Hotel and the room good. Package was exaggerated. Included were the gruyeres passports and fondu, costs chf 199 per person. The room without these additions would be 185.
The passport there are a lot of benefits, the cannot be used.
In our opinion completely is insufficient the reception, the bedienng and the food. The welcome drink was already the fondu serves! The fondue was less than expected, no further inquiry, whether a supplement the aim is.
For chf 23:00 per person a much to high price. I think foreign tourists will be massive ägern on the price.
On 2. ... the evening we had a plate with kohl and ham/bacon for chf 26:00. also here in our opinion massively overpriced. We think, that foreign guests always less willing are so much money. read more

Would recommend this hotel it is typical Swiss and run by very friendly staff. The location is excellent and the food is outstanding. The family room with huge along with the bathroom and very quiet, our family really enjoyed their stay. read more

We arrived about 9pm by train and walked up the hill to Gruyeres. The hotel is located just as you enter the town. The owner checked us in and then seated us for a wonderful fondue. The rooms were larger than we expected and the beds were firm and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. We had an added bonus of the "Historical Pageant" was being performed in French that night in the town square with actors and an adult choir or 50 or so + a children's choir.the owners were very hospitable and made us feel at ... home. read more

A very clean Hotel in old building with nice rooms in rustuikalem style. An excellent food variety with traditional Swiss and local dishes. To be highlighted was the friendliness of the entire staff. read more

very friendly staff. Uncomplicated dealing with guests.
Room and bathroom was very clean. Decor old but functional.
We would recommend it and stay there again.
