Older hotel in santa ponca was with about 200 rooms, the two buildings. Hotel with a somewhat dusty 70 - years-charm and wishes flying in the guests area. Pure vacationers-tourist hotel. In october many older guests, mostly from germany. Also a few dutch, french, belgian. Free wi-fi network in the public areas is available.     Our room was appropriate in 4. floor in the back building. To get there you had in the main building with the elevator in the 3. floor. On a connecting bridge one arrived then in the rear building. There one arrived then take another elevator to the 4. floor in the back building to the room. Tip: plan plenty of time, if you entered the room. A little sense of orientation in the early days is also advantageous. The room was renovated and in good condition. It was clean and with a spacious bathroom. It was the 4 star standard fully and was located in the rear of the building also very quiet. The air conditioning worked very quiet, and efficient.

    We had only booked bed and breakfast. Therefore we can only the breakfast in the large dining room rate. The breakfast buffet was ok. Selection and quality were a 4 star hotel adequate. You shouldn't expect more. The staff was, as mentioned above, friendly and fast. The dining room was also for noon and dinner use. The salt and pepper shakers on the tables were sticky through various handcremes, suntan lotion, and so forth. The seats and the tables in the bar should be urgently repaired or replaced - so not. The outdoor area the bar is too small for the hotel. It is on the one side of the table tennis table! And the pool menu. On the other side is constantly 'traffic' from the pool to the bar. Quiet and relaxing place to sit in the outdoor area is different! The staff are also here very friendly and tried hard.

    The staff speaks the most important foreign languages and is very attentive and very friendly. The room cleaning was without faults. Value were not in use. We had no complaints, but references to the directorate.

    Fitness studio, sauna, indoor swimming pool and so on. Not used. The outdoor swimming pool is located between the street and building. The placing and chairs around the pool are very limited and very tight. There were not for all of the beach chairs cushions available. The existing cushions looked actively use and they should even thoroughly cleaned. A 2. small and secluded pool is located in the back building, which we did not use however.

    The hotel is located in a quiet location on a pass-through road. If you left the hotel to the right leaves start immediately the many shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, a tourist infrastructure of the town santa ponca was. The public beach is about 500 metres away. As well as the central bus station of the resort. Café katzenberger and the king of mallorca are also just a short distance from the hotel. The location is really top - not in the middle of the hustle and bustle - but close to it.

The hotel is actually quite convenient and well equipped, especially the seating of the lounge (bar) we found nice. Although not nice was, that we in the first night our booked room with balcony got, but only a 'budget room' with a view of the already often mentioned wall. But that seemed to the normal handling of the hotels to belong, every day we were able to other guests the same hear and see. As a compensation we got a bottle sparkling wine on the room.     Size and equipment completely okay, even with refrigerator. However very badly soundproofed rooms, from all sides you get the conversations or the bed and movement extremely with.

    Well, the food: there was actually something for everyone, starve if nobody, but somehow missing i personally always a couple of things, and it is fresh rolls for breakfast or more local things (except the 2 sorts of sausage for dinner). Mallorca is for me, garlic, olives and fresh bread - sadly wrong here. And sausage i will now not really food. From the drinks there was nothing to complain about, we had universe inclusive and got the whole menu available - and with high-quality premium brands!

    The pool looked from above nice, but if i am by the sea, i do not. It was the view of the matresses are not very welcoming, they were very dirty. The entertainment was limited to nightly music and comedyunterhaltung, which for us but was okay.

Come straight from the vacation back. Hotel was a disaster. Except for the double room, this was quite large and very clean, we could not recommend this hotel It was coming and going in the hotel, one felt like at the train station. The hotel staff were totally overstrained, had very bad mood and had no fun at your work - our impression. We come to visit Mallorca every month for 3 till 4 days and 90% of the time we stay at the bahía del sol as we find this hotel and the staff to be one of the best available. The romos are very clean and its a nice atmosphere. Bewertung lesen

Large tourist hotel with around 200 rooms. I was in a renovated room in the annex, which for me as an individual was absolutely sufficient. For a double occupancy i thought it scarcely. The room was clean, the service worked perfectly. Large drawback is the clairaudience of the room. Any noise from the room next door will be clearly heard.     I have a double room for single use occupied. This was in the annex on the 4. floor. That means other than this, there were only three other rooms. Apart for the poorly sound proofed walls of the room was there (in comparison to other floors) very quiet, since little traffic and cleaning staff in the morning rather came later. The room was for me alone big enough, for two people, i would somewhat cramped feeling. The room has a small balcony (fits a small round table and two plastic chairs on it). The bathroom has a bath and seemed clean and enough from the size. The room was recently renovated, as was evident. The safe could only be used for a fee, a refrigerator is in the room and air conditioning. The room can be heated.

    There's a restaurant for the main meals. In addition to a bar. The quality of the food and drink i would than average and not very good. The preparation was very good, i. e. spices were mostly. Not used. Vegetables was only in the pan and a little cooking. The size of the buffets i thought in relation to the number of guests quite cramped. In the evening there was in the dining room often congestion and longer waiting times. The buffets after a while unappetizing, meter meter after was not sufficiently then looked, that it was neat. The quality of the food could be improved without larger circumstances.

    The staff was predominantly friendly. Especially at the front desk one was always friendly and accommodating treated. The staff at the front desk have good german. The cleaning of the room, in which i was, was immaculate and there was no reason to complain. The hotel is open daily a doctor. With complaints professionally handled. A small lack in the room with me was immediately repaired. In the restaurant there was individual very friendly staff, all can however not of all be claimed.

    The hotel is in Santa ponca was, a touristic very erschlossenem town, about 20 minutes away from the Palma Airport. Easy access to public transport is good, purchase possibilities are close to the hotel. The beach is about 200 meters away and is within walking distance. If you like it, by just hotels to be surrounded, is in Santa ponca was just right, otherwise, this is rather annoying.

The hotel seems at first sight quite clean, the staff were mostly nice, the bar and common areas are very 'quaint'. The beautiful beach is only a stone's throw away, great bus connection. The small town is nice, there are plenty of bars etc. Now to the hotel itself: The room is (superficial) clean and nicely decorated, though a bit small and extremely clairaudient. From pinkelnden neighbors up to 'fun' activities of the other guests you could hear everything, which especially at night awake kept. The beds were a disaster, backache all-inclusive! We were not in the main building, but ... in the next building, which through a long corridor has been achieved. The pool of the neighboring area was not very clean and there is also no bar or like. In the main building there was also a swimming pool with a terrace. Here everything was very clean and tidy. With the closer look, you saw but already some flaws, for example extremely rusty spots in the pool area. To the guest structure it is to say, that it was mostly german and english guests were.     To the rooms i have already above written. It was for a 4 star room was quite small, but still sufficient straight. The equipment was correct, the air conditioning worked but not more and was actually only a keimschleuder, what one to see, was really not nice. The toilet was cleaned superficially, under the edge one saw however already deposits - but i always my disinfectant hygiene spray along and desinfiziere everything. The fridge we didn't use it. The safe costs 2 0 € laution and 3 €per day. The balcony was small and berauschender view, but ok.

    We had all-inclusive and well, here is the large point of criticism at! The positive: at the bar (the only ones in the hotel) was very nice and mostly also quickly (there weren't many guests there) served. The drinks were mostly delicious and local alcoholic beverages was not saved. The cocktails and the iced coffee were already in plastic bottles filled up and were not locally mixed. If you wanted a sangria, so disappeared the bartender for a short time in the kitchen and came in seconds with a glass spülwasserähnlicher red liquid with a few bits of apples. Sometimes knew the bartender not what the other did. So, my husband once wanted a ice cream order, but none with the justification he was from ( öhhm, yes). After 3 minutes, another guest and got a iced coffee. Of al i then a ice cream with another service ordered, wanted me to make, to the head barman started loudly something to bubble and i then no iced coffee should get and then but... With chocolate instead of vanilla ice cream - strange! Now to the largest point of minus and the for a 4 star hotel: the food was partly unenjoyable! The selection at the all inclusive snacks was ridiculous - there were sandwiches (if at all), the coffee a cake and old cookies. Breakfast: Old bread, smudgy sausage (2-4 sorts), nutella there was from day 2 not more. The cheese (2-3 sorts) had its best days already behind itself. 2 kinds of jam, yogurt, pineapple out of a tin, a couple of sliced tomatoes and unsightly melon. The 'hot' breakfast was at any time cold, even the new put scrambled eggs were cold! The pancakes were like the fried eggs were freshly prepared, but tasted strange and were thanks to missing plates in shortest time cold. The juices... Well, stop hotelsaft. Coffee... That was rather rinse water. Starting from day 3 i had to change tea, because i stomach intestine problems thanks to the food got. Lunch: we only 1 times and was similar Dinner: Everything was cold and partly unenjoyable. Carelessly prepared plates with cold roast, cold chips, mushy pasta, brown become celery salad. No local specialities except a indedible reispampe, the paella should be and black pudding! Also here participated again the choice of food poor: one day there was only veal (i eat no calf) - roast veal and kalbssteak, then there was pig's trotters, zungengeschnetzeltes with the old sausage from the previous day, lebergeschnetzeltes, oxtail etc. You wanted already nothing more food. Even my hotel food-emergency plan (fries and/or noodles with ketchup) fell into the water, the ketchup mostly empty was (almost every guest need much ketchup, for the meal to get down) and the fries were cold and probably already a bit older fat fried were. For the pasta, i had the impression, that the only just heated and thus completely runny were. The name of the food was quite bad, for example, there was canelloni with a green-grey breiartigen fill - even with ketchup not very tasty! Drinks... There was an all-inclusive drinks vending machine (for lunch and dinner only) and the drinks were usually empty. Luckily there were enough wine and beer. Dessert: The cream was mostly good, which finished and bought only thawed was (cake, windbag) was delicious, the rest... I am normally a total sweet-toothed person and love the dessert buffet, here i usually skipped. One day we were probably wrong, since we didn't recognized, that a diagonally then established chair a barrier means. My husband was quite loudly from the waiters sufficient, that we do not sizuen could have been. Err, yes... Tasted bad, cold, no choice, no seafood (i expect this from 4 stars) - and if, we would probably not eaten. Us was after the food always evil, which was also from the rather modest quality shows. I now wonder the hotel, is your food always so? If yes, then we will surely never again or there were in the last week just the rest, the previously no one wanted? As already said, i live also times a week from fries and ketchup, if it should be and do not expect michelin kitchen, but that was not! Oh yes, the best meal of the trip was the sausage in the café katzenberger (actually sad, or?)

    In the summer there are certainly more and better entertainment. I am not the fan of it, so it was not so bad, that it hardly any entertainment. The animator, the 2 times there was reminded but at a drittklassspilunkenspieler. There were couches for autumn many, in the summer, the but never from. Also the pool is very small. The beach was nice and clean. The beach chairs cost 4.50 per person. And umbrella probably also times - very expensive, but we needed no umbrella.

    To the beach it was about 200 meters down the street, to the airport arrived within 45 minutes over the highway. To palma took the line 104 - the took but already an hour and a half, since all places removal. The bus is very cheap -6.70 palma back and forth per person. Night life at our time was not really given, but we didn't want. In the summer but it is certainly busy.

    Large room, large bathroom, large balcony. Unfortunately the balcony door didn't lock (was broken). The pillows was hell. What worse i never sleep. Apart from that, everything was clean. Minibar for all-inclusive unfortunately not filled. Fridge was very loud.

    Booked all-inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner adequate. Every day there were different dishes. All were tasty and nicely presented. Unfortunately, there was on the last day no lunch, and no snack more. This was unfortunately not communicated. The hotel seems at 31,10 (our departure day) the bulkheads close to make.

    In the middle in the beautiful town santa ponća with its numerous restaurants and souvenir shops. Sandy beach in 5 minutes walking distance. If interested: the café katzenberger is only one away stone's throw, the bistro of jürgen drews is about 10 minutes walk away. Bus connection to palma or antratx very good.

The hotel has 209 rooms. It is general in a very renovation-needy condition. The interior/furnishings are a bit dated and worn and worn. One has partly before disgusted on the one or the other chair to take (especially in the bar). A small part of the room is already renovated, further zimmerrenovierungen, but including a reorganisation of the reception and the restaurant, for the coming winter planned. The cleanliness in the public areas was still ok. Wlan was in the lobby and partly also in the restaurant/bar available free of charge. The guests were mostly german, a few french and ... english.     After twice change the holiday could more or less start. In the first room we booked on a concrete wall with parking lot. In 2. room was the wall behind the bathroom damp and musty, and the whole room unpleasant musty and smelled like mold has. The 3. room was then so far in order. The bathroom door was for not close. The air conditioning is not been manually adjustable. Refrigerator without content available, also, tv with some german programs. The mattresses may with a mattress covers hygienic before bacteria and sweat be protected, since only thin sheets are available. There were too few sockets available. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The mandatory hair on the bed, i had however. The safe cost extra, we have not used. The bathroom was large enough, the bath with shower curtain - which of course cuddle came - but nevertheless a clean impression. The shower head had certainly seen better days (needs be entkalkt). Also the ventilation or the deduction there was not really working. Apparently gotten only guests of the older generation, the one star of the 'walk of fame', (i. e.. More than 15 times were staying at the hotel) when we a decent room with a nice view. Moreover, only a minority of the guests in the enjoyment, that their bags brought to the room.

    Here we were very disappointed. We always visit 4-5 hotels and never had such bad food. This feedback we gave also at the front desk further, but we were just faced, that the largest part of the guests with the quality and selection was content, but hardly conceivable is. General is also the dining room for the number of guests too small. One had in the evening always with absperrseil wait in front of the restaurant, until a table was unoccupied. No matter, whether you 18,30 or 8:00 p. m. to the restaurant is. The bizarre was, that while the guests on a table for dinner wait, already some tables with breakfast table-ware were covered. We had our table lunch even even ceilings, although still over an hour meal times, as the waiters already with the setting for the dinner were employed. In the restaurant the furnishing is not uniformly, this means there are numerous different stuhlvarianten, all clash and no good impression. Unlovely decoration, in particular the already often mentioned vase with sand and bambusstengel. Nice is something different. On the buffet is everything quite narrow and small. Also the beach is not far away, about 5 minutes on foot. Some supermarkets and cafes/restaurants or the centre of Santa Ponsa are also nearby. The Café Katzenberger is only a few steps away and the bistro of Jürgen Drews is situated in the center directly at the roundabout. Both are well worth a visit! A bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. These line 104 runs after Palma, but with a journey time of about 1.5 hours (about magaluf / Palmanova). The bus station for the bus 102 with the shorter route via the motorway to Palma (travel time about one-half hour) is located at the roundabout in the center of Santa Ponsa, and is also in a few minutes walk to super attainable.

    The hotel is very centrally located and is just a few metres from the famous 'Daniela Katzenberger café ' away. Santa Ponsa has very nice shopping streets with many cafe's and restaurants in the upscale price range. The beach is about 200 meters away. There are very good transport connections, for example to Palma (30 minutes), peguera (15 minutes).

    Nice, simple and clean rooms! Unfortunately, at the bathroom cover mould formed, what we us however not largely disturbed. For this good price you just can't be picky. The beds were very clean and each morning well done. Even a small balcony there was, even though we hadn't extra had booked.

And as already often by other vacationers here at Holiday check ... with the hotel Bahia del Sol weighted was, we were for the first night due to overbooking into another hotel transferred. Luckily we had a car for the whole week, so we to the other hotel could, because they offered us neither taxi nor a hotel shuttle or other, and we have been through Santa Ponsa must run, with luggage understand itself. The alternative hotel ( Hotel Playa de Santa Ponsa) was unlike Bahia del Sol only a 3 star hotel, which, in our opinion too high rating. Our room for the night was small, dirty and broken (stains on the carpet, on the floor, the head of the bed and the bedding itself), it was the room right on the street on the first floor.     Our room was more than fine. It was large, spacious and clean. The view was very good. In this hotel there were but also other room, much smaller and with a view of a concrete wall. If your looking to have a great holiday then I would book in to this hotel as you will not be dissapointed. The staff are so helpfull and can´t do enough for you and the two pools are the best i´ve seen in the years i´ve been going on holiday. We are very happy with our stay at this hotel. In particular, the restaurant and variety of food (especially the lamb, rabbit and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables). Our room was very clean and modern, which was very important to us. The only issue we experienced was the loud shutting of room doors due to the automatic mechanism. This could be resolved with some adjustments, or total removal of the mechanism. Despite this, we are still very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Bewertung lesen
