Gorgeous area on the river ( unfortunately also on the road) - good for direct walks on the former site of the national garden Festival. The house's manager had a talent for great decoration-a feast for the eye each corner-always up to date and beautiful. Should unfortunately the clairaudience the room ( in the south wing) recuperate. Unfortunately, otherwise would be the hotel a dream. Spa area small but also to be comfortable. Breakfast buffet is good. Room large with a terrace ( room 305) and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately no that great dark. To the evenings read you had to ... a stronger light bulb give. Massages and Frisurbesuch possible. Good value for money. All are very pleasant and tried hard. read more

Supposedly it is better in the main building to stay, as in the neighboring house. I stayed at the neighboring house and in the last corner of it. Not much bigger than a closet and lots of stairs and long corridors, in order to arrive there.
The room was as good as not dark, so it was at this time of the year already before 6 o'clock the clock in the room.
The WiFi didn't work and the spa area was closed.
Liked a lot the idyllic location, directly at a river and a nature park. Good for jogging. To ... the center from Amberg it is a good and happy 20 minutes hike. read more

I was there for a training and i the hotel has very much. The hotel rents bikes or took care of that, that for small money which concerned.

A very nice and pleasant hotel, the atmosphere is very pleasant especially the piano bar, the hotel has charm, the single room was a bit small but okay. Very good breakfast buffet, the food in the restaurant was unfortunately very expensive unless you select one of the daily buffets offered, these are good and the price (between 14-17,50 euros) is good. Free Wiki in the entire hotel!, the service is very good overall. read more

The hotel has a small spa with a sauna, relaxation room and salt grotto. Is always basement, is however comfortably furnished.
The bar is quite comfortably, the food was however - for the price - nothing special.
The room was already a bit shabby, but clean.
The bathroom was in good condition and clean.
For breakfast there was, in my opinion, everything you in a star hotel expected. Freshly fried egg, orange juice, bread and brötchenbüfett, different sorts of sausage and cheese (here would be however somewhat more choice desirable), coffee and tea, fresh fruits and much more! read more

We were now already twice in the wire and had great Schlöß'l every time felt very comfortable. The service was perfect anbsolut, the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms the hotel is individually equipped and very comfortable, so you immediately feel at home. The bathrooms are very well maintained and nicely equipped. A trip after Amberg I anytime again in live Schlöß'l, because it is simply beautiful there! read more
