Very nice family-run hotel from the front desk to the bellboy all extremely friendly and wonderfully clean. Food very tasty and diverse, the ' außenköche' at the dinner were excellent! But the absolute absolute highlight is Ghalap the man for all cases, it is the ' boss' the shisha lounge and the best entertainer to right. It you just have to experience and alone it was already worth it to come back again. He has the attitude to life 'mach what you love and you love what you do' and just as he comes in the guests over! All other ... waiters are also extremely friendly and accommodating. The only negative is the main entertainer and the money, i would like, the guest carer is not much fleisiger. All in all a great vacation we would gladly come again read more

I am alone risks, no no interest in animation and so on., but you have only once friendly and the was okay. The service was excellent! Without tips i had to by the pool only marginally longer wait than the always what do. With that, i want to say that the staff also rfreundlich and courteous remains, if one anything there. And i do not have yet anywhere differently in Egypt experienced (8 times there). Shisha corner very pleasant, and Hurghada costs a normal taxi 7 Euro per way. Shuttle per person 6 €. Have great found a fast access ... and as always an excellent vacation read more

The hotel i can to recommend 100%. I have never had such a friendly staff experienced. We were treated very well. The food was the country was very delicious, the complex and the room super clean. Everyday the rooms were with details decorated, very lovingly. One felt as a guest always king. We have no excursions, as us one advised against, because we have no man thereby had. Beach was clean and near the hotel. The shisha was the absolute best, we love shisha at! read more

It's not the newest hotel, clean and well arranged. Mainly german tourists, few russians, not times the food so. Average age, mostly couples. read more

    Food well arranged but we liked it this time in Egypt tasty. Could for my taste better be spiced, but had very many spices to nachwürzen, which is perhaps what we wanted. You can't suit everybody. For tips there was a box in the entrance area not on every door a, very pleasant. I would still another subject for anyone, i cannot in each bin a light and all could have been somewhat deserved.

    Friendliness and service is outstanding. I had huge concerns in a star hotel in Egypt we were never. There were drinks until on the beach brought, by the pool even peeled apples. Everybody was nice and friendly. At the beach a nice lady, Birgit schmoozed, that we all love only the soups and as usually in hotels the coffee a catastrophe is. At night the chef at our table, soup and coffee were on the next day better. All in the kitchen, which we trouble made apology we did not want to. So not chatter, the wind is too strong, or too cold or... It could be the Birgit rolled up and the leaders to jerks!

    We didn't take advantage of the leisure activities on offer. Beach is very small and therefore the loungers close, thus relatively loud. But it was always one there. Beach bar not to the hotel belonging to detect and at noon always overbooked, so we were always in the hotel eat.

    The way to the beach is very confusing. To 2 days we did however on the shortest way and without us to manage. From the airport to the hotel it is for Hurghada far, about 30 minutes we were traveling. It is a business in the hotel and some outside. We buy mostly in the airport, prices and offer about the same. Beware of vendors on the airport, not to close match it. 2 years ago we have only home noticed, that the alabasterverkäufer very skilled with the hands is.

The hotel is medium sized and was only moderately clean. Guests came mainly from Germany, otherwise there was still some russians, the contrary to popular prejudices but completely unnoticeably were. All age groups were about evenly distributed. The hotel is overall in good condition and beautifully begrünt. At night it was partly somewhat loud, since the employees partially at 1 noisy and loud whistling tables and chairs umräumten. Also in the morning was partly already around half 8. loud music by the pool, so a sleep in not always was possible. Apart from that it was however mostly nice and ... quiet. Because of the beautiful rooms, the good sportangebotes and good food with good value for money five stars but overall appropriate. read more

    The food is in comparison to other all-inclusive hotels certainly easily above average. The selection is good, especially what salads and dessert is concerned. The food is varied and there are many special offers like for instance show cooking. Tasted some-and lowest points for everyone. Unfortunately, little greasy cooked and sometimes with too few salt. The desserts were often very sweet and partly hardly edible. Generally, it is possible, at every meal something good to find.

    The service personnel very friendly and all spoke english, and at least a few phrases in german. In general they were very attentive and filled for example by the pool drinks often after. The food seemed the waiters but partly overtaxed/sluggish, so that we sometimes almost the whole meal is long on drinks had to wait.

    The sport possibilities are very good, for example water polo, beach volleyball, Boccia, shuffleball and Latino dancing. Mondays there was the 'olympic day', at various sports for other hotels beginning and afterwards medals can win. :-) There was a kids club, but usually not used. The pool is large and has a separate part for infants. There is enough sunbeds, if the hotel but more is busy, it could be cramped. In the evening there is entertainment, which we however never looked at. After information of other guests it should really good his. The entertainers were partly not very welcoming. If for an activity not immediately enough participants reported, was often not large the knowledge stirred. Also with the activities they seemed sometimes sluggish.

    The hotel is located unfortunately not directly at the beach, but about five minutes walk away. The Sol y Mar has a small beach section, the loungers are usually fully occupied. The Makadi Bay exists to the majority from hotels, further away ausgflugsziele as Luxor. The distance to the airport is half an hour. Who not that much on vacation to undertake would like, should location and the surroundings be satisfied.

So should a vacation his, for couple the peace and quiet search. You will be simply spoilt, even at the beach you are served. The restaurant by the beach is great, room was more than enough. Service at the pool outstanding you get everything, get even a drink is not desired every day fresh händtüscher for pool and beach. Very accomodating staff and helpful. For snorkelers a dream the nearby riff you would think the is the zoo, and the only 1a 3 meters deep. Room to availability upon prior freely. And 3 minutes to the beach are loosely bewähltigen ..., one goes through a wonderful garden. Itself the toilet facilities on the beach were always cleaned and are great alright So can only be recommended read more

We will be back. Great hotel in the middle of a beautiful park. The walk to the beach takes around 5 to 10 minutes which wasn't so bad since the park beautiful is. Small drawback is the very narrow beach section. The food was very good, wether at the beach bar or in the restaurant. Very versatile. The waiters and at all the entire staff are friendly and very cared for its guests. I would say 90% germans tourists. The sea loads of course for snorkelling and dive. Otherwise the bay very nice anxious. Conclusion Sol y Mar Makadi Sun ... a hotel which tried the the guests return! read more

We were in Egypt for the 1. time. We really enjoyed it, especially the friendliness, fleißigkeit, cleanliness and speed. The staff tried, a the wishes from the eyes. The waiters know mostly after 2 orders, what you at 3. evening drink. The food in the restaurant was also very good. Especially the meat and the vegetables were very good and delicious. The one has otherwise so rarely. You have to but also say, if one only shortly before restaurantschluss watched food, you should no firm filled buffet expect more, as unfortunately also some guests said! The beach is quite small ... and i would like to not in the hotel his, if it was fully booked, but this by the drink service at the pool chair made up for it. One small downside, what the flair the nice hotels unfortunately somewhat foggy, was the presence of some russians. But the hotel nothing, it is only the guests, not just with behavior and table manners are blessed. With a bit of luck travel at a time, where the russians someplace else %blank% on vacation flies. If you're looking for peace and fine cuisine finds, is in the hotel definitely the place to go! read more

We were there for the 2. time. It was again super nice and very funny! Deduction only whilst eating, that was last year a bit better. However, this is everything you can complain about. This was again Ghalap and its shisha corner our absolute favorite of the hotel. You can still so bad mood are, if manihn sees the sun on ☺ All in all, it was once again a really beautiful, warm, fun and relaxing holiday, in a well-kept hotel with very friendly staff! read more

Very good value for money. Quiet and very friendly staff. The food is great and the way to the beach no more than 5 minutes by a wonderful area. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything, which one on vacation needs. The night's sleep and can also hear anything from the neighbors. read more

Perfect honeymoon and the most beautiful vacation, which we had ever. And the whole of Makadi Sun-team contributed. We were of the finest quality -with again and again small attentions in the room - and the entire day at the pool and at the sea by the very attentive staff. The hotel is in a very well-kept and clean state - was constantly being cleaned or thing. The service is first class, the food so rich, that one in 14 days not nice can - and very tasty. Because it the smallest hotel in Madinat Makadi is, we find it ... absolutely ideal. It is quiet and a little familiar, you know soon all waiters with name-and remember very fast, which one standard drink. The beach is great well-kept-it was every evening back polished. The offshore reefs the snorkelers-heart beat faster, so you will find close to the beach the most in the red sea occurring species of fish and colourful coral. Small but fine hotel. The staff is more than hospitable and your wishes, suggestions and complaints immediately. Everyone is more than just hard, the stay as beautiful and pleasant as possible. We knew before from other reviews, that the hotel not the newest and small beautification repairs not damage may. Our first room was just what the bathroom not really ideal. Room change but immediately and instantaneously have been possible without a problem. The selection of food is more than enough and very good. There is something for everybody. We were more than satisfied and it always tasted. Also the ... whole hotel, park and beach were great clean and tidy. We especially want to mention but Ghalap, the shisha at, with his always radiating art every guest is. Only for Ghalap: we love you-you are the best ☺. The hotel is definitely an ideal place to relax to spoil and a beautiful, relaxed bath vacation to spend. We would gladly come again. read more

The hotel is very good neat. Towels every day renewed and the towels sweet figures prepared. It has at the front entrance a shisha bar, a beautiful atmosphere, and a great friendly service has.     We have in the room felt good. Room was every day cleaned very well. Our room boy was always for a surprise on the bed provided (figures. We would have been pleased if a coffee maker in the room would have been. But we could live with it.

A great stay, in the nothing has been. A trip to the birthday is worthwhile, the bed was fantastic decorated (by our cleaner otman ). The entire staff is very tried hard and courteous.
