We were for the 4. time rummana and we are already looking forward to it today on our next stay in this quiet and with much attention to detail designed small paradise. You feel, that the complete staff something like a small family, the always make an effort, the vacation unforgettable. Those who seek peace and quiet, is in the right place here. Who wants to make party, is not and should stay at one of the hotels on the Chaweng search! Luckily is the manager not too, that some guests my, you could here do, what they want! My partner and i were this year for the 2. time rummana hotel and were once again as wholly satisfied as the last time! Rooms: Rooms are very nicely furnished, the bed is cozy and the bathroom is absolutely sufficient large with a bath, wardrobe, safe, hair dryer. Minibar we unloaded and our own drinks from the supermarket left from the hotel granted, was absolutely no problem! Mirror and windows can they are not so good, so what did i on vacation but no matter! (but some knockers would otherwise my, that was a bit negative have.)-) Breakfast: ... Breakfast buffet is very appealing and was constantly refilled, eggs are freshly prepared and apart from the cold items (sausage, ham, cheese, camembert, hühnerleberpastete, lots of fruit, vegetables, fruit salad, yogurt, sweet and nature, cereal, schokoflakes, cereal, many types bread, pastries, 3 time jam, and so on.) There is always sausage, roasted bacon, pancakes, and a warm dish (for example hühnercurry with rice). If you can't find anything here, i can't help ☺ Coffee and tea will constantly refilled, if you want to. Beach: At the beach from Lamai bathing is always possible, both at low tide, as well as at high tide. The waves is in Lamai currently (Jan, february, march, on the other months i can not judge) partly very high, elderly/infirm people there is a little hard for swimming. Is always an adventure! Other beaches for example Chaweng Noi, mänam. Are from the sea quiet, but the people was much full. This hotel lies at the southern end of Lamai and you about 15 minutes to the 'had Lamai' = shopping/restaurant street, this daily walk did not bother us at all, but very well done with the lots of tasty food! Staff: All, from the reception, to the service in the restaurant, the chefs, the gardener, were so friendly-i have rarely where! Please don't forget to tip, 1,30 Euro we are not a lot of money, but 50 Bhat you can here a main course buy! Great vacation! Overall: Excursions could diagonally opposite the hotel be booked, very nice people there., exactly like scooters check-out counters! On the other side of the street from the hotel (easily right) there is a massage parlour with a pink sign, best thai massage of my life! (250 Bhat = circa 6 Euro for 1 hour), and in the salon next to it, you could let them wash your laundry -1 kilogram = 77 cents, 24 hours it takes.) read more

We spend 3 beautiful weeks in rummana. The complex is with so much love planted and it was every day a pleasure the landscaped paths-water, fountain, fish, green plants, orchids. - to celebrate. The staff - and my we all-was extremely friendly and really endeavored around each guest! Particularly has us po much, he sees everything, makes everything, understands everything! The bungalow has us also really enjoyed and the love, funny '' the always clean made. Thank you for this, for us, really wonderful holiday! The hotel rummana is a wonderful, small complex, in the in every corner from fountain Ripples and small pond the green of the plants between the small house limber up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You feel in the easy going atmosphere 'angekommen' and can wonderful Relax. read more

The hotel has about 40 bungalows which in a large garden area with lots of greenery and winding paths are accommodated. The size the room was so far alright ( the closet offers little capacity for couch laundry), cleaned daily, bed sheets were changed, and also occasionally beds freshly referred. Air conditioning is available and wifi is throughout the hotel including pool and beach received. Near our stay were germans, austrians, russians, french, australian, and asians as guests present. read more

    The hotel is directly at the beach in 30 minutes to the airport. The center of the Lamai Beach is in around 20 to 30 walk to the ring road and at the beach along on foot to reach. On the street is quite easy almost always a tuk tuk or taxi or other lift for little money. There is but also numerous restaurants and shopping in the immediate area right outside of the hotel.

The hotel is one of the cleanest beaches in Lamai. The bungalows are furnished nicely, only the wardrobe could be a bit bigger but if you a bit improvised, the already. The bungalows are had already gotten a bit old, but still your comfort. In the bungalow were choices the beds and constantly the towels renewed. Dust and mirror could have been swept and cleaned. Otherwise ok. Mini bar was well stocked and the air conditioning functioned also perfectly. We had booked with breakfast, which in buffet form was. There were yogurt, fruit, cereal, cheese, bread, rolls, toast, eggs, sausage ... and warm dishes. The average age was mixed. There were german, russian and british in the hotel. The hotel is in my opinion not for children adequate. As in the spring the waves on some days were too high and the sandy beach was too far to walk. The distance from the airport to the hotel is approximately 30 minutes. To Lamai it is on foot around 15 to 20 minutes. Walk along the busy road. At the beach can one also go, we didn't bother. We have a beach vacation booked, unfortunately we could fom the 14 days only 4 days into the sea, since the waves with each day higher and unpredictable some unimprovables could not keep. In short: alone during our stay there were 3 people at the Lamai beach drowned. If it was the time of year or generally always higher waves are could not really confirm. Also from the beach itself i was very disappointed. There are supposedly the most beautiful beaches the world, the reality looks differently. The beach is very dirty, not even the hotel gate are cleaned! Of ... glass over sharp doses to plastic you will find everything. Unfortunately, the hotel itself i can only recommend. read more

Very pleasant bungalow complex, very friendly staff. Who peace succht, can find them here. Who variety searches, is in the wrong place. Alternatively with the taxi or small trains to the center from Lamai or to Chaweng. Money exchange very inconvenient. When floods and strong waves caution is needed. Currents does not exist. Who not in the hotel want to eat, should in Lamai pearl go. Good and cheap, 8 minutes to tap at the water front along. For more than 10 days stay there are vouchers for thai massage and thaidinner, both quite properly Except for free -internet there ... is no entertainment. Recommendable hotel. read more

We were at the hotel for 4 days rummana and were on the whole seen very satisfied. Very good service by nice and competent staff. Unfortunately the entertainment in Lamai nothing special, there is one in Chaweng clearly better cared for. read more

So a 4 star in accordance with european standards is the rummana not-but reduces the, if you all Lamai beach along hike and other hotels see-as was our already dearest. Especially the location is really great and the jungle-like plant is fascinating. Unfortunately the sea not nice-could be, that the 3 or 4 day power outage on samui many (wwtps broken?) If you a little stroll want, is in Chaweng better off, to Lamai however, you can loosely first at the beach on foot and back with the bus (we have always paid and without questions always less, which also ... accepted) Excursions you should already book, especially island tour and ang thong national park. Little clothes along, the best buy, 5 €for a nice dress. Food: who light fare loves, is be happy; super good everywhere! And it is still from \u263a Climate: the heat (30/31/32 °c) is due to the air humidity isn't pleasant-you steamed in competition with of nature! read more

    Very nice small bungalows. Big bed, small couch with coffee table, desk. Air conditioning, tv, wireless internet, telephone. Whether mini bar was available, we have not at all adviser. So no idea. Bathroom is spacious, shower and bathtub. Everything was relatively clean.

    It is a small pool (with waterfall ) on the complex, but the water temperatures in the sea... Lovely. The beach is clean. The hotel was not fully booked, so there were enough free beach chairs. Umbrellas are immediately upon request from the staff set up. A shower is also directly at the beach. I would like the great ladies of the massage in our area mention. We went there every 2. day a massage. I have mostly the footmassage selected but nevertheless the whole body massaged but with emphasis on feet and always an hour long!

Very good thai built bungalow complex. Very friendly staff and very helpful, could on the day of departure until 16:00 o'clock the room without an extra charge use, great. The beach is very beautiful and a few steps away you other restaurants. In the evening you need a taxi to Lamai center or about 20 minutes at the beach along. We will this hotel again, if we the next time on koh samui go. read more

Already for the 3 time I had the pleasure, rummana my holidays to spend. This small, quiet and very atmospheric resort I can only recommend. The complex is very well arranged, small but sweet and quiet. The resort is at the end of Lamai beach, a few minutes walk from the grandfather- and grandmother rock. Several small bungalows along the path, through the resort to the beach attracts. Very nice garden area, in the bungalows ingegriert are. We had only booked accommodation and breakfast, is sufficient, since some in the hotel respectively in Lamai beach lots of small restaurants for cheap prices to find. Guests every age group respectively German, Russian and also Italian guests were with us in the hotel.     The bungalows were big enough with a double bed, sofa, table, desk, mini bar/ fridge, tv ( in German only Deutsche Welle receptible ), safe. A kettle to the coffee- or tea was available. What is not very pleasant was, was the closet in the bathroom. All have things in the suitcase left, the in the room beach. The air conditioning is very noisy, can electronically regulated, although it was still quite noisy, but without it is almost impossible. The rooms are very dark respectively poorly lit. The rollo at the windows in the bathroom we had to the whole time on closed, as you from outside in the bathroom could see. Cleaned the bathroom daily, sometimes there were however mold respectively cobwebs available, which in a tropical country just occurs.

    To the hotel belong a restaurant and a small bar. Breakfast buffet was all right, not very large selection respectively variety however something for everyone. Coffee and tea was brought to the table. Different egg dishes were freshly prepared. There were several breads, toast, sweet bit, muesli/ cereal, jams, sausage, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables. Dishes were immediately cleared respectively the tables after leaving immediately cleaned and cleaned. The view was perfect in the morning with view of the sea. Evenings you could in the restaurant also food, we have however didn't use, since we always ate out. Lunch or during the day you can snacks or drinks/ cocktails directly to the beach chair at the beach bring.

    The hotel lies at the quiet end of Lamai beach with a direct access to the beach. From the airport we had about 30 minutes transfer time. To Lamai beach it was about 5 minutes with the bus or a scooter. On the main street left from the hotel there are possibilities scooter to rent, a pharmacy and a supermarket. Right the street along also a supermarket ( seven eleven) and some small restaurants and massage parlours. Excursions could along the main street booked or through the appropriate travel guide in the hotel.

    The staff were friendly, always a smile on the lips (perhaps sometimes but somewhat rehearsed seemed). The communication found in English. Unfortunately came it however again and again misunderstandings, because of lack of sprachverständis by of the staff. We have learned, that the thailändern (, as well as in the hotel, as well as the locals) difficult 'no' to say, that they say definitely first 'yes', even, if you not at all understood, what it is. This makes the communication very difficult and is first exhausting. The cleaning of the rooms was not quite to our satisfaction. We had the hotel selected, because of positive reviews in the field cleanliness. We can not confirm. On the first glance everything was okay, on the 2 not. The mountings were not always cleaned. There was dust on the feet of the bedside lamps. Unfortunately we had some animals in the room. From time to time a lizard, spiders on the bed and small ants in droves, as soon as something sweet not being done. Not bad, because in a tropical country can occur. Tip: precaution carry forward, helps first to brief combat ants. However we could also this, where the cleaning cleaned and where not. Sometimes the target ants from the day before were still on the desk... Every day can the bed linen freshly covered.     The hotel is directly at the beach. You can only from one or two suites the sea see. The villas were apart from that in the garden area. To to the sea to come, you need to walk through the complex through. The hotel lies not directly on the street, so that it is very quiet. Next to the hotel is a tailor. We have 2 shirts and 2 suits for altogether 120 Euro, and a leather jacket tailors leave. Very nice and competent! The laundry at the entrance to the hotel was closed, so we have twice the laundry in a laundry on the road wash leave, really cheap! Almost every evening with the small train to Lamai went (50 Bhat per person), you can but also comfortable at the beach there run, about 20 minutes. With the weather we had in the August luck. Always sunny and warm. In the two weeks we had to two days short rain.

Very friendly front desk with Orchideenkette and coconut to welcome. Shortly thereafter we were to our bungalow accompanied. The complex is as a small maze, again and again it is around the corner, on small bridges, there are very many wonderful plants. Our bed was on arrival beautiful with flowers and we were greeted with a fruit bowl, Bungalow was ample for the size, with a TV, fridge and free safe equipped. Very nice we found the bathroom with loose pebbles on the floor and with perfume lamp for your comfort and candles. Only Mango in the bungalow was our ... small terrace, there were only two chairs and the other hotel guests walked all over, so there was not much privacy. Breakfast was very good, the staff friendly and very attentive. By the pool was for every a beach chair available, sun screens were from the staff and if necessary even moved. Pool bar with a view of the sea. And a staircase leads up you are at the beach, here it was with the l Loungers somewhat tight, but still satisfactory. All together a very beautiful area, here friendliness largely written. Shops suburb are good, we have stayed at the surroundings of the hotel nice pub to eat found. A wonderful, rather smaller complex, the only from bungalows is. And all this in a tropical environment. From the reception -with friendly staff- until the right next to the sea gelegem pool, a only Pflanzentrum with many wells, ponds, Gangplanks and bridges. A only pleasure by the complex to hiking. The rooms are big enough. Even with a additional bed for my son, more than enough capacity. The complete staff and the dishes were excellent. Breakfast completely sufficient and evenings enough possibilities also once something someplace else to try. We have twice the Seafood-barbecue enjoyed, even directly at the beach. ... It can't get more romantic than that more. If you are looking for a quiet complex searches, is right at home here. read more

A small but very fine complex, where everything really fit and you take a break from everyday life can. You get at any time of the day chairs and an umbrella, which in many installations not always of course. The staff by the pool- and beach area read a each desire from the eyes. A umbrella or a beach chair moving around shade is like lightning from the staff taken care of. Drinks are exactly cool quickly to the chairs serves. The breakfast buffet corrresponds to a four-star hotel and is very delicious. We were evenings ( except once, we ... could ourselves have saved) only in the hotel food, since the quality and the cleanliness were excellent, as also the friendliness of the staff. Cleanliness was really in the first place, whether on the complex, in the restaurant, at the beach or bungalow. A lovely sandy beach with clear warm water, where the fish between the legs swimming looks. We spend wonderful 10 days in this hotel and will definitely come again! read more
