palace are. Price performance ratio excellent and much cheaper than Bangkok, Samui and Phuket. All together highly recommendable. read more

we had an executive room on the 17. (SPG) floor
unfortunately there was problems the shower, so in all floors above the 16. The showers either very hot or very cold ran.
since this problem could not be resolved, we were after a longer discussion in the 'move'. 12. As compensation we were given access to the royal lounge, which otherwise only the platinum members and the suite users is reserved.
otherwise the hotel was very clean, the staff extremely friendly and competent and the location is can't be beat! read more

the best hotel, I have ever stayed in. Had a suite on the 15th floor with a view to the east. The hotel matched the high Starwood standards, it is a great executive lounge, a beautiful pool and a (pay) spa area, where I have a excellent massage received. The hotel lies in the middle of the night market, but the rooms are so quiet, as I have seen in a hotel. If I return to Chiang May come, then only in this hotel! read more

In the Context one tour I had a stay in this hotel decided. The junior suite was very stylishly decorated, with two TV and a wonderful bathroom with great view over Chiang May. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Chiang May and surroundings offers a perfect Mix of culture, great Scenery, interesting possibilities for excursions (of temples on elephant ride up to action), delicious food and various backgrounds opportunities for shopping.
all around a successful stay as part of one Thailand tour in a very pleasant hotel. read more
