Super hotel for a city trip

My reviews be based on direct comparison to other new york hotels. In New York are hotels often small, dirty, unfriendly and clearly getting old. Compared to this, the country inn a real inside tip. Clean hotel with large, clean rooms for a unbeatable reasonable price.
The hotel is only 2009 built and accordingly well equipped and planned. The service is friendly and efficient, the standard other 4 stars hotels in ny, for a 2,5 star hotel in other words a real qualitätsaussage.
The often criticized breakfast is a particular review value: you should in my opinion keep in ... mind, that a) in many other new york hotels free breakfast not at all available and b ) american hotels often only unhealthy and scant breakfasts offer. Compared to this, the country inn bananas, yoghurt, milk, coffee, choco, granola mixtures, waffles to bake, saftkonzentraten, bagels, sweet rolls, honey, cream cheese, jams, peanut butter, egg and frikadellen in my eyes quite spacious. Whoever expected more must this free offer not sense, but can in the town eat.
The location is safe but quiet. To New York City it is 10 minutes with the subway, the connection is very good. Another advantage is the convenient access to the airport jfk. read more

Hotel rooms on the 9. floor with a great view on Manhattan!
Large bed, every day fresh towels. Flat screen tv. No street noise. Window leaky. Air-conditioning to heat-top! Buffet breakfast adequate. American, very sweet! Always fresh donuts! \u263a fruit, coffee, yoghurt. Very good! Near the hotel, on foot in 2 and 5 minutes walking distance are 2 metro stations and the airtrain the to the airport goes! To Manhattan on Times Square it took you about 10 minutes! Next to the hotel is a petrol station on the you can buy everything. From tapeverband if you umknöchelt and the ... ankle sprains, up to fresh coffee and fresh food. Simply super. To make sure a third cheaper as in Manhattan! The metro card for one week we have wholeheartedly exploited, because you have to take the metro everywhere quickly and easily reachable. read more

Great and cheap hotel, with great traffic connection (subway ), room top, breakfast typical american, sweet, toast, bagels, waffles, jams, keloggs, and so on, one becomes well full. The hotel lies directly at the border with Manhattan only by the water separately. Subway 5 minutes on foot (Queensboro Plaza). Train runs every 2 minutes from the roof of the hotel you have a great view on Manhattan, staff very friendly and the know what they are doing. We find that the hotel deserved more stars. read more

Air conditioning very loud. Only after the panel from built had, it was bearable. Breakfast room way too small for the size of the hotel. Room but otherwise big and clean enough. Unfortunately no view of the city, because construction. Luggage can for a late check out only in the hotel lobby will be turned off. On demand they said: this is still never which way. read more

We were from the 11-6-2012 in this hotel, and are loved, this hotel has in any case deserved one star more. It is located in a commercial area of Queens, but with the metro the from the hotel 2-minute walk away, is you in about 5 stops, and the beautiful is that the metro line 7 all 5 minutes comes. In about 45 minutes you are also in Conney Island, right next to the sea, I can only recommend. The hotel is great furnished, furniture is well maintained, coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, are in ... the room included beds were daily been smoothened, but in the 8 days not freshly referred. (some shortcoming) free WLN breakfast was OK, coffee, tea, juices, water, toast, egg, jams, Cream cheese, honey, yoghurt, cereal, Donuts, Bagels, waffles, bananas. Small tip, close to the hotel there are small stores, because you get sausage and cheese, then it tasted how at home. And the best right tomorrow at 7 o'clock go out for breakfast, as from 8 o'clock it is really full, and there are not many seats.
I would this hotel book immediately again. read more

We would recommend this book this hotel again at any time. The rooms are for American standards but very big. The rooms were very clean and with a fridge and a microwave equipped. We had a room with views of the city, that was especially evenings very nice.
The free breakfast something from the hotel offered is OK. The breakfast room is very, very small for the number of rooms, we had however lucky every morning to get a table, or you could be breakfast but also on the room mIT can take. Variety you should of course not expect ..., but it was enough to get you started-) and so you save some dollars.
From the location ago the hotel is also great not in times 5 minutes you are at the subway and then about 4 stations up to the Times Square. I think this hotel was a good alternative the overpriced hotels in Manhattan even. read more

Value for money is very good. You should from the breakfast not too much expect. Very small area and little choice! The rooms are well equipped and were clean!
The city view rooms offer a very good views of Manhattan which is really worth it! (we were in the eighth floor of 9 )
For a city break the hotel is perfectly okay! You can sleep well, and it is relatively clean! There were couple hair in the bath tub, the length definitely not by us, but I can overlook given of the price. read more

The hotel lies in a quiet area of Queens, where you even at night with the window open sleep. Whoever just only around the corner would like there in the restaurant something to eat or drink has bad luck there is not.
In the perimeter of at best 10 minutes there are 3 subway-stations ( Queensbridge, Queesboro Plaza and queens Plaza) with you in 15 minutes on time square or every other place of the city quickly and easily can reach.
From the airport is the fastest and easiest possibility the hotel to reach with the taxi kostet45 $or with ... the air train to Jamaica and in the subway transfer costs 7. 5$.
Because the hotel for new York proportions very cheap there were also many younger guests.
The breakfast is not the best, but it is enough for a good start into to start the day.
The breakfast room is a bit small who thus something longer sleeps that must already times to wait to a table became free. Or as we early get up and all alone have.
It the breakfast only that Styrofoam plates and cups are bothered us not, were the tables fast cleared get up and bring in the garbage throw.
The room and bathroom is clean and spacious, there is a microwave, fridge a very silent air conditioning the cooled and heats both fast and good.
If the hotel already is so favorable, you should definitely a room with a view of the skyline take is worthwhile always.
Wireless internet is in the room also free. read more

We had a very pleasant stay at the Baymont Inn. The continental breakfast was OK, a little variety would have been nice. General the breakfast was very sweet (donuts, waffles, Bagels).
The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the level of equipment OK. The area is not much, you is however easy access to Manhattan. For the cheap price we had much less than expected. read more

We were the 6. time in New York and here we found the largest rooms, with the best facilities (microwave, internet, fridge, soaps, shower gels, number of towels).
Early we could for about 80,- € a night stay-a bargain.
The train runs 3 minutes on foot away from the hotel and 1 station to the centralpark, after 4 stops you had the central train station. The express trains bring in 10 minutes on the Times Square or the Wallstreet.
Breakfast is extensive: cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, jam, cream cheese, choco, coffee, tea, juices, fresh waffles - really great and ... without an extra charge. The breakfast room is however nothing special large-waiting time possible.
Free newspapers in the lobby from.
Nearby the hotel, there is however no pub or restaurants. There one should already with the train go.
Who by car will find on the doorstep a few free parking.
We love New York and would not hesitate to come back to this hotel.
By the way: from Newark airport to the hotel with the taxi costs about 120,- Dollar and took depending on traffic around 1 to 2 hour! Best with the train journeys if physically possible and remember that most of the ny metro stations lots of stairs have ☺ read more

the hotel lies about 5 minutes from the next Subway-station, from there you are in about 10 to 15 minutes in the middle of Times Square. The location is so (especially for the price) was perfect. Directly next to the hotel is a gas station, you small Snacks and drinks can buy. A supermarket, subway (sandwiches) and Dunkin donuts is only 5 minutes away.
for breakfast there was always the same, but it was perfectly OK:
Bagels, Donuts, toast, bread, fresh waffles, yogurt, different cereals, bananas, coffee and juices. For supply always provided.
in the fitness room there is a ... cross-walker, a treadmill and a tower for different weight lifting.
the rooms were great, clean and well equipped.
if we go back to new York city, then in any case in this hotel! Absolutely recommendable. read more

I my previous speaker just to add. All the staff were very nice, although discreet. Check in and check out was a breeze!
the breakfast for American proportions top unfortunately it looked, the later you came from all the more desert. But that was due to the guests and not at the hotel. It was self service with crockery and there were guests, and it is not, as planned, remains cleared their own way- sad!
the room room was big enough and fairly new, comfortable bed. Ours was at the back and so we could open window sleep, so it ... was nice and quiet. We have the climate, the very silent worked- not at all used. The small coffee Maker worked perfect! As well as the refrigerator and the microwave.
it was cleaned properly, we didn't find fault!
the bathroom had a lot on the file under a huge area large mirror -great! The hair Dryer worked great, and there were always fresh soap or shampoo and lotion in portion packages.
I would recommend this hotel reason the convenient location and its price absolutely recommend! Furthermore, you know at one this vibrant city, the peace and quiet in the hotel rooms was much appreciated, so we were anyway!
Enjoys your stay! read more

Solid hotel with super view at night in new York. The setting with the illuminated skyline is impressive. The hotel lies nearby one underground station, so that you can quickly get to Manhattan is. The hotel is well maintained. From the sometimes I didn't see bugs that have been raised, although I have actively sought. The breakfast is for a hotel of this kind. If you are lucky, you can even free parking in front of the hotel. Unfortunately there are direct vicinity of the hotel except one Gas station hardly any possibilities for shopping and eating. As mentioned, as ... a departure point new York very good. read more

the hotel lies only 200 meters from the metroNode at the Queen Hillsboro-bridge. This brings you easy access to about 15 to 20 minutes to Manhattan. The atmosphere around the hotel seemed a bit dark-you feel but nothing unsafe. Right next to the hotel there is a gas station, in which everything for those small hunger and thirst to get. The breakfast is adequate and good, the rooms are clean, the staff friendly. Computer access in the lobby-but very often occupied. Direct metroAccess to and from JFK airport, in about 30 minutes achieved. The hotel is a great Manhattan alternative ... with outstanding price performance ratio. read more
