Great Hotel, in a good location

The hotel is located between Plaza de Catalunya and placa d'espanya. The hotel was good with the aerobus to reach from the airport (station Urgell). The metro (hospital Clinic station) was about five minutes/two blocks away. The area is very well maintained and nice. There was on every corner a restaurant/bar, a bakery or a possibility for shopping. The hotel made inside and out a very good impression. It is very modernly furnished and clean. The staff is very nice. On site you could get a good breakfast buffet for nine euros to book. Furthermore, there was wireless internet access ..., an Internet corner and a charging for various mobile phones. Highly recommended is the hop-on, hop-off tour touristic-with its three routes for 23 euros. read more

    Also the rooms are very modern furnished and clean. Also with the room service we were satisfied. Showers in the bath tub was not my cup of tea. A correct shower would better been. Klobürste searched one in vain.

    the hotel is located in the center and it is nevertheless very quiet location. You can take open window sleep. 5 minutes to the subway. On foot cIRCA 3-4 miles to all sights. since we from the airport and back to airport by taxi risks are we can't write about the connections with public transport.

    Room was very nice and large. We were on the top floor and it was nice and quiet. There is also a mini bar, with slightly basic we get our drinks. TV channels only in Spanish, a few English channels would be welcome.

    It is located within 25 minutes. to the Ramblas. The metro (Hospital Clinic) but only a couple of minutes away, with the one was in 10 min. There. Plenty of bars and supermarkets, with food and drink is so well looked after.

    Rooms are not very large but very clean and tastefully decorated. The furniture is new. Amenities include flat-TV, minibar, balcony, individually controlled air conditioning, safe, and telephone. Note that not all rooms have a balcony - just the room to the street. Beware - for sensitive this could be a problem!

    The staff is friendly and helpful, speaks English and German however. This applies to the housekeeping staff. Cleaning is very thorough. Bed sheets are changed every 2 days, bath towels every day.

    The hotel is not right in the center of town, yet is quite centrally located and by bus or metro is just a 5-10 minutes in the city - Plaza de Cataluna etc. distance from airport by taxi about 25 minutes and the Sonntagstarif we 27 euros. Near the hotel are hardly any shopping possibilities, but right next to the hotel on Calle Mallorca is a bakery get tasty croissants or other sweets.

The hotel Zenit Borrell is a classic business hotel and is pretty centrally located (a few minutes walk to the metro station). The room is very small and is not for a longer stay in-room use only. The bathroom is very large in comparison to the room. The only downside, there was no toilet brush. Very suitable for a city break. To eat or restaurants I couldn't say anything as we went out in Barcelona us. read more

A 4 star hotel in this cheap price, very well situated in the center of Barcelona, the will you find. But with the Zenit Borrell we ended up a complete success. Top value for night. It is a modern city-hotel for business people and tourists who plan a city break. Highly recommended. Not too large (73 double room with bath/WC - modern decor, even the flat screen tv). This is a newer hotel or maybe also an older, which was totally renovated and a top impression. The cleanliness is showing upon entering the hotel. They provide only 1 night on ..., the breakfast buffet for Euro 9.00 per person and day in addition to book. It's worth it. Guests of various nationalities we encountered them, from young to old. Good guests mix, pleasant clientele! read more

    The guest rooms were a bit small but very nicely decorated. Contemporary decor, and even had a flat screen TV. Unfortunately you could only Spanish TV-channels. The bathroom was a little more spacious, bright, well appointed and comfortable. We had a guestrooms Hof-side, which seemed very dark. What you completely renew needs, is the lighting. I don't understand why so often hotel gym, the insufficient lighting. At this funzeln is reading this almost impossible! A shame!

    We used the restaurant for breakfast only. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, the choice and quality a 4 star hotel. The breakfast (head waitress)) was somewhat in stress, so that the guests always had to wait a bit. A service more could solve this problem easily. There was also a pool bar and a nightcap after the stressful highlighting relished;

    Very friendly and competent staff at the front desk; English as well; the breakfast lady was a little overwhelmed, but also friendly. We were satisfied with the room cleaning; there were no complaints/complaints.

    Barcelona is very large! Anyway, you can say that the Zenit Borrell in the town center, and very good connections. Distance to airport (BCN) 20 km). It offers a taxi transfer (black and yellow). Cost about 25 Euro/20 - 35 minutes, depending on traffic. Distance to the fair: 1km; the center of the city (Plaza Catalunya) can be reached by METRO in 10 minutes. There were shopping possibilities in the surrounding area. This is within walking distance. I am back separately on the excursion possibilities.
