The hotel is somewhat older but otherwise in good condition.
Careful, same room type has very different room.
Room with sea view are larger.

We stayed at the beginning and in conclusion our holiday for 4 days in the hotel. We felt very good there. Particularly the offer in the different restaurants is very diverse and good. The entertainment at the end of the year (new year's eve party in the outdoor area) was great organized and had good maintenance.
The standard rooms are relatively small and offered little schrankfläche (1 meter). The baths are a bit dated but apart from that very clean and big enough.
Due to the location of the hotel with a great view and central location in the capital ... area we would this hotel definitely again choose. read more

The exterior impression deceptive practical building with relatively small pool. The rooms correspond normal 5 star standard, but only the lowest floor a terrace has, which one however also by the warm temperatures not need. The view of the see and the sunset is very nice. Many steps lead down to the beach, the however for swimming little is suitable. For a pure beach holiday the hotel is however not suitable. For the inspection of the ' surrounding ' environment you will need a taxi.
For a comfortable beer the pub and the pool area. Outside is a alkohollizenz anyway ... not available. The buffet for breakfast is second to none in the Oman and the dinner buffet with grill is good fish and meat equipped. We stayed on the entire omanreise of musandam until saalach river never again eaten so well. read more

We were in connection with a round trip twice, on different days, in the hotel. From the offer the various restaurants we only the buffet taken into account. The offer was huge. You should totally famished for dinner go. The quality was very good. We had the impression, the majority of the hotel guests the restaurant with menu (, because cheaper ) taken into account have. You should be reflected in this restaurant on the terrace Squares reserve. Otherwise the hotel offers everything. Unfortunately it was located relatively alone. Without taxi there is nothing. Until old Muscat kommunistische mutrah at ... least 30 minutes unfortunately, there is currently no street to the two parts of the city which is not very complex under construction. Endless traffic jams are set.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Crowne Plaza. We use the hotel as a base for excursions, as well as to relax. The hotel has its own section on the sea. There is however high and low tide, so that partly a more current or very shallow water is found. In the hotel has a very pleasant mood. There are too many business services in the hotel. The English mostly, are however too pleasant. The staff is always very helpful and ordered taxis and trips for us( large Mosque, Souk, dolphin Tour). The staff speaks good English. read more

On a small hill very nice location, including the private bay with sandy beach is, over a staircase. As we were there, a few were at the beach, the most were at the pool, well, we had a fantastic peace down there. The tide comes around noon and the sea itself was spacious back, you can walk lovely. Shiraz Persian restaurant was for us the outstanding! Only a shame, that it throughout the hotel no shisha is, as is simply the Orient. You must walk about 15 minutes to go to the Corniche. Room are absolutely in order, breakfast was ... very rich. With the taxi it is only about ten minutes walk from the old town. Taxis have no meter in Oman, so always ask the price beforehand and to act! From the hotel to the Souk usually we have paid three or four or, six, eight the. Was already in many countries in the Orient, but definitely the friendliest in Oman are people! read more

The location on the sea with private bay is certainly the biggest advantage of the hotel, also to city it is not far. The hotel itself is architecturally none beauty, the room (club room!) are rather small and carelessly decorated, the bathrooms are also in the years come and the air conditioning was already under dimensioned...
Breakfast buffet was OK, and the pool was very well maintained and the furnishings well equipped.
Overall OK, but not convincing enough for a renewed reservation. read more

Excellent four star hotel-probably best location in Musccat. Excellent restaurants in the house-in the environment but rather less opportunities. Price/performance ratio OK-you should book on each case 'club' room Crowne Plaza, the included in the price: nice small lounge, breakfast is including the can also in the main restaurant and be consumed. Wi-Fi in the lounge (unfortunately not in the rooms, it was supposed to change but)-also free drinks and snacks throughout the day including.
All in all, a hotel, the slow in the years comes, but still very neat and clean is-with attentive service and excellent gastronomy. read more

We can recommend this hotel as a base for the city inspection of nutmeg. Is located in a very quiet area located in the diplomatic quarter and has a nice pool and a small, but fine beach. Less than five minutes drive away are several large shopping opportunities. To the airport and the city center are only about 20 minutes depending on it with the car. read more
