Hotel fully adjusted to french and italian, with drawbacks on americans. A fantastic beach with great sea. Room too noisy, but ok. Large costs when leaving of the hotel (22 American Dollar) per taxi ride Playa del Carmen (15 kilometer). Staff all very hard, hardly any foreign language skills. Food and drinks almost around the clock:-) What is missing is a quiet pool without animation, the sometimes annoying. Good evening shows daily. 6 time à la carte restaurant in 14 days use, especially steakhouse very recommendable. read more

During our stay in november/december 2012 we have no trace of a ' mehrklassengesellschaft' found. The aforementioned privileged guests had in the main restaurant their separate Areal with a private operator, however, we can absolutely not say, that we than 'normal' longer for our beverages to wait had. The self-service in the privliged area was done by the same buffets, as for all other guests also. With the much more guests from France, Italy, Spain and Nordamerika we felt at any time at a disadvantage. We had friendly and very diligent staff throughout a good relationship. However, we had from ... the mexican waiter also no german knowledge expected, but us with our decades old english and a few spanish phrases from the travel guides informed. The worked perfectly and also a lot of fun. The einweiserinnen Sonia and ana from the main restaurant, even our dictionary lent, few german words for their use herauszuschreiben. It was once again confirmed: as one called in the forest, so it echoes also again. The portions and drinks in the specialty restaurants we cannot make a statement. Because of the good food and proximity to our hotel we had to stay all meals in the evening in the main restaurant restaurant.     Our normal room met completely our expectations. That we have no flatscreen tv had, didn't bother absolutely not. Also with the room service we were very satisfied. Already with the terms of the clean room we were with a towel figure surprised. Towels and linen were changed regularly. The mini bar was refilled daily.     The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant left in our opinion nothing to be desired: from the different breads, bacon and scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese, pancakes, fruits and desserts, in addition to freshly squeezed juices, everything was present in sufficient quantity or refilled. The lunch in the grill and snack restaurant 'Tortuga' met our requirements completely in good quality. Tasty evening buffet after issues presented and offered so also a lot of variation. That the issues weekly repeat was normal for us and turned also no problem dar. The assortment at the bars was of high quality. Very many branded spirits made the selection not bleaches.     The Playa maroma is the most beautiful beach section of the whole Yucatan-peninsula. Powder sugar sand makes the baden and the sports on the approximately 80 meters broad beach to the pure pleasure. Since it was close to the airport Cancun ( circa 35 kilometer) takes the transfer to the hotel only half an hour. The center from Playa del Carmen is also only 20 kilometer away. Unfortunately there is no shuttle service of the hotel, so that one for a shopping excursion will need taxis to your destination is. The beach and the pool area from of the lobby about 300 meters away. The hotel is a typical all-inclusive resort which very nice in the jungle is integrated. The rooms are along a tropical grown zugangsweges from the front desk to to the beach laid out. Unfortunately it is quite clear in spanish, italian and french hand. The resulting noise level of the guests was at the beach and in the restaurants partly nerve slaying. A 3 class society in this hotel is not to deny. Come first all privileged guests, dannkommt for a long time nothing, then the remaining guests from Spain, Italy, France and the USA/Canada, then it was again all ... for a long time nothing until the poor guests from the other countries! Not once presented we would such a thing again repeated! The highlight was the we in the à-la-carte-restaurants with their pitiful small portions no seconds got, very in comparison to other clientele (privileged, italian, spanish, french, americans, and so on) read more

    Oje the rooms. As first room we had the 3112 and we experienced the first ugly surprise.     The food in all restaurants was usually acceptable and there is also enough choice, but all meals to 90% cold or lukewarm. There passes one the appetite. There are always huge portions precooked then at the buffet not really kept warm,. (for example pasta, on demand there were from the staff there is absolutely no willingness (by the grim dastehenden chef) a portion of pasta in the pan again briefly to warm up! Truly amazing! The food in 3 à la carte restaurants for the normal guests is good but, the portions way too small. The wine in the 4 à la carte restaurants cost extra (depending on the type of the bottle between 15 and 30 $). Why please book all-inclusive? That is why we have also only 3 of us actually allotted 7 à la carte restaurants, used and were only 1 times at the italian, mexican and steakhouse and 1 times at the tapas restaurant on the terrace. This was by far the best, in terms of food, as well as especially from the handling or service.

    The staff especially the female at the front desk was partly very rude, with a few positive exceptions. If you don't speak spanish or speak french, you will in general anyway ignored! Foreign language skills are very limited, in the service is even almost no english understood. The cleaning of the rooms only starting from the 2. week work the servicemangerin turned on. Before missing either time all towels or the room was not at all made as we at night from a tour returned. The mini bar refill was also gladly times forget! Complaints will not be ignored until you in the higher payments arrive. We and some other german speaking guests (germans, swiss, austrians) had during our stay many a time the clear impression, that we in this hotel are not welcome! Italian, spanish, french and americans were everywhere clearly preferred, it is at the front desk, in the buffet restaurant, à la carte restaurant or with the entertainers! Perhaps it is also because the in this hotel the origin of the guests already clear from the outset and for each clearly visible will be made. The color of the all-inclusive bracelets betrays the origin and thus the treatment. We have really never on the world experienced.

Of the entertainment you as german tourists throughout were deliberately cut or simply left if you are not a french or spanish was spoken, or the wrong armbandfarbe had (exceptions was Alice and brenda) beach chairs and shady spots there is both at the beach, as well as by the pool always enough. The chairs at the beach are but very worn out and should be urgently renovated, what, the one also completely flat could adjust as by the pool.

    The hotel is located great in the jungle and has a really very nice beach and adjacent, probably one of the most beautiful in the whole Yucatan-peninsula. The many noses and racoons on the complex sweeten the morning, as well as the entire stay. The area is very nicely kept and the garden very well maintained. For those seeking relaxation actually very well situated, because the hotel rather apart from the hustle and bustle.

The cocktails were however partly unenjoyable and the beer watered. The entertainers were always present, but not pushy. There was the matching entertainment for everyone.     The double room is big enough, the mini bar (non-alcoholic drinks) was refilled daily. The bathroom is relatively small, but that didn't bother us. A coffee maker, we had in the room, but they did not use it.

    On the complex there are 3 restaurants. The steakhouse and mexican we tried-both tasted good for us. The buffet was presentable and all the food was tasty. Only the quality of the drinks could be better. The cocktails were partly not edible, the beer was of poor quality.

    The airport is three-quarters of an hour away, aircraft noise was zero. Since the resort somewhat remote is, the night life in limits. To Playa del Carmen there are 18 kilometer with the taxi. Restaurants nearby there is not. For us the ok, we have everything what we wanted on the complex found.

A straightforward hotel complex with a good layout the zimmerblöcke. Very quiet and well-kept complex in general. Everything was very clean. No complaints. The hotel is 80% from italian guests. The remainder divides on into french, russians, americans and very few germans guests. As already several times mentioned, you can get a upgrade to privileged make, which in our opinion completely unnecessary and what we are glad, that we did not do that. The only advantage the room, which from the condition better should be, as the standard room. We thought however that the standard room completely sufficient, since one ... anyway hardly in the room can hang out. read more

    Large and clean rooms, somewhat in need of renovation. Mini bar filled up every day. We had small inhabitants in the room, mini ants on the walls and sometimes even partially on the furniture, which nothing special bother us.     The food has us rather disappointed. We have to do more local cuisine desired. It was on the italian guests, with about 5 sorts pasta and 6 sorts of pizza every evening. The theme nights were not really issues \u263a there were maybe 2-3 matching dishes. The food was mostly so long, that most of the already withered and rather lukewarm-cold. Tasty one was it not also our case, hardly seasoned, quite location. The only good things were the desserts. In the snack bar at the beach (Tortuga) the food was was almost always dry, cold and one had sometimes the feeling, that the food from the day before on the next day again served. We have once the à-la-carte restaurant (mexican) use and were very satisfied. Despite all you always an alternative found, so that you always got full.

    The distance to the airport amounts to about 40 minutes (cancun). The beach is right under your nose. The next town is Playa del Carmen, approximately 20 minutes out. Either with a taxi or with the small white buses (collectivo), the main street drive to reach. The so-called 'schotterpiste', the already several times mentioned, is an absolute disaster. At night it is impossible this way to walk, since there was neither paved still is lit. Thus one is dependant on the taxi. One had the possibility a taxi to the main road to take (1.5 kilometer, on foot circa 20 minutes) cost 70 pesos = circa 5 Euro and from there with the collectivo to Playa del Carmen cost 20 pesos per person one way = about 1,30 Euro or right with the taxi to Playa for 225 pesos = circa 15 Euro for one way. In our opinion the journey is until the main street specially expensive, so you just with the taxi continue to to Playa drives, since the taxis had a cooperation with the hotel have. We found it was a rip-off!

The hotel is really very nice. It consists of several smaller houses and is in the jungle built. The rooms were cleaned daily and also well. Also the rest of the hotel (lobby, restaurant, pool...) Is always clean. Mainly we have italian and french guests. Accordingly was the entertainment also not on german. You could still take part in everything, if you wanted, as it was in english. Of average age i was surprised. There were very lots of young people (i guess between 20 and 30) in the hotel. read more

    We had 3. a double room and the was size wise more than adequate. Air conditioning and fan was in the room available and worked very well. The mini bar was daily with water and soft drinks refilled, the all-inclusive were. Our room was cleaned daily and also well.

    There is a buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and three à la carte restaurants, the all-inclusive were. The mexican restaurant was not anything for us. That's why we were only there once. The steakhouse and the italian were very good. But also the buffet was very good. Here there was always something different and often theme nights (for example France, Mexico or Japan). Also the restaurants are very clean and the service very pleasant and accommodating.

    We had no problems with the staff. When we problems with the safe or the door lock had, were immediately technician to the place. We called in english, since most of the staff could not speak german. But it didn't bother us.

    The pool area is very beautifully built and there are here and at the beach chairs and umbrellas free available. The beach is very beautiful and actually exactly like we had a Karibik beach presented. White sand and turquoise water. At the beach you could also various water sports, like for instance jet skiing or diving, take advantage of. And the entertainers were naturally also and have for example beach volleyball offered. Also here everything was always very clean. Unfortunately was on a couple of days storm and it was a lot of seaweed to the beach washed. But also were the employees from the hotel tried everything removed as soon as possible.

    From the airport we are about 30 minutes and were then already at the hotel. To Playa del Carmen it was even a bit less. We had the luck and the complex in the our room was, was very near to the beach. We had only once by the pool long and were already there. Of course, that was very good. But also otherwise i found were not very far. One could everything (restaurants, pool, beach...) Good.

The hotel is in the middle of the jungle and of the main street after about half kilometer on a gravel road to reach. These embedded in the jungle gives the hotel a really special character which relaxation factor once again enhanced. ( so we have it in any case felt). The whole complex is very picky well maintained in terms of garden- and gardens. read more

    We had a honeymoonsuite and as such I shall take these category also evaluate. The bed was simply a dream. A king size -bed with one determine 40 centimeter thick mattress for maximum sleeping comfort catered for. Shower and wash area functional and mexican style. On the terrace it was with a jacuzzi a highlight, the fully -impression very positive abrundete.

    The gastronomy was good. One must clear say, that it in a five-star hotel in Turkey better food there, which I did then as very good would. However you must clear say, that the food in catalunya certainly is not bad, but as already mentioned: good. I have found nothing I not at all tasted. You always find something, which tasted really very good and one thus afterwards content from restaurants could be. The à la carte restaurant are our opinion not worth the visit, as there is just wait for your meal than in the buffet restaurant and the quality is not better than in the buffet restaurant. Here I must however the tapas restaurant gut. What they offered was real top-class it prevailed therefore an entirely positive impression in all restaurants.

    Also here you can with quiet some give the full score, since I don't know how the service even better could. Every employee is exceedingly friendly ( without ever seeming fake). It begins at check in on, where will be charged the luggages decreased and to the room to be brought, after a quick and smooth check in. In the restaurants and at the beach is the service unsurpassable in our opinion. With which friendliness and swiftness there the guest is just commendable and exemplary. Drinks at the chairs at the beach enough, everyone asks for (and it is still so canceled) was fulfilled, both at the beach, as well as in the restaurants.

    We didn't use the pool, exactly like also the entertainment of us no attention has received. We just the beach enjoyed, the really simply dreamlike is. No rock and crystal clear water speak for themselves. However we had on some days quite high waves (2 meters) which something variety in the daily beach-visits came. I liked it infinitely a lot of fun just in the waves partying and from the waves overruns to be.

    In our opinion was the location perfect for about this hotel from excursions to start to places on the whole Yucatan peninsula, since you just between Cancun and Playa del Carmen is located. Furthermore is the location on one of the most beautiful beaches Riviera Maya for themselves speaking.

A in full width super convivial hotel, that will fulfil all requirements. A vacation to remember on the Riviera Maya, the I at any time repeat would! To the hotel actually I need say anything, that you can here already several times to read. Really worth mentioning is in any case immediately off to buy. We stayed there with German Mosquito repellent try and after the second day I had already 22 passes at the legs, was not at all! Otherwise the dishes in the main restaurant in my opinion better than in the theme restaurants, with exception the Spaniard, which was great. Costs for normalos 15 Dollar, for privilegde nothing. We had a standard room and no upgrade to privileged, for us the also perfectly sufficient. ... The beach is class, however sometimes quite fully seaweeds. Is however varied from day to day, sometimes is the sea glass clear and very clean. What of the Mayas wants to look at the recommend I tullum, is on next and at the sea, super nice if you from top down look. It is a shame, that you building no longer permitted to enter. Also great is the jeep safari, one gets something offered. We would this hotel and Mexico recommend at any time! read more

Beautiful hotel complex the white sandy beach

Location: The hotel lies about 16 kilometer north of Playa del Carmen directly at a wonderful white sandy beach, which for long long walks along the coast at different hotels and partly untouched beach sections invites. It is very quiet location and nice in the jungle integrated. The approximately 400 rooms are 6 buildings each with about 50 to 70 rooms evenly distributed. If you are here at' hotel show on map '' satellite 'selects or directly with' Google Earth '20 ° 44' 21,07 'N 86° 58' 13,24 ' wireless enters, you can the complex very good. Here ... you see a straight path directly from the pool complex through the lush tropical garden to lobby. North and South of this path are the 6 symmetrical buildings with the rooms. Room The 3 buildings north of the path of the lobby to the pool area are 'privileged rooms', the 3 buildings south this path are 'standard rooms'. With a 'privileged room' you can a restaurant, as well as beach section more used. Apart from that the ' are privileged rooms' something modern equipped, on the balcony two are wooden chairs with braided sitting area and a wooden table, the ' standard rooms' two plastic chairs with plastic table. Our room, a 'standard room', found itself in the complex south-east in the East, so near to the beach. The room was completely renovated and completely reasonable, as well as very quiet. The only thing which one there evenings could hear, one was pool party, which however only once the week, on Wednesdays until 23 o'clock went. Problematic it was however with the standard rooms in the complexes south and south-west. This borders directly at the disco at the hotel and refrigeration the neighboring hotels in the South and were also not renovated. Hotel guests, which we spoken had were accommodated and there, complained. You got a room in the complex South-East (where our room was), or bought a 'upgrade' to a 'privileged room', which 50 US$ per day costs. Front directly at the beach in the north-east there was a round building, which 4 honeymoon suites included. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels changed. Sometimes were towels nice to figures folded, it was however regardless of tip, but probably depending upon which cleaning crew was on site. The rooms were between 10 and 14 o'clock cleaned. Guests: This season the hotel was fully booked, however it noticed at best somewhat by the pool, where we however rarely were. Apart from that are distributed the guests at the meal times is very good on the various restaurants and meal times, so that one does not the feeling had, that the hotel was booked. The guests are to 80% Italians and French, or French-speaking Canadians. The rest is spread over German, Americans and Spanish. Animation: Very extensive, especially by the pool. However mostly only French and Italian-rarely in Spanish or English. Since this is the area that gives us but were not interested, us was the matter. Food& drinks: Breakfast of 7 until 10:30 o'clock, lunch by 12:30 until 14:30 o'clock, dinner from 18:30 until 22 o'clock, snacks like hamburger, which you yourself can, at the buffet from 11 to 18 o'clock. Also there was a snack bar 'Tortuga' always fresh fruit, drinks and salads. Very good, varied, evenings different theme nights such as Caribbean, Mexican, Spanish, Asian, and of course adequate to the guests, Italian and French. There was several restaurants, one has of the pool bar only for guests with 'privileged room' with a view of the sea. The fresh fruit as different kinds of melons etc. Were very good, not overripe, just perfect. By the pool there was a Creperi, where fresh Crepes were prepared. The Cocktail menu was very extensive, mojito, caipirinha, Cuba libre etc. Non-alcoholic cocktails were extensive and good. The juices a had beautiful taste, water and ice cube were clean without Nebengeschmack. Criticism: some dishes should be hot, but they were only warm. Pepsi, seven-up, etc. Out of the machines had often a somewhat bad aftertaste for us not enjoyable. It was the mini bar in the room daily with Pepsi cans and water refilled. Pool and beach: The pool area was very well-kept. There was also very busy, animation, music played etc. On the beach, there was but very nice Corners, where one didn't noticed. And why the pool, if the white beach the turquoise water the Caribbean is waiting? At the beach were however the beach chairs with shade rare. You believe it or not, but a lot of beach chairs were with towels already in the morning at 6 o'clock 'reserved'. Other: in the South-East is the diving school, prodivemex. COM, which was very good. There was also a German speaking dive instructor on site. The further sports program in the hotel was extensive, tennis courts etc. But we did not use it. Excursions: The comments here have naturally nothing with the hotel to do so, but should the information be mentioned: a taxi ride to Playa del Carmen costs 225 pesos, what with an exchange rate of 16. 45 CIRCA 13,68 euros corresponds. Here you will directly at the lobby picked up. Alternatively, you should be the way of the lobby to the main street, where buses drive, on foot go. As this way about 1a 2 kilometer is and a dusty Gravel is, we for the taxi decided. Furthermore we have about our German travel guide locally two trips to the Maja cities booked. One was at 7 o'clock respectively at 5 o'clock a comfortable air-conditioned bus pick up and evenings at 19 o'clock you was in the hotel. The visit was in German language run. Here it is however a solid point of criticism: the bus was in the morning and evenings each about 2a 3 hours busy from other hotels further guests pick up, or again schedule- clearly much too long and annoying. If you look at the Maja cities want to see, there may be better alternative. In short: if you a peaceful hotel at a beautiful beach with a German led diving school looking for, as well as on animation in the hotel no value, you are in the right place here. A 'standard room' in the complex South-East is completely reasonable, quiet and renovated. If you are a room has, a is extra charge the 'privileged room' not justified. read more

The hotel was mostly by Americans, Italians, and French booked. German speaking guests were a rarity and fit so right into the whole ambience and program. The food not according to the Mexican kitchen, rather American. Often was the service staff overtaxed with the characteristics of clean Cutlery, dishes or simple ask like for instance coffee to give. At the pool bar there were often no mugs more for a coffee, everything other you only got in plastic cups. The in and out of the guests ( mostly tours) found around the hour and we found Dauerurlauber very annoying. It ... would have been better if the houses afterwards divided would have. The staff were always friendly and helpful, but it seemed often even overtaxed. read more

Two weeks relaxing vacation really friendly staff, good food and quaint coatis In the jungle the very well maintained complex. The beach was really Caribbean white sand. The rooms were very Spacious and always clean and lovingly decorated. In the variety the food should something for everyone be. We can only recommend the hotel, exactly like a US reisendes couple. read more

Perfect white beach, without rocks in the water and on land, from time to time seaweed at the beach, not disturbing for us. Very extensive Bay, well for walking or jogging. Food in à la carte restaurant is good to very good, in buffet restaurant upscale average, not very much variety. Kids Club available, very friendly staff. Again at any time! read more

the hotel lies direct the white sand beach. The complex consists of small houses, which partly still in the jungle nestle. the nearest town was Playa del Carmen. With the taxi about 25 minutes for 22 American dollar. Here one can buy super, herumflanieren and delicious cocktails at the bars enjoyment. read more

The restaurant manager were not able sufficient staff drop off, so that one for example in the morning for breakfast a cup coffee or water for tea in the period of up to 15 minutes, received! Lunch and mostly very bad cold food, thereby every day the same salads, Chicken and burgers. The manpower was even worse! The additional restaurants (Italian, Mexican etc.) were better in the service area, were however only open in the evenings. Hotel because of its location and the naturalness not recommended however because of the food. read more

The hotel blends in my opinion very good the area a-is totally in the'jungle' built. The grounds of the hotel was fantastic-very well-kept and very nice. It was also always everything clean and well maintained. the majority of the guests were French. German speaking guests there were only a handful of. read more

    we had not a renovated rooms but for us it was enough. It was very modern, but it was clean and as you almost never in the room is, it was fine for us perfectly.

    We were in all restaurants (except the seafood-Specialty restaurant, since we did not seafood food). We enjoyed the food always tasted very good and we had both represent absolutely no health complaints. The waiters all are very nice and accommodating. the cocktails were also very good-only the, you at the pool bar was given, were too strong.

    the staff were always friendly and you got along with English very well. The rooms were always clean. US is once a battery under bed rolled, the we could not find the cleaning of the rooms this was on the bedside table. Additional services we didn't use it.

    the animation team was very pleasant if you say, that you don't interested is, let you in peace (which we found was very much appreciated). I had the impression, ending up in the hands of the guests very good arrival. as mentioned the beach was a dream- the pool is perfectly adequate and was mostly empty. At the beach are always enough beach chairs at the pool were always quickly (I have only seen-never by the pool location, the beach is nice).

    The beach in front of the hotel is simply a dream very, very beautiful, better Sand. The beach was flat, the water was very clear and clean. we had for 3 days an hired car (stayed in Playa del Carmen, Tulum and coba) and two trips (Chichen Itza and island contoy) on tour operators booked. For us it was perfect! I personally have the hotel because of the situation selected-I wanted no 100 hotels in a row and so it was perfect. To Playa del Carmen, you don't need long-we are even with the collectivo (about 35 pesos/person) and with the taxi (225 pesos about) risks.
