We were there at the beginning of february 13 with eBay voucher for 1 time overnight stay with breakfast in this hotel and were positively surprised. All of the staff give great effort the guests satisfaction, even if that was not ideal was, as at the breakfast buffet on 3 february 13. we had 2 glasses geldermann ordered and had 2 ask time, so that the sparkling wine then after 15 minutes eintrudelte. With the refill of the sausages and scrambled eggs, as well as the cold plates (sausage, cheese) was on this morning 'a jour'. But we were not ... on the run and after speech of the staff was eiligst refilled. The quality of the dishes was perfect. The non-smoking rooms with a balcony and beautiful view of Rhein and vosges was very clean, also the bathroom, only the water pressure was so low, that i on sunday morning in the beautiful indoor pool had showered. The konus card, we have beautiful excursions via breisgau-bahn in the kaiserstuhl and to Freiburg done. The timetable you get at the front desk. Parking spaces around the hotel are sufficiently available, besides there is a public parking. We will gladly again and to bring bicycles a little France to cycle paths. read more

With the best hotel in the region, especially if you're in the month december the christmas markets on the french side unsafe want to do. For relaxing is worthwhile the sauna & the pool for a little exercise. Breakfast is reasonable, however during our stay from the staff only after please the buffet freshly refilled, when the trays more than 15 minutes were empty. Unfortunately the kitchen no eye on the buffet & the waiters must be in all self service. read more

We spent the turn of the year in breisach and were more than satisfied. We were very warmly welcomed. And also discharged. Here is a still a good channel requested, i have rarely so nice reception staff experienced, always friendly and helpful. Also the waiters and the cleaning lady. You would always greeted in a friendly manner. We wanted to for example with the train to Freiburg go. The nice lady at the front desk had directly a roadmap ready. For the return trip i mentioned, that we still neuf brisach wanted to visit. And got a map, We had ... a lovely room with a balcony and views over the Rhein and the vosges mountains. Sunset inclusive. We were greeted with a fruit plate and a bottle of sparkling wine welcomes. The room was not huge. However for 2 people enough large and well equipped with a minibar, a tv, plenty of storage space and free lan. If you no cable thereby has can one check-out counters. Also the bathroom had enough storage space and was updated, On new year's eve was a 5-course menu. Delicious! A big compliment to the kitchen. Us it tasted outstanding. The venison was a joy. We really enjoyed it and i could imagine in this hotel another holiday. Breisach is a very nice cozy town. And the Best Western a very recommendable hotel! As expected this hotel chain, we were very satisfied. Here was really everything! Breakfast buffet varied and tidy. We had only booked breakfast, since we during the day were out and about a lot. In the many hostels and ' weinwirtschaften ' of the kaiserstuhl, as well as in the neighboring Elsass you can very good food. In the town itself, we were disappointed, when we in the recommended hotelgasthof in the pedestrian street, with the name of a adjoining German federal state, the Schnitzel quite quickly in the deep fryer with the fries fried has. Also national dishes are ... served at the gasthof in a 3 kilometer away district of breisach the regional known sausage salad also unfortunately with a finished salad dressing of a finished product presented. In the hotel - outside of the restaurant - lacks general on cleanliness; in the room the bathroom floor in particular toilets area stained; beds uncomfortable - mattresses worn out; bathtub shower combination sets regularly bath underwater; other room furnishings were good; breakfast buffet only very slowly refilled; often missing rolls, boiled eggs, sausage etc. read more

The hotel lies raised on a Münster of breisach and offers a wonderful view to the Elsass. We had two nights with half board over Penny-travel for 111,- Euro per person. We had a double room, that for the return trip as a 'smoking room' turned out, since we were eventually surprised, that other rooms on the front door a 'non-smoking' -character was appropriate. Here we would have us in any case requested, that we afterwards ask. We are, in fact, non-smoking, luckily you don't smell. Some seemed dusty, here, in any case a thorough cleaning was! In our ... bathroom was the heater dusty, the windows in the restaurant should urgently be cleaned and we have 3 days long a spider web at room 317 ( perhaps it hangs still) observed, that the housekeeper ignored. Apparently is' routine-blinded '. Guest structure 60 +, which did not disturb us however. Almost exclusively German pensioners. read more

The daily cleaning was nevertheless given, we were not uncomfortable. Here we would have us in any case requested, that we afterwards ask. We are, in fact, non-smoking, luckily you don't smell. The amenities in the room was very good. In the bathroom a hair dryer & tissues, a mini bar, lcd -tv, electric awning on the balcony, a small seating area, cushions for furniture, telephone.

    Both in the morning, as also in the evening were the tables very nicely set, with cloth napkins, candles and a small flower decorations. Everything was clean, now if the windows sparkle would, everything would be perfect. We booked half board. The breakfast was excellent and really sufficient (see photos). If you didn't get full here, couldn't be helped. Every day there were lachshäppchen, different kinds of muesli, scrambled eggs with bacon, fruit salad, three different types of of fruit juices, croissants, different kinds of bread and rolls and various sausage- and cheese. The coffee was also very good and tea was provided in several variations. The dinner one took in buffet form a. The appetizer ( salad buffet and antipastiplatten ) and the dessert were very good! The main courses (1 time fish, 1 time meat, 1 time vegetables, 2 times side dishes) should still be improved, here it was missing in any case at spices. It's worth mentioning that the heavens in the varta guide with 2 diamonds is excellent ( very good heavens, very good service). Just what appetizer and desserts during dinner regards, is this award just. Possibly, the main course the requirements of the guests in our case 90% over 60 received ( salzarmes cook). Improvement of the service section in the restaurant. So could for example no ideal compliment given or it is as our first day in the afternoon a coffee- and kuchenbestellung forget. This must not happen. Nevertheless the staff were attentive and friendly, however not always the expectations fair. We could mention an insight into the kitchen take, here everything was okay ( hard hats, händeschutz etc.)

    At our arrival we were unfortunately not very warmly welcomed, the but then in any case amended as a woman petri at the front desk sat. Again many thanks for the helpful tips! We have even hear, that a guest for the restaurant complained about it, so that it is very professionally handled and we had on the day of departure a small comment, also thankfully accepted.

    The hotel owns a indoor pool and a sauna, which we used very gladly. A small outside area is inviting to stay a while, also here you have with a fantastic view on the Rhein. The indoor pool is with chairs and very good cushions, so that one also a little can relax. The water of the pool is very good temperature. The cleanliness and hygiene was all right, in the sauna very good. There is also a bowling alley, as well as an internet corner (free of charge), which we however didn't use it. Very good: wi-fi in every room!

    Breisach is a very nice town with nice cafes, shops and restaurants. Of course, it recommends to take themselves a trip to the Elsass to make. Collmar is situated just 22 kilometer away and is in any case by car worth a trip! The S-Bahn drives directly from breisach to Freiburg-middle!

Comfortable hotel with great view as in Oberstadt of Breisach, Basse easy to reach, altogether a nice village. Extensive offer to dining and shops, excursions and sightseeing possibilities. The entrance to the hotel is in spite of the ascent with a A6 caravan very easily possible. Also the entrance to the underground car park is easily. The hotel is for a short break very recommendable. Great view on Rhin and the Alsace read more

The hotel is on a mountain, you have a beautiful view of the Rhein. The rooms are good, the paths sometimes a bit complicated. The tarte flambée is top. The pool area great. read more

Was with my wife only a night in the hotel. Staff was friendly and they did everything great folded. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Service very good. Room (superior) was large and with a view of the Rhine. Bathroom big and everything was spotlessly clean. read more

this hotel is recommendable. The view is great on the Rhine, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and rich, it up at the end put everything after. the offer in the menu in the restaurant was very attractive and the food very good. I will definitely come back. read more

Best Western Breisach in Breisach. This is an older building, but the facilities and amenities of the hotel are very good. The rooms are spacious and the pool and sauna area adequate. (Bathrobes free of charge). Breakfast buffet is very good ausgestückt. Bicycles is available free of charge. This hotel offers the perfect location for the region (Colmar, for example) to explore. I can happily recommend this hotel. read more

the hotel is very beautiful located but old are the seventies is nothing more has been made and the service and food were insufficient. We had 4 same standard rooms and ordered and paid for one of the 4 rooms were half as large as ours and had mildew joints in the shower. read more

    The service staff with a only exception scatterbrained and incompetent. It has been my soup on the back and the dress and not even a cleaning offered. The same soup was still on my father spills- not at all. Deals have been promised to us in writing, have not been fulfilled and helplessness a constant companion of the staff. the cleaning of the rooms was good.
