Hotel Vista^{(3 stars)}

Never again hotel vista in brno (brno) we were on a business trip to brno and have in the hotel vista a double room for 2 weeks. We have already been in 2012 there, however just for one night and were very satisfied, had a clean and great room. I cannot explain what has happened? But i'm sure it was on price. There our stay for 2 weeks was planned, i with the hotel negotiated a discount. We were in a double room there the on the first glance very nice was, if you details it's expense. Unfortunately we had ... in the showers problems with our shower head (calcified strongly) and the complained at the front desk. A very nice madam at the front desk us then a different room offered (although we only a other shower head wanted). The woman was very nice, but its remaining colleagues can not say. Unfortunately with the room changing not easy work, as well as the 2. room there again problems with the shower head. We are therefore once again the front desk where schichtwechel took place. As we again this shortcoming complained, has the man at the reception very excited and czech said: the you didn't ask for more if you already so paid little (i have understood this, because i native from Poland come and the languages are very similar). The president was very disrespectful and rude and he has every minute out the us annoying. After 2 weeks in the hotel vista i can say, that the hotel is ok for a few nights but not for a longer stay. The staff are mostly very rude, you had the feeling the everyone did what he wants, after the slogan if the cat from the house is to dance the mice on the table. (of the chef/boss far and wide no trace.) Even the bill gets the staff at reception not regulated. We were so honest and the frontdesk employee i said, that a bit with the bill cannot be true. But they wanted to hear and told us several times with the bill everything okay is. We left and behold, a few hours later i get an email from the hotel in the hotel apology for an alleged sytempfehler in abrechnungsprogramm (in my opinion unable staff and guaranteed no sytempfehler ) and with the please the remaining amount to remit. In a nutshell: - very unfriendly staff, especially at the front desk (it gave maximally 2-3 exceptions) - knowledge of german was rather small available, with english one comes rather further - breakfast was all right, but unfortunately not varied - rooms are large enough, one has really lots of space - bathroom is also large enough - a couple of rooms should be renovated a bit (silicone seams, painting, new shower heads) - the food we also found good, whereby the day food not so great was - staff sits on the counter (front desk) and greets when you the hotel enters. We can't recommend the hotel (as a last resort for one night it is okay) Are this hotel never again book. We must this year once again on business after brno and we for the hotel vista decide. read more
