The hotel is the only place to spend the night in the surrounding area or besides the hotel there are no houses or a place. Next place in a distance of 30km and this very small.
The bungalow was large and clean. Nice location.
The beach is great and lonely. The water was very clean.
We were for the diving and that was also very nice there. Unbelievably large corals, nothing broken. But unfortunately not that much fish.
The food is enough but no more. The staff however friendly and helpful.
In summary should not expect too much, however therefor ... you have the lonely location and beautiful dive sites. read more

Mosquitoes and chiggers certain the vacation, a genuine pestilence.
We and also other guests had rats in the bungalows, which clothes and shoes zerfraßen.
The extremely arrogant sales manager; rather with its appearance busy; did nothing, there was no apology. To our insistence, we could some, still in heartbeats clothes, for cleaning when you leave.
This happened only reluctantly, it was called you smell yes not at all after rat.
The dinner is only edible (buffet as in the cafeteria ), even if it every day chicken gave.
For breakfast, there is eggs, eggs, eggs. (i. d. r. gray green ... scrambled eggs)
The only 'restaurant ' on the complex is bad and costs extra.
The bar, which was there is with the 10 tables completely at the limit.
The hotel was top notch.
The equipment you had to before each dive, always again just arrived boat from other divers get. You had to be lucky, a matching diving suit to get. Part of the equipment, however, was new.
Overall you felt like on a bad campground, as also benefits the beautiful diving spots nothing. For us and our friends certainly the first and the last time. read more

If you want to dive or hiking is, is well cared for here. Otherwise one was lost here. The next larger town is 2-3 hours away. Activities does not exist. On the beach there are ten beach chairs. The food is edible but nothing special. read more

During our journey through Cuba we put a stop in María La Gorda a, where we could very well relax. We spent three nights in a bungalow in green surroundings. Next to the hotel there are in the area not much. It is therefore Mary la Gorda perfect for peace searching, the a few relaxing days at the beach or in the sea diving want. read more
