Since we about 25 years already once this camp visited, we did a few expectations. Unfortunately these were not fulfilled all. Our tent was in the middle of the bush and we had no view of the river. We asked at the front desk for a change and they gave us first were told that it would be, but then nevertheless did not work. Since we a very good driver ( thank you Denis) had, whren we finally very much on the way and spent not a lot of time at the tent and camp. The service ( thanks ABI) ... and the food in the restaurant were good and accommodating. As we further 2 nights in the Mara Bushtops booked, should the transfer then ( according to Kabs ) the Intrepids apply. We were on the day before the departure at the front desk ask and you told us, that it want to organize. Also the manager in our experience during dinner mitgeteit, that he would take care. Unfortunately knew you on the morning of our departure still not quite as it goes further. For breakfast we were told, that the Bushtops picked up would. It was since general chaos. Also other guests knew at this morning when your flight is, etc. My impression was, that the manager only a decoration and his staff for the most part. Overburdened are.
We were then from an old Jeep picked up, without official label. This meant, that we on the way by the Kenyan authorities stopped and parking pay should. This has I however then clarified, after presentation of the documents from KABS.
In Bushtops we were so warmly welcomed, that this experience quickly forget. read more

A wonderful, excellent tent camp in the Mara, anytime again! The safari and the camp were worth every penny, I would very much have liked to have stayed longer! Of every friends Camps in the Mara, and there are at least 6 different, this was by far the nicest! read more

The Mara Intrepids camp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara in Masai Mara river. After landing on the ol Kiombo Airs trip we were greeted by our guide James, the US in the next three days, the Masai Mara and wildlife has picked up, in the land Rovers and brought into the camp. The Mara Intrepids has 30 luxurious, nice equipped Tents, mostly with views of the Masai Mara. The service is excellent, to begin with the morning Wake up with coffee or tea in the tent on the lunch and dinner opened restaurant to evening hot ... water bottle in the bed. Lunch is usually offered a buffet, evening menu served. There are three game drive the day: around 6:30 o'clock, to 10:30 o'clock and 15:30 o'clock. We have the opportunity used, the two personnel in the morning and to the breakfast and picnic, into the savanna drives. In the afternoon you can relax in front of the tent and the hippos in the Masai Mara, or the time by the pool pass. The whole camp wonderful in the middle of nature integrated, sometimes at night even bush baby to a restaurant. The animal wealth of the Masai Mara has our expectations totally outreached. We could even a lion hunting, several Löwenrudel, a Gepardenjagd and Gepardin with two young watch. We also have the leopardess olive as well as her daughter and her adult son Bahati seen. Many thanks to the whole team Intrepids James and, the this trip for us to have an unforgettable experience. And the rhino not a good reason we saw is, in order to come back in the Masai Mara and Mara camp Intrepids. read more

Very good hotel with comfortable tents in Masai Mara river. Great bathroom with body lotion, etc. nice reception with drinks and warm wet towels. The special thing about this camp is the suspension bridge over the river; impressive! There are own Landcruiser (with drivers) with which you can go on a safari. Our Landcruiser drove from the side of the road, we had to go over the bridge. There is an internet cafe, a shop and a swimming pool. Electricity at certain times in the morning and in the evening. A hair dryer at the front desk check-out counters. The ... food in the evenings was offered in the form of menu, lunch buffet. There is a large restaurant with roof, you can also eat outside. We had a little surly service at the dinner. The best part is the bar directly on the river with a view of the suspension bridge. In the river was a hippo and antelope wandered. The camp is equipped with Elektrozäunen secured to the river. They spoke English, a few words of German. read more
