The hotel is located in a quiet area and quite isolated at the lake. Here one has a small hotel servants sandy beach with loungers.
Unfortunately we stayed at the hotel no tourist trail around the lake found. The staff at the hotel is totally friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious enough and clean. Only the fridge we missed. Recommendable overall. read more

First impression: at the reception a girl with badly stained T-shirt - the wore also two days later. Although weeks in advance two adjoining rooms were booked (children! ), offered dispersed. One of them was uncleaned and smelled disgusting. I still changing rooms, but at no time a regret etc. The staff at the front desk was not so friendly throughout the stay. The hotel was certainly not more since the 70 's, renovated. Everything cloudy, beige-brown, worn, balcony railing rusty, bathrooms a shambles, no room safe The castle in a room not working and we had to change about ... 15 times the key card or had that open - not once was the identity checked it! Breakfast not attractive and overpriced, in about 10 minutes drive there are good restaurants in Huntsville. Indoor pool (estimated 8 * 4m) cold and dirty (much sand from the beach), just 2 wooden benches as chairs on the windows, plenty of dirt and dead insects. Outdoor pool (estimated 8 * 4m) also cold but cleaner, about 10 chairs to sunbath. Ca. 30m wide, very beautiful sandy beach with pier and two seaside islands, shade in grove of trees, shallow water sandiges (with fish and a otters). Not enough beach chairs and many persevering. No drinks service at pools and beach. basketball court, but no basketball available. And so on Free Wi-Fi and an internet PC. The Good: The location and the view on the lake, and leisure facilities, especially at the Algonquin National Park (- 37 kilometers (23 miles)), can't be beat. But you can do that from one of the other resorts in the near (e.g. B. Deerhurst, Marriott rousseau) come on. read more

We booked this hotel mainly for its good price, using it as a base for our trip in the Algonquin Parc (approx. An hour drive). The hotel is older, approximately 70 's and therefore it would have been a facelift adequate. However, the room was clean, very big, with sofa, coffee table, desk and a balcony with view of the lake. In Huntsville there were enough shopping possibilities and restaurants. read more
