Hotel Canaves Oia^{(5 stars)}

Room in part of I cleanly and maintained, bed unfortunately somewhat small, in place of a cabinet only in a rock cave attached clothes rail. Bath very maintained and cleanly. Refrigerator, sowing TV, telephone and safe available.

The Frühstücksbuffet is outstanding and leaves no desires open. If necessary the breakfast is supplied also to the room. Dinner is possible in the hotel-own restaurant, however makes too expensive and only with difficulty satisfying (elevated French Italian kitchen). With that variety at taverns and restaurant in close convenient center should be fallen back rather on that.

Staff is friendly and outweighs English-language, isolated also German-language. Room very cleanly, two times daily towel changes. Laundry service on request possible. With our characteristic “wedding journey” was not dealt unfortunately. Whether it concerned an error between travel agency tour operator and hotel, is not clear (none wants to have been it).

In each part of the hotel a pool (part of I small, part of II largely) with beach chairs, sun screens and towels is present. Hotel plant is only for children starting from 12 years (many stages; Plant is built into the rock), no animation, therefore very calmly. WLAN available.

Because of the local edge of Oia been, to the center about 5 minutes to foot. In the place good purchase possibilities and a multiplicity at taverns or also elevated restaurants. With the rented car, in addition, with the bus island can be explored well. Distance to the next maintained beach in the car about 30 minutes.

The cave dwellings are simply a dream, equipped with antique unique pieces. Very in good taste furnished, junior suite consists a kitchen line and a living range of a very beautiful bedroom, 2 baths, equipped with television. If one comes from the bed, one has directly a view of the beautiful Caldera.

Canaves Oia I does not have animation, which is very good a small pool. Canaves Oia II has a large pool, which can be attained however only by means of the main street and then by means of an elevator. Us the small pool was sufficient. Very privately with service at the pool., comfortable beach chairs with towels of the house and sun screens. Simply relaxing.

Very good situation at the local beginning of Oia to go up to 80 stages but very well attainable and central. There is taverns, supermarket and the beautiful buying race paved with marble in the proximity.
