The königshof is a distributed on several buildings complex, in the 2 spas are. Tennis iwrd not offered, however there are 5 minutes away from the hotel in Oberstaufen a very good indoor tennis centre, the to Hotel Tannenhof in Weiler heared. I have with friends in the last 15 years Tennis vacation spend. Because of some problems and, because my friend a voucher present had, this time we the königshof booked. A comparison is close. The room was newly renovated and good. The tv had hd-quality. The bathroom was simple, but functional. I personally like this levels showers, the handicapped are, but also disability remember.

I attach great importance to the food. This is why i abstained on the 'spoiling pension' happy with theme buffet and so on. There is in the main building and in the adjoining building with a restaurant, in the always the same table was reserved. There was usually a 4-course meal, once a starters buffet and a dessert buffet. From a theme buffet as in the brochures but was no speech. In a entire week from saturday until saturday there was no single main course buffet. Always only the choice between a fish and fleischgeicht. Alternatively just a vegetarian dish. Starter was mostly a salad from the buffet. Then comes a small and boring soup. Then the selected dish and dessert. The food itself was mostly good. At the last day was the meat dish inedible for me, since it was too dry. The potatoes as well. And at the same time a coherent group in the other restaurant the buffet enjoy, but us full paying guests not offered. A shame. But also in the last few years we have the experience, that these hotels conferees and other groups are preferred across singles and full-paying guests. There is a fireplace bar, very nice located next to the front desk. The is however not in use. Only the night porter taps here late beer. A after 20 hours open dance-bar in the basement. Also here very friendly service. But here i get claustrophobic.

Winners compared friendliness is clearly the Hotel Königshof. Of the front desk to the service we met only friendly staff. The friendly Gabi in the main restaurant is nearly alone a reason, to have a holiday here. The pleasant staff this is remarkable. There holiday mood. Königshof you the feeling, welcome.

We are as mentioned tennis players. And truthfully it was difficult, in this snow the not far away, halle to reach. There one can however outstanding coach book. Ideal is the tannenhof, in the indoor in the hotel is integrated. The königshof has 2 pool areas with saunas. But only the two saunas in salzwasserbereich acceptable. But there is in the winter no showers. The problem is, that most of the beach chairs in the dark without daylight is possible. Who wants but his leisure time in felsengewölbe spend, even if on a giant naturfilme shown? The deck chairs by the pool were occupied quickly. A gastronomy in these areas not at all. The steam saunas are small a man-cabins from plastic, the one before the switch must be prepared. A sauna day you want to not spend there. The hotel is located in the district of weißbach below Oberstaufen. The are on foot 15 minutes by car and just 5. but on foot it goes steeply uphill and the car you have to at the snow masses only shoveling. We are on the street sometimes cars in the snow across. The district itself is except for a local as dead as the place Weiler the tannenhof. But nevertheless is the hotel very nice located. Oberstaufen itself has nice shops and restaurants.
