It was really great, only one thing we didn't, that it not a single German speaking channels on tv was. Everything else was perfect and if possible, we will holidays stay again at this hotel, because if you need a tv, if it so much other can do. read more

We had a nice holiday at the blaumar hotel. The location, furnishing of the rooms was very good. The food was good, it has however a little selection was missing, particularly the salad buffet could have been better. The advantage here was, the one the half board also for lunch could lie and then evenings also outside eat out could. The location at the beach is top. Also the quality from the beach and sea is super. The hotel had international audience: russians, dutch, belgian, swiss and German. I had the feeling the staff could not speak German, so I ... always English spoken. I expect not abroad the someone German understands. The place salou is good, there is a nice promenade with many shops and restaurants. The bus station is nearby so that one quite quickly to the neighboring towns is. Also to Barcelona one comes from there. You can recommend the hotel, we will definitely in 2a 3 years again. read more

Unfortunately, that there is no all inclusive offer gives, entertainment was unfortunately always on spanish without translation, we were disappointed, that we do not in the main building a room got, a side building was when booking and also in the description not the speech. The side building is quite ugly from the outside and earns no 4 stars. read more

Only for free 15 Euro per day, I think very steep! Otherwise good vacation %BLANK%. The area is very nice. Fountain and palm trees are really wonderful. The beach was in the immediate area. The food was very tasty and varied. read more

22 years ago we were for the first time in Salou. Altogether we have 7 or 8 vacation spent. Salou and neighboring towns as cambrils, Reus or Tarragone we always liked it and we could see on the Costa daurada recover good. Since a couple of years it will however always problematic. A German tourist to meet is always difficult( which would not have been so bad) but the German language stierbt from and that is a pity. The Russians the square German in Salou adopted. Whether in the hotel, restaurant, on the street, or beach everywhere only Russians. All ... information only in Spanish, English and Russian. German in vain. Otherwise everything under control. read more

We were after Phingsten in Hotel Blaumar. The hotel lies at the beach only by a street and the beach promenade separated. The water in the sea was warm enough around to swim. Unfortunately there were many jellyfish but not dangerous goods. On the final day all were jellyfish away. The hotel is good but needs to be renovated. At least the room the we had. But it was acceptable for the price. If you like fish eats, is at the buffet well served. No fish, the selection was not so big. Unfortunately spoke only a lady at the front ... desk German. Otherwise one could inform oneself only on English. Pool a bit small however therefor with massaging water jets. Evening entertainment Mainly in English or Spanish. Is very recommendable the trip to the theme park Port Aventura. Ideal for roller coaster freaks. Also the adjoining water park is worth a visit. read more

The hotel was very pleasant the beds were however very bad one has nothing special slept. A second time we would the hotel do not book as the area was very loud. The Cost performance -proportion does not match the facilities. The staff were very friendly. read more

My old lateinlehrer always said: if you don't have the time, the with the time. If it's always so right? The Hotel Blaumar and also the place salou in the last 2 years as amended. The hotel renewed just completely. The pool is niegelnagel new, the rooms renovated (including new bathrooms) and a new category introduced ' exclusive club rooms ', almost everywhere free wi-fi is available (very vorbilich! ) And one on of the guests newly-oriented. For 2 years nor were the osteuropäsichen guests almost exclusively in the local district la pineda to be met. Now the central structure ... of the entire town and of the hotel. I guess the rate of over 70%. 20% spanish, 9% english and 1% other. I believe, in the hotel we were the only german-speaking guests. In the hotel is now everything Eastern Europe focused. Menus in russian, ausflugsbroschüren almost only in russian, front desk staff and gastropersonal speaks fluent russian, but lacking now occasionally even with english. As far as that is concerned, we have neither the place nor the hotel recognized. The hotel itself is still first class. In particular the extremely good dining is the hit (see pictures). The village itself is developing for 20 years not further. It puts still on massenbilligtourismus. Remarkably, the dutch pubs extinction (there were while we were there also hardly still dutch). 5 years ago was salou still a dutch stronghold. Even the ' skihut' was closed. There is still no, optically, prestigious bistros. But vodkapartys & russian nights. It is probably only a matter of time, until the first 'real' russenkneipen open. There are other places in Spain ( for example meleonres on Gran Canaria and also Cala Ratjada on Mallorca) already much further. You developed for tourism. You will have to wait and see, whether salou here on the right horse has set itself. Still the town and the Hotel Blaumar for families perfect. It is also suitable for people, their russian sparchkenntnisse extend and for those who want it as a delight feeling, on vacation no single word to hear german. Oh yes. By the way, there is also no magazine shops more. read more

Positive-close to the beach (only 1 road separates the hotel from the beach and the palm trees Promenade)-(sand) beach was not crowded, the hotel has a good location. (Holiday season will certainly be different)-the room has a small kitchenette (great for self-catering. Supermarkets are nearby and you can buy cheap. Above all else, fish and seafood) negative-the sea was on some days dirty. Dirt was washed ashore.-our room was only superficially cleaned.-breakfast room crowded, noisy. Both the quality and taste of the food could have been better.-payment amount was higher than in the Internet and ... booked. Pay attention! -Foreign language skills were not really good. You don't have to be able to speak German, but English should you expect. You could get along. (Russian could many, because many Russians in Salou holiday) conclusion: for a four star hotel a little disappointing. For the very short stay '' It was fine for us. All other local hotels, the Blaumar looked at best. read more

Have stayed here several times, I was with my husband and friends in Blaumar. We stayed at the hotel always satisfied, although the number of Russians slow prevails. Itself nothing terrible, people like you and me, but their actions and, above all, their food species are already took some getting used to. Languages: Russian, English, Dutch, German. The dining room is very noisy during mealtimes, as the chairs with steel legs and move in the noise. The food is good, but it might sometimes be warmer. The rooms: bedroom, living room with a small kitchen, bathroom and balcony were large ... enough for three people. The new pool with sufficient very good. The path to the beach three minutes. The beach itself was very clean and at least three-five kilometer long to cambrils. Tying up bus (in front of the door) and train easy to reach. Reus airport 15 minutes by taxi. In the hotel's own bar (inside and outside) to help guard always friendly waiters. Good entertainment in the evening for children and adults. The place offers enough entertainment, as long as you nothing exceptional. Good shopping in Salou, cambrils. I will often stay at this hotel again, just because of the long beach. If one wants to see something else. read more

The breakfast was OK, dinner was not good but the. The food were partly much to cold. Sometimes you had freezing cold (but not frozen) and also the salad was unpleasant refrigerator cold. read more

Mid-October were we with our three year old daughter 1/2-twelve days in Salou and stayed there in Blaumar. The good first: the hotel is not the newest, but everything was clean and the staff was always friendly. At least one front desk staff spoke very good German-you can probably also not ask for more. Otherwise you can on english, french and Spanish, of course inform. Convenient: those who, like we with the (rental) car can free the car park on the hotel car park (is but not secure). The child care has fallen our daughter good, it was a lot ... of handicrafts, painting and playing. There are several days it was evenings after the mini disco, 21:00 until 21:30 by the, at ten o'clock hour from various shows. We have seen artists, magicians and a Polynesian dance troupe, all good Qualitiät. Our daughter thought it was great as well. The most important thing to do at the beach: the beach is really beautiful, clean and is right on the other side of the street. However, we were disappointed by the hotel dining, the four stars not is fair in Spain: we have made several times and the food was at holiday three to three 1/2-star hotels better or at least equivalent. It was hardly any variation at breakfast: a lot of sweet and greasy (english breakfast), at least fruit. We had only booked breakfast. The bread was always much to quickly on the toast slide, so that almost every twice twice toasted. The coffee from the automat tastes (Cafe Americano), if you on the variants with milk powder such as cappuccino declined. Tip: better take the milk from the buffet. Of the four coffee maker were usually only two in operation, so that the other two long queues formed, to the breakfast tables between the Windows-annoying for all guests. The evening or lunch was offered us for additional 4.60 euro per person (daughter: 2.30) and meal. After a view of the buffet we have therefore thankfully declined. For the price you can expect meter M. n. also not much. Right next door is an excellent restaurant it but (arena restaurant), in the children of guests even free food-Blaumar must. If you like Indian eat: it is a nice, good and cheap in Salou: the eastern eye to 6:30 p.m. open. If, as we, in the early evening food, must watch out: the majority of the restaurants in and to Salou made during our stay only to eight to nine or even on. Perhaps the is but during the peak periods. The pool is unfortunately not heated and was also at 22 °C air temperature much to cold to swim in. For the next season, the pool area is according to a staff member of the mini club are completely newly decorated. Then get also the mini club new rooms at the spa. Currently is a small hut beside the pool. The SPA tears unfortunately also one from the stool, especially if you only sauna user 45 minutes again out must still to rigorously. Tiling water to flush the seats there were also not-the is a bit disgusting. The room are not particularly large, both from the dimensions, as also the amenities: you must meet with four large and four small plates, four glass cups, four large glass cups liquor, two sektgläsern, a pot, a pan and a bit of cutlery do. No microwave, no kettle, no toaster. There is a something feeble hair dryer in the bathroom. The living room, by our daughter spent the nights on the sofa, is only by a sliding door separated the bedroom. The is a better privacy. For parents, whose children have a light sleeper, might be a problem the. On the day of departure we had a unpleasant experience at breakfast with a piece of chocolate cake, the old and stale intoxication tasted-inedible! The hotel castle on the same day, at the end of the season, maybe had actually more out. We want to make the Blaumar but not eaten, because it is probably one of the best in Salou. We have also met several other guests, the five to 20 years for regular guests. So if you with the food and the meager facilities can arrange, is here correct. read more

It was a very nice stay, it has nothing missing, you can recommend it only. The positive reviews agreed, could we not understand the negative. The staff is very friendly, one comes also with the German language, the food is excellent, it was also always surprises with the meals, the arrived with the kids. The drinks in the evening one comes best (you must pay for the drinks the) with a liter bottle of water ☺ The room are large and the cleanliness is noticeable. The area is wonderful to Salou, the beach just fantastic. It hjat us nothing missing ... and we will keep the vacation in good memory. Whether it was a benefit in October to travel know we not, but it was not crowded, it was ample parking space for free and the weather was always hot. read more

When reading the recent negative reviews about "my" hotel (I'de come here regularly since almost 20 years), I was a little confused. Had really that many things changed in the last 10 months? Had the prices become that exorbitant? Had the staff speaking foreign languages been fired? Had the three coffee machines (which made normal coffee as well as latte macchiato, espresso, cappuccino, etc.) been replaced by usual cheap coffee makers or were these just mysterious reviews which weren't always exactly true? I was really curious about my holiday. read more

    Little tip: Book at least category B (sideways sea view) and hope to get a room on the 6th floor (but please on the right side of the hotel). The view over the villas towards the yacht harbour and over the beach would certainly delight you. If you wanted, you could pay extra to get an upgrade for a club room (6th and 7th floor). Each of these rooms had a large roof terrace with pool chairs and a free champagne service. This could only be booked on site (not offered by tour operators in advance).

    The food was a matter of taste, of course. But: Please stick to the truth when describing the facts. There were three fully automatic coffee machines. I really enjoyed having a freshly ground cappuccino for breakfast. In a random bistro, it would cost 2.80 euros. I don't understand how people could declare it as filter coffee. It – also the normal coffee – was freshly ground coffee. The food: There were for example an about 6-7m long cheese bar, various kinds of mussels, king prawns, salmon, gilthead, paella, calamari, salmon steaks, various antipasti, lamb and normal steaks almost every day. To avoid any misunderstanding: I mean at the same time! Viennese Schnitzel with potato salad or sausages couldn't be found here.

    Someone here wrote that the staff didn't know any German and just very little English. But that's wrong. Joseph, the head of the reception, spoke fluent English and German, and so did Fenda, his right hand girl. Actually, everyone (except the maids) knew English. I'd describe the service as particularly friendly and good. It was top. For example, there were complete toilet articles in the room, handkerchiefs and sewing thread included. The hotel extras were good as usual. If you for example wanted to watch the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid live in Camp Nou – no problem!!! The hotel staff made it possible.

    It was a quiet family hotel, no club area such as Robinson or Magic Life. Therefore, the entertainment programme was rather limited. The pool was so-so... well, but the near beach was a lot better. There was a small fitness and spa centre. Various gaming machines for children, a kids' pool with kids' club and a slide.

    Situated near the yacht harbour, in the quality tourist area – outside the actual hotel zone (the so-called zone touristica). Therefore very quiet. Almost right at the beach. Plenty of high-end boutiques (from Prada to Gucci to Armani) and very good restaurants (Villa Alexander and Arena, for example) nearby.

Apart from the great location is nothing positive to highlight what you it can. The food was very, very bad! No choice, presented not beautiful, the coffee comes from the automat yourself get and the staff speaks no must speak German and only very bad english.
