We stayed on the 12th floor of the tower building and had a large balcony with spectacular view of palm beach. The unit was recently updated with king bedroom, living room and full size kitchen. The beach was wonderful and the pool area clean and uncrowded. An added plus is the free water shuttle which will take you anywhere on palm beach. We plan to come back next year. read hotel review

Great beginnings for a wonderful vacation

We stayed at the Divi Phoenix for the first three nights of our ten night vacation. We had a one bedroom in the new tower section. I truly enjoyed this hotel as it has two bathrooms one off the master bedroom and one as you enter the unit. Both have stand up showers and one has a Jacuzzi bath. The two bathrooms made it easier to get ready to go out a night. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit that is great for quickly drying items without having to leave the unit. Rooms were very clean ... and housekeeping was great everyday with any extras needed. There is a nice pool bar where you can also get apps, snacks and lunch our dinner menus. Right next to the pool bar is another sit down restaurant and entertainment on the weekend. There is also a deli type area that you can get good sandwiches, coffee, breakfast items and ice cream. read hotel review

Rooms as good size, one bedroom has two baths and an pull out coach. Full kitchen with dinning table and breakfast bar.

We are not big breakfast eaters but the deli had great egg sandwiches made to order everyday as well as fruit and box cereal offerings. Fresh coffee, tea and chai (hot or cold) available all day. Sandwiches were reasonable and delicious. Did not eat in the sit down restaurant, as there are so many choices close by with everything from pizza to gourmet meals.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the staff's helpful suggestions and funny stories. They all speak several languages so you can feel right at home. We had no complaints and our room was always clean and ready for us every day. I am not sure about a doctor in house but most either have one on call or can get you in contact with one quickly.

Did not engage in any sports activities. Beach was clean, water was excellent and just to the right of the swimming area there is a coral for snorkeling. They also have jet skies for rent. There is a water shuttle that goes from the Divi to the Marriott so if you didn't want to stroll the beach you can take a shuttle which I think makes several stops along the way.

The beach is steps away from the pool and groomed nicely. You can walk the beach all the way to the last hotel (the new Ritz) or in the opposite direction towards the low rise hotels. Not to far down the road is the shopping plaza where there are many restaurants, pizza, ice cream and bars to visit nightly. In this area are many shops as well. You will have plenty to do just minutes away with a car or taxi. You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes. The lobby has an information desk that you can book excursions, get restaurant reservations or information. They are very helpful and usually there until 6:00 pm most days. There is a mini-mart souvenir shop just as you walk in the front door and a couple of dress shops as well.
