Hotel Delfin^{(2 stars)}

As mentioned above, corresponding to the price even very good;

Breakfast was good, apart from coffee - Fresh rolls, scrambled eggs with small sausages, sausage, cheese, juice, fruit, etc. was all fresh available (the usual standard) dinner always good selection and enough alternatives;

The staff was very friendly with the exception of the a bit older, blond lady at the front desk. The has never see smile and then everything is ok to the cellar to laugh. But otherwise all were very friendly and tried hard, which in this huge hotel complexn't simply because the personal but a bit sets.

For a 2 star hotel was rather good, had stayed at several 3 star hotels in Italy, which could have been opposite the hotel Delfin deserve one star only. The rooms are not that big, rather small, but this was unimportant for us, since you mostly not on, - and if you then for sleeping or on the balcony with a sea view. The rooms were with the exception of the bathroom (shower) renovated, very clean, daily cleaning.

About a 3 minute walk to the beach, - Shopping possibilities on the adjacent campsite (approx. 5 minutes walk), table tennis, mini-golf, or otherwise usual Strandfreizeitmöglichkeiten are available. About a 10 -minute drive into Porec, the bus hourly directly from the hotel (cost 14 kunas is almost 2 Euro per person); also there was the possibility with the speed boat to do a day trip to Venice (330 kuna - about € 50 , - per person), which we were disappointed with the exception of the Schnellbootes. Typical Italian, - only a brisk rip off very rude, ....... - We wouldn't book this tour.

Very small and very loud. The balcony was very dirty. The cleaning staff does not even a see a mop, so don't be tempted up. Tiled floor always only to vacuum makes little sense. We enjoyed the floor even swept. It was also no consideration for a nap despite asking my 1 year old son.

Despite the many guests, I had never had the feeling that the dining room would be crowded, since you are on two/three buffets (but not always the same food) had to offer could use it. The prices for the drinks were not overpriced and through a constantly running around Getränkewagen also applies immediately. The selection of food was kept within limits, but is sure everyone something even when it because of its choice then only a salad and Obsttag.

The staff at the gastronomy was always friendly. The front desk staff is less. Felt that they just don't want to be bothered and responded to complaints very petulant. The housekeeping staff was completely overstrained. (or want? ) couldn't communicate.

Beach chairs at the pool were free; the ones at the beach). There was an Internet corner and a small corner with pinball machines and slot machines. Activities and sport was not used. On the beach in the immediate area of the hotel there were very good children's play areas, which was cleaned every day and taken care of. Unbearable was the daily live music by the pool, which 21h00 until 12 :00 pm in extreme noise a handful tried to keep you entertained. Our room was luckily not directly to the pool, but of sleep was impossible with the windows open. With the windows closed you had the problem that the room without air conditioning are and the heat to sleep is an added bonus.

The hotel itself, despite its size (750 rooms) is very clean and despite many vacationers appearance is at least the premises of the hotels, not crowded. The pool area (there is only one pool), which we (my parents, my 1 year old son and I) wasn't used, as there are no kids pool, was however always over-crowded. However, the hotel is very close to the sea and has a very large (public), clean and well maintained beach with many shaded spots with lots of trees. The nationalities I would in about 50 % Italian guests, 25 % Hungary and 25 % rest of 45 minutes. Hardly elevators and many steps hamper the life with small children and for disabled people easier.

To the town of Porec is a few kilometers away. But there is a trolley, which runs about every 30 minutes to the city center. A nice beach promenade invites evening for strolling, and is in 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Excursion possibilities weren't used by us.
