In a five star hotel the safe should be free. The minibar is every day filled by.

There was theme restaurants and a large dining room, this were enough for us. All the great food and beverage choices were reasonable, unfortunately the food was almost always cold.

the staff were friendly. With German you can't communicate. Only with English or Spanish. There was no at the front desk the German could speak. The cleaning of the rooms was all right. We had a evening there was no water in the bathroom, we at the front desk reported, it is however no one came. Even after the air conditioning no one has looked.

The access to the internet is too expensive. If activities is important, you should take a other hotel. the beach and the ocean were dreamlike and very clean. the beach chairs, cushions and towels need urgently be replaced. There are too few beach chairs and especially protection from the sun available.

For us it was more a four-star hotel. The furnishings the room was not a five star hotels. The bath was not in a good condition, mold on the walls. On the towels in the bathroom and at the beach were always stains. we had a small Gecko PET in the room, but in these countries, we must be prepared. But we had no mosquito in the room. You should definitely spray against mosquito it. The complex is not very large and therefore offering a clear view, which for us just perfect was. The pools, lobby and beach section were always clean. Unfortunately at this time almost only Americans in the hotel. With German you can in the entire hotel definitely not communicate. One should speak English already.

The distance to the beach can better not be. Playa del Carmen is located about 40 kilometer away. Taxis are too expensive, we are with the (cheap coach) risks colectivo. They hold fast to the street(you must not be sensitive, very quickly and sometimes overloaded). In Playa one can go strolling very nice, or a cocktail in bar allow. We stayed in Playa with easy-tours excursions to Coba and Tulum booked. We can recommend. In the hotel the excursions are twice as expensive.

we had a beachfront room direct at the beach and with wonderful view of the sea. It is one of the best and most expensive room. It has however worth it, since the other rooms seemed to be still older. the room was massive. We had 2 King beds. The shower was very special, because it is open. (inclusive view of the sea) right next to the sink. The toilet is in a separate room.

The hotel has a main restaurant ( buffet), 5 à la carte restaurants, of which 2 are in the same place and thus alternately open, 1 snack bar at the beach and 3 bars. the main restaurant is located directly above the beach. The view of the sea is very nice. The food was not very varied. There was mostly pork or beef, chic and fish and the usual side dishes as salad and vegetables. The quality of the dishes was very good for all inclusive hotel. Only the vegetables was not enough cooked. We didn't spend much time in the main restaurant in the evening eaten, as the mood in the evening not very romantic is. There was mostly much noise (the background and the clearing of the table) and crowd. we're sorry, but it is outside very few tables, so we in the evening only once outside eaten have. Perhaps it is deliberate, as there are so many mosquito in Mexico. lunch is also outside at the snack bar, where it daily free of charge fresh Sushi is. You can also hamburgers, fries, hot dogs or Mexican specialties such as nachos with guacamole order. The staff were everything other than attentive. It seemed, that we or other guests about 10 to 15 minutes there is no Assen and us. it is for the dinner 5 à la carte restaurants. You have to go around 18,30 line up, to get a table. You can choose, if you right now( as long as available) or 08,45 wanted to eat. I recommend however with strong occupancy a cocktail and queue at 18,15, since there are not many tables. Asian restaurant: here we ate. There were 2 different appetizers and 2 different main courses. The food was as in all à la carte restaurants the hotel was very nice prepared and taste of the food are really good. If Chinese or Thai food is expected disappointed. Gourmet restaurant: here we ate twice. On Christmas Eve. The food was really very good and of a high standard. I got a fillet of beef and on Christmas Eve we ate both duck. The service the gourmet restaurant was by far the best. Italian restaurant: here we ate twice. To appetizer there are fresh pizza from the stone furnace and salad. Afterwards one gets spaghetti and a main course. We were happy with the food. It is a pity, that the hotel no Italian CD features, it was not very suitable music. Mexican/Brazilian restaurant: we ate here once Mexican and Brazilian. The food was good, the service both times was OK. You have to know, remember that you are in the à la carte restaurants absolutely 18,30 reserve must, if you want a opportunity to have a place that you would like to eat and only 18,30 or 20,45. It is so, that if all the tables with guests rooms were occupied, it could last a long time, until someone comes, as at best 3 employee present are. Sometimes were the waiters overburdened, especially if we are drinks without ice wanted ☺ the gentlemen must wear long trousers in the gourmet restaurant. I think it is not self-evident, that evening free of charge in a à la carte restaurant food. Which I have ever had. the bars: there is a snack bar, until 10:00 or by in the evening at 17:00 I believe is open. We already mentioned you can also eat from lunch. You wanted for example at 12:00 a drink, you had to stand in line in front of the bar. the other bar is befinder in the lobby. It has only in the evening open. We have the drinks usually not there drunk, but carried forward. there is another bar on the roof of the hotel. We were there however never, since there was only the typical karaoke nights etc. given has, the we didn't really interested have.

the staff were too many friendly, even without a tip. One must not expect, that they kiss the feet, if you tip, nevertheless it is of course, as life. You should speak English or Spanish, to be understood. the cleaning of the rooms was moderate to good. We were hoping for more from a five star hotel. the front desk took our complaints for strong noise the air conditioning and dirty bed serious.(it had at our arrival Blood on the bed sheets) at the air conditioning something was made, it was however afterwards loud, so that we in the night never had switched on. The bed sheets was only after some days changed. Since we had two beds had, this was not so bad. The hammock was the same day mounted, which we enjoyed. the Internet is not free unfortunately, we especially during the Christmas found to be a pity. I had $10 for 1 hour of Internet pay, so that we could write related a short email. Having regard to about 50 minutes the Internet worked not more. I was on the responsible employees pictured, that I am not satisfied with this service, the hotel had manager personal requests, whether we have a repeated access to the internet received. I think this is ridiculous. He told me I should be in a few hours again, what I had done. I have no idea, with the manager really asked, in any case, I told the concierge with, that we a new Internet card and not get free.

The animation was very unobtrusive. So low-key, in 13 days that I never imagined had, that at 11:00 the volleyball take place. Oh well ☺ there is a price a tennis court and a football field. the more expensive access to the internet I already mentioned above. there is a small, expensive shop in the hotel lobby. If you want to shop, you should go to Tulum or Playa del Carmen go. In Playa has a Wal-Mart. the pools were daily cleaned and were very clean. At the beach there are 2 showers. of the almost white beach is narrow but long. He was daily cleaned. the sea was mostly very, very clean and turquoise blue. It has unfortunately rocks in the sea, so you should be careful with the 'swimming' or in the sea. The beach is for walks very suitable. we were only twice snorkeling. Once you get in Egypt was, you couldn't see anything new. Once we had however we were lucky and looked to second time a barracuda. ( direct at the beach of the hotel) the beach chairs and sun screens are spread out well. However there are too few sun loungers and sun screens. We had other guests customize and around 7 hours 13 days get up and two chairs reserve.

The hotel has a manageable size and a beautiful, rather small garden area. It is a older hotel. The staff there are however Trouble on the maintenance. It is a all inclusive hotel, like the majority of hotels on the Riviera Maya. The all inclusive special offer is very good, you the whole day free cocktails and there are several à la carte-restaurants is. The guest structure in December was a little one-sided. It had especially US citizens, Canadians and French, a few Russians, Italian and Spanish. 2 weeks we have not a single Swiss and only a few German see, what we however didn't mind that. The majority of the guests as we were as a couple traveling. There were both young and also older couples. In the hotel were few children present, which we thought was pleasant found. The hotel offers not much for children or families.

the hotel lies directly on the white sandy beach on the Riviera Maya, approximately 1 driving lesson (without guests a/unloading) from the airport Cancun. The next greater city and is about Tulum about 20 to 30 minutes away with the taxi or collectivo. Playa del Carmen is a relatively large touristic city, which is a huge shopping street with various shops, restaurants and bars. With the collectivo (shared taxi) has one about 30 minutes. one of the allowance sights is akumal beach. It is a beautiful, public sandy beach, which known for turtles. At the buffet was something there for every taste. As I have already mentioned: from staff we are enthused. It was friendly, efficient and always ready to help. As something water from the ceiling over the shower dripped we reported this at the front desk and the problem was immediately fixed.

There was every hour choice of sport at which one could participate, for example Yoga, beach volleyball, Dance Courses... Evenings there were shows or music on the roof of the hotel the café del Mar. In the room or at the beach we have never heard.

In particular the staff has a strong praise rating: the staff members were very friendly and attentive. The complex of the hotel is beautiful and very well-kept and the hotel's own beach a dream.

We wanted a relaxed vacation without action, since we were here just perfect. Who Tulum or Playa del Carmen want to see, with the collectivo (shared taxi) for only about 30 pesos go there.

our room was very large. We have but also rooms of fellow passengers seen, the somewhat small (but still absolutely sufficient ) were. Room amenities our room included: two Queen beds, a built-in cupboard, a generous chest of drawers, a large mirror, an airco, a fan, a mini bar (free, was also every day with drinks after wish filled -the wishes you should the service say ), a telephone, a safe (which we didn't use it ), a balcony with 2 plastic chairs, a table, two armchair and a TV. The toilet and the bath tub are located in a separate room, separated from the washbasin, which was before it was a kind of connecting rooms with a large mirror is. the rooms are certainly a bit shabby, but charm and due to the extreme cleanliness the age the room not so much.

Four theme restaurants (asian, Italian, Mexican-Brazilian, gourmet ) and a buffet restaurant offered one wide choice. The buffet was high of high quality, but after three weeks one had simply everything tried several times. Fresh meat and fresh fish there was daily and it was before the eyes of the guests prepared. Very recommendable is the in-house sushi bar. The theme restaurants fluctuate in the quality of the food. We have each twice visited and were only from the gourmet restaurant completely convinced. Hygiene and cleanliness were really reasonable. During our stay found a state control of the hygiene instead. Where we experienced have, this was without complaints. the offered food offer something for everyone, but it repeated everything. Naturally, tips were gladly taken. The general atmosphere is friendly until informal.

To us the staff were always very friendly (also without previous tips ). Also special wishes were gladly and the extent out fulfilled. You should however at least the English (still better the Spanish ) language, because German was not spoken, what one 15000 kilometer from Germany away also not admit. in the dealing with complaints it is very much to their own tune, the one the staff opposite used. German tour operators beat up to 70% on it, whilst the same trip in a travel agency in Playa del Carmen for much less money. Our recommendation is' easy tours '. The central (I-Tours ) is located in Tulúm and Ausstelle in Playa del Carmen. The beach is located right on the hotel and the famous Schildkrötenstrand of akumal are just a few hundred meters away. Snorkel Equipment should one definitely thereby have! Further Mayan ruins are about 2 driving lessons from akumal in coba, and Chichen Ítza. Worth seeing are the cenotes (with water filled caves ), in which you definitely once swim should. The Ziplines have their attraction and one should try it, as it is, on the treetops or lagoons rapidly on a tightrope to drive.

Size was ok. Big double bed, a glass table with armchairs. A built-in cupboard and a large dresser. The bathroom was split, in the open access was the large mirror with washbasin, in the lockable area, bath tub with a toilet. Ceiling fan. Furniture typical of the country and unfortunately this müffelige odor, but disappeared, if you balcony door to the terrace opened... Air conditioning, tv device but only program. Mini bar was broken, was immediately behaviourless changed. Safe there was but didn't use it. The complex was perfect monitored, we have no bad experiences made. Telephone there was also. One evening we had visit from a cockroach.

Several different restaurants, where one per restaurant once a week variety to the buffet will... Additional restaurants unfortunately not used. It was not the üppigste selection and was definitely not our taste, but edible. You will find again and again something, what one tasted. Generally everything was clean. Evenings you were welcomed and brought to the table. There was a lot of effort, it quite for all to make. The complete staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was nice. We tipped on the final day then.

There was animation, a nice speeches, but weren't pushy, if one no said. All together were daily various dances and Salsa, both and so on taught. There were plenty chairs and sunscreens. Water was beautiful. Pool area great. There was even in a back area the entire area a pool, the a water bar had. There were showers at the beach, as a beach bar off course. Disco unfortunately only in the last evening on the roof discovered. Unfortunately! Beautiful outside area at the roof.

+ manageable facilities with 2-story buildings, the directly at the beach were. Every day cleaning of the rooms. Beach bar. Several pools. Wellness against an extra charge usable. We had all-inclusive. Little families, more couples. Mainly americans. - it smelled partly grumpy... We had 10 days and drive for certain again back. Is more of a homey facilities, we will go back. We really enjoyed it. If you fine searches, is not here in good hands. It is good average. Would recommend, at least 14 days to book, as you enough sights all around has.

Though right next to the sea, but by a broad strip of land, where one golfing could, from the main street separately. It drives every day a gemeinschaftsbus, the a for a few Dollar in all surrounding cities leads. We were in Playa del Carmen and Tulum. But we had a taxi driver, the was more expensive, but it was a sort of touristenguide exactly and showed us a lot. Picked us reliable again from or waited on us. Was to summarize price included in the price. Looked in all hotels taxis are available in front of the gates, to get one is safe not a problem. The gemeinschaftstaxi we used only once, but it was fun. In one direction was Playa del Carmen, there you will find a wonderful sandy beach, a rieseneinkaufsstraße, tattooist, markets, restaurants, gift shops, everything your heart desires. Discos. Also the ferry to cozumel, a small lying off island. Was also an experience, we can really recommend. In cozumel, there is the smallest hardrockcafé the world \u263a Excursions are enough offered, either in the hotel with the travel guide book, but it is everywhere in the cities mentioned in this respect. Tulum was in the other direction, very worth seeing. We were there snorkeling. Was a wonderful day! The airport was about 1 hour away.
