The hotel is medium sized and was only moderately clean. Guests came mainly from Germany, otherwise there was still some russians, the contrary to popular prejudices but completely unnoticeably were. All age groups were about evenly distributed. The hotel is overall in good condition and beautifully begrünt. At night it was partly somewhat loud, since the employees partially at 1 noisy and loud whistling tables and chairs umräumten. Also in the morning was partly already around half 8. loud music by the pool, so a sleep in not always was possible. Apart from that it was however mostly nice and ... quiet. Because of the beautiful rooms, the good sportangebotes and good food with good value for money five stars but overall appropriate. read more

    The food is in comparison to other all-inclusive hotels certainly easily above average. The selection is good, especially what salads and dessert is concerned. The food is varied and there are many special offers like for instance show cooking. Tasted some-and lowest points for everyone. Unfortunately, little greasy cooked and sometimes with too few salt. The desserts were often very sweet and partly hardly edible. Generally, it is possible, at every meal something good to find.

    The service personnel very friendly and all spoke english, and at least a few phrases in german. In general they were very attentive and filled for example by the pool drinks often after. The food seemed the waiters but partly overtaxed/sluggish, so that we sometimes almost the whole meal is long on drinks had to wait.

    The sport possibilities are very good, for example water polo, beach volleyball, Boccia, shuffleball and Latino dancing. Mondays there was the 'olympic day', at various sports for other hotels beginning and afterwards medals can win. :-) There was a kids club, but usually not used. The pool is large and has a separate part for infants. There is enough sunbeds, if the hotel but more is busy, it could be cramped. In the evening there is entertainment, which we however never looked at. After information of other guests it should really good his. The entertainers were partly not very welcoming. If for an activity not immediately enough participants reported, was often not large the knowledge stirred. Also with the activities they seemed sometimes sluggish.

    The hotel is located unfortunately not directly at the beach, but about five minutes walk away. The Sol y Mar has a small beach section, the loungers are usually fully occupied. The Makadi Bay exists to the majority from hotels, further away ausgflugsziele as Luxor. The distance to the airport is half an hour. Who not that much on vacation to undertake would like, should location and the surroundings be satisfied.

    Food well arranged but we liked it this time in Egypt tasty. Could for my taste better be spiced, but had very many spices to nachwürzen, which is perhaps what we wanted. You can't suit everybody. For tips there was a box in the entrance area not on every door a, very pleasant. I would still another subject for anyone, i cannot in each bin a light and all could have been somewhat deserved.

    Friendliness and service is outstanding. I had huge concerns in a star hotel in Egypt we were never. There were drinks until on the beach brought, by the pool even peeled apples. Everybody was nice and friendly. At the beach a nice lady, Birgit schmoozed, that we all love only the soups and as usually in hotels the coffee a catastrophe is. At night the chef at our table, soup and coffee were on the next day better. All in the kitchen, which we trouble made apology we did not want to. So not chatter, the wind is too strong, or too cold or... It could be the Birgit rolled up and the leaders to jerks!

    We didn't take advantage of the leisure activities on offer. Beach is very small and therefore the loungers close, thus relatively loud. But it was always one there. Beach bar not to the hotel belonging to detect and at noon always overbooked, so we were always in the hotel eat.

    The way to the beach is very confusing. To 2 days we did however on the shortest way and without us to manage. From the airport to the hotel it is for Hurghada far, about 30 minutes we were traveling. It is a business in the hotel and some outside. We buy mostly in the airport, prices and offer about the same. Beware of vendors on the airport, not to close match it. 2 years ago we have only home noticed, that the alabasterverkäufer very skilled with the hands is.

    We have in the room felt good. Room was every day cleaned very well. Our room boy was always for a surprise on the bed provided (figures. We would have been pleased if a coffee maker in the room would have been. But we could live with it.

    The friendliness all staff was perfect. We were able to provide us with each informing. Room cleaning was always great. Guest relations (Birgit) was always traveling around to ask, wether everything is okay or, if you had any requests.

The food is not very extensive and unfortunately were the dishes quite poor with spices mistake. We hoped to a varied the range of dishes on offer, but you might think the it on one day Gulasch with rice was, at the next rice with Gulasch. On the 3. day can you fill in a questionnaire as it pleases one (i personally after three days no statement as the days like) and this quite pushy. You will be from the start trimmed the good reviews given by (constant fragerei '. And, everything was good or very good.!' When criticism ... is a little inclined from the side looked at. In the all in all everything was neither good nor very good, however rather ok! In this price range we were already in better hotels in Egypt. read more

A terrific (much too short) vacation in Makadi Sun. The service in the hotel was really excellent, the waiters were always friendly and well presented. Cleanliness in the hotel absolutely could not be faulted. A short statement to the very good service at the front desk: After checking in in the hotel we wanted a room with double bed, no single beds. Not a problem, immediately we were in a different room misplaced. Now we had but no balcony more, but a direct access from the room to the pool. Also not bad, i am already very cosy evening hour ... on the balcony looking forward to it. Not a problem, the next morning we have our dream room on the first floor (with a balcony) and a double bed are, although the hotel was quite booked up. At this example you can see, that the employees really tried very hard, that you in this hotel its dream vacation to spend can. We will gladly come again:-) But lazy at the beach convenient, but i with my girlfriend a course to the open water diver at the diving station at the beach made. Diving ' extra divers Makadi Bay' also can only be recommended! read more

After a long time i also once again a vacation retreat and then immediately absolutely to the black met! I was in the (unfortunately too short ) week felt very comfortable and recommend the Makadi Sun and the resort has already i family and my friends fully and wholeheartedly! The first good impression from the hotel i had the same at the check-in, with the staff extremely accommodating and immediately to me cared has. I never had the feeling that you just rushed to, as it unfortunately in many other hotels the case is. Unfortunately is just the name of ... the front desk employees not a, nevertheless i want him at this point especially praise. In any case stepped through the door of the Makadi Sun and was immediately on vacation arrived. Couldn't be better. And the good impression kept up at the end. The complete staff, be it the waiters, the people by the pool (hey Mahmoud!) Or beach, the entertainers, the guide Birgit or the reinigungsleute, was always very accommodating, friendly and hard so you sometimes less as a hotel guest because as a good friend or known feels, the visit. At the pool area i was in a week never, it has more to the beach however i think that everyone here extremely be comfortable can. At other hotel guests were way except me very many other german, but also french and arabischstämmige. Unfortunately except me no singles as far as i noticed, but for who wants it finds also at the beach sufficient port. Who to the beach, the garden every time on the new enjoy. I can promised! I felt in any case so. Until to the beach it is by the way only five minutes on foot. Since i in the entire week only good weather had (~,21 until 25 °c air temperature, 22 °c water temperature ) i could the beach also really enjoy. At the beach you get drinks and snacks free of charge from the own hotel beach bar. The staff does everything directly at the chair, wonderful! Who to the beach goes, must also definitely at the lying off reef snorkeling go. For me it was the first time snorkeling and i was completely impressed! Unfortunately i did not have so much luck as some tourist last year even a few dolphin the beach very nearby arrived and nearby the really on the way were. That would be definitely the icing on the cake has been. But also so it was just amazing. One forgets really the time while snorkeling, 1,5 hours were incredibly quickly. However for who wants it of course, all the time the world leave, is vacation. Apart from that you can jet skiing (if i the possibility could i would even such a thing to buy), surfing, diving, parasailen, with the glass bottom boat and so on also in a two-or three-week vacation should for variety be ensured. On Makadi Sun one can by the way amongst others beach volleyball or Tennis play, which in the hotel price included is. In the aqua world (the also is free) i was unfortunately not what i somehow difficult languages, when i left. The hole i next time to! Evenings you can in the hotel bar, of the pool bar or in the shisha corner relaxation. The shisha corner, i wish to all future hotel guest warmly recommend, even if you not even smoke. Firstly, the whole as half-open tent designed, in the wind and the smoke in any case deducted that means you can sit in any dark raucherhöhle as some shisha bars in Germany the case is. Secondly you get here exactly like at the hotel bars all drinks free of charge. Thirdly, (and most importantly) the atmosphere is simply matchless inviting, which especially the shisha you ghalap is. You're the craziest shisha you i've always lakes! He alone makes the shisha corner experience and you can gladly anytime again. As a young couple we had super lots of fun in this hotel. The circa 5-minute walk to the beach were quickly reached. The in-house beach was perfect well maintained and a wonderful reef is just a few meters from the shore. The staff and the service were perfect. Better it hardly goes.     Over our room we can't complain. We had a beautiful room to the garden with a balcony. This would be perhaps a new closet and also A new bathroom be established. The cleanliness of the toilet And shower were we as good. Should all rooms renovated Will, would the hotel in our opinion always be busy. Here we would like to thank the our room boy ( wäl ) Very welcoming. The only negative is here, you Contents of the fridge had to pay extra, and is Not cheap. Should be in all-inclusive be abolished.

    In the hotel there was 1 large restaurant, segregated from several Rooms. The quality of the meals and drinks was out- Protruding. (a thank you to cook nasser) cleanliness And hygiene was also nothing to complain about. The Plates and glasses immediately cleared away. Whereas some waiters Attentive, fast and apparel are. (here we can Mostafa and Georges stress. (also here thank you very much) The atmosphere was very good, casual and relaxed. Tips were thankfully accepted, but had no Impact on the service.

    The friendliness all waiters leaves no wishes open. All speak really good german, and you here as a King catered for and service. As already mentioned at the beginning, was Our room every day cleaned. Also daily the Towels were changed. Sheets every 3. day. We had No reason to complain. This would be the case ge- Nature, would be any complaint in a matter of minutes. At the time of our holiday there were few children in the hotel, So that we do not have sufficient answer. A thorough renovation the room agreed.

Very friendly staff & fantastic entertainment. Alaa supplied the guests the entire day at the pool with cool drinks and shisha at fulfilled every wish. Thank you very much also at Mostafa, the us every evening very friendly served. Around perfect! read more

We were in february in this hotel. It is a small but cozy hotel with a perfect service. The waiters are all very hard to make everything worked perfectly. Even by the pool one is served! The rooms and cleanliness are ok. Gave themselves much trouble. The food afternoons and evenings we didn't like : always the same the whole week and little taste! But apart from that everything was alright! read more

You can say almost like a family run hotel it very easy going and all make a as the own mother. Unfortunately the internet only for a fee (was when booking already know) what a expensive cell phone could save (2,99 Euro/minutes). The average age was the dates when good 40-50 but no holidays so very few children. Everything is all-inclusive with a large variety of about 7 warm dishes which i've seen. Everyone strives to please and if you have a extrawünsch is simply tell and immediately sees someone no matter wether with the food or sons, whether ... fruit (with us bananas) or ice on the times where it is not just ask one gets everything. read more

    Our room was with two individual beds (were from the staff then put together) and a couch. A table and two chairs; balcony with a table and two chairs. About 3 times 3 metres, the cleanliness was excellent.

    There is just a restaurant there one gets its meals otherwise at the beach a bar for beverages and lunch, pool bar. The food is something there for everyone. Tip is expected each one is but also very friendly and accommodating served if you are not there. But one was always clear the live from the tips. But you didn't have to every day it is a time!

    Everything are very nice and friendly, certain people are there everywhere. For us it was the from the beach i was sometimes disappointed. Complaint as already described above will undoubtedly done and the results you see sätestens after 2 days i have never seen anything like it.

    Every night another entertainment by the entertainment team. Sport you can't much to do except in the exercise room that is however indicated nötigtem equipped. The pool chairs, i give still 2 years the totally over but damage replaced. Pool is clean and heated.

    To the beach you have to about 5 minutes to go but that is very nice one goes through a garden where it figures and other things in the hedge carved are. 20-25 minutes from airport about 35 kilometer. but no aircraft noise! Evening walk is the horror you are always addressed ' hello how are es'nur a frage'wo come gene ago ' and so on. The main belt up and say anything, just go farther otherwise the not so easy los those let then if they do not know with whom to tum from a loosely.

The hotel is a with love run, outdated, typical egyptian hotel 4 star class. It is probably the smallest hotel in the Madinat Makadi with about 125 rooms which we as a group of 31 persons in the age of 15 months to 63 years 12 rooms booked. Meals are served in the spacious restaurant with a terrace enough (buffet). The hotel has a pool bar, a bar on the lobby borders, a shop behind the front desk and a shisha bar. Except for the smoke shisha in the shisha bar is the hotel after the all-inclusive concept. read more

    As already described above is the food served in the hotel restaurant. It was always and at any time for everyone in our large group something for everyone. Even individual requests were from the chefs met. ( strong praise). The waiters in the restaurant we are especially mostafar and wäl in memory remained. They gave us not as guests, but as your family treated. The birthday of our son there was even a song and a cake. Also at the bars, you were very friendly treated. The team the bar are especially krollos and alaa to the heart. And then the hit Ghalap. Ghalap is mr the shisha in the shisha bar. The has to be experienced!

    The employees in the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Spoken times more times less english, german, russian, french and of course arabic. Constantly ask for, wether everything is okay. There was then but sometimes to complain about is Birgit the best personnel and the staff is immediately anxious perhaps flaws immediately to eliminate it.

    Of course the hotel entertainers. In the daily offer kids club, water polo, archery, Volleyball, darts and so on they are not so very pushy and drag all of the chairs. The pool is always clean and everyone had a beach chair (there were enough) there was also a gym, table tennis and a tennis court.

    The Madinat Makadi is about 30 bus minutes from the airport Hurghada in southern direction. The Makadi Bay consists of very lots of hotels and a shopping mile with over 100 small shops, pharmacy, hairdresser, smaller restaurants and an aquapark ( for guests from the Makadi Sun free with a bus 5 minutes away). From the hotel Makadi Sun it is about 5 minutes by the hotel Makadi club very nice beach, where there is also a beach bar (all-inclusive) returns. Very nice also the at the beach offshore, buoys protected house reefs.

You get the beverages to the beach chairs. The entire staff is really friendly and the rooms (are getting quite old) are every day wet mopped and lovingly decorated. Special praise goes to Ghalap the shisha at, that is from morning in the early until late in the evening always in a good mood. The guest care Birgit ask daily every, wether everything is okay and worries immediately if ... sometimes should be. Anyway, overall very recommendable. Oh i forgot the good food completely forgot. Just to feel like god in France, each desire from the eyes be evaluated. The we could in the 10 days Egypt just enjoy! The hotel is actually really relatively small, however therefor really clean! The waiters etc. Are simply superb super nice and you can simply feel at ease! Especially top is ghalap the shisha ann! The entertainment team Banana, anastacia, nany, Sasha and Momo are just great and it has everything great a lot of fun! A hotel and a team which you just must love! We would in any case again and again here return, alone simply ... because the food! For snorkelling are the three hausriffe also very convenient! Small tip, take a look at the outer reef at! So have fun with the let yourself be pampered in soly mar Makadi Sun!-) read more
