The Alexander hotel in noordwijk aan zee is a four-star hotel and has approximately 60 rooms. All spaces give you a good and clean impression. The guests for our stay came from different countries. Within the week found in the hotel different seminary or meetings. In noordwijk already some hotels for a short stay booked, this was by far the best. Particularly the breakfast we in such a way in Holland have never seen. Very much selection and Everything was high quality and delicious. The location is also good, approximately 300 meters to the beach promenade with some good pub. The Alexander hotel I certainly again see! It does everything it says on the tin. The location is approximately 3 to 5 minutes from the beach, very relaxed to go. Definitely the Hofdstraat visit! As small additional information which we these August unfortunately not had: In A - hotel costs of the bathrobe the azzuro wellness (lounge area) nöttig is only 5 €and several days. In a wellness it costs 7,50 Euro and is only per day usable. A solarium glasses to bring to the benefit of the Solariums and sunbeds. Can be bought on site. Around 3 to ... 5€ read more

The hotel lies in the nice town Noordwijk on the North sea coast. The cities of Amsterdam, the Hague, Rotterdam shortly reachable. The keukenhof (large Floral park-only in the spring opened) lies only approximately 20 minutes on foot. The building is furnished nicely and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff - both at the front desk, as well as in the restaurant and at the bar - is at any time approachable. The rooms are big enough and attractively furnished. The staff the very centrally located hotels were always very accommodating, professional and very friendly. Very appreciated we, the varied breakfast buffet, as well as the dinner menu. In such pleasant atmosphere rarely used! A very nice hotel with charm, everything was super clean, all the staff were very nice and always helpful. The breakfast was very rich and everything very delicious and freshly. at our travel time there were no children at the hotel, everything was very pleasant and quiet. Family run hotel with atmosphere. We had a very nice, quiet room toward the garden with a small balcony. There, you could still cozy in the afternoon sun, when you are done with the beach and from the walk in hotel. The only thing lacking was, just like already mentioned, a small fridge. Altogether, the hotel made a very clean and neat impression. During our stay, there were both families with young children and couples every age structure guests at the hotel. read more

    The rooms are big enough. You can sit on the balconies. If the chairs are too uncomfortable, will take the very comfortable armchair from the room.     The hotel is located 3 minutes from the beach. Apart from the Grand hotel * Huis ter Duin * no other hotel, which has direct access to the beach, without road in between. Otherwise is a great little place Nordwijk, with boutiques, a supermarket, many beach pavillions and unfortunately Boulevard, with restaurants, brasseries, pizzerias etc. Door to door followed one another - partly at inflated prices and poor value for money. Amsterdam, Scheveningen and Den Haag are not far away, if you want to see more .

    We had overnight/breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the buffet was constantly refilled. Fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice ... Great. Unfortunately the scope, the choice was quite limited: two kinds of sausage, two types of cheese ... In other hotels you could take a glass of champagne. This is all for the price too little and not worthy of a 4 **** hotels. And the hit: If you want a glass of bottled water for breakfast, the cost 2.50 EUR extra!!!!

    Contrary to the Hotelankündigung is NOT on the Boulevard, but about 400m further on to the "inland view" on a traffic circle, the kind interchange station for Noordwijk is. If you room to the street, and that was what we had, so he not a very light sleeper, insufficient relaxing night. Take the traffic during the day no end, at night is a little less. We stayed in July for 4 days in this hotel. Positive note: Friendly staff (especially in the bar), good access to the beach and town, great furniture, very clean, good quality food (also in the accompanying beach bar Alexander Beach). But improvements could be achieved in the following: There are no mini bar; the rooms to the sea were to busy road (very loud at night; hotel is located in a roundabout), so you better rooms at the back; there could have been to a breakfast full of fresh fruits instead of dried fruit / fruit salad served. All in ... all a bit too expensive, but still very attractive hotel! You can see mentioned above. Points, enjoy a trip! read more

    Nice spacious rooms with ample storage space. Beds were a bit soft. Spacious shower. Everything was very clean. 3 German channels could be received. However, there is no mini-bar. A bit further anticipate "old-fashioned" style .... See also run photos!

    Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Fresh orange juice available, as well as fresh fruit and daily changing meats, cheeses and Süßteilchen. Also at the cereal was the one or the other kind of be replaced. Various teas were also available. We had a 3 -course menu (34 EUR). That was so far in order. Outside you can find cheaper food and caters for every budget and in every something.

    The service in all areas was normal. Food and drinks were served quickly and smoothly. One downside is that we also wanted to rent for a deposit no umbrella ... Allowed for a 4 star hotel not happen.

    We had a room facing the street (no 201 ). The aforementioned noise from a Vorbewerters regarding nightime party RETURNEES we can only agree. Between 2 and 3 :00AM on the street is an enormous background noise - even closing the window made no help. So if you like peace and quiet you should definitely book a room on the other side/desire. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the immediate area. Only a few steps away from the "shopping mile" with nice boutiques etc. A larger supermarket is also. The cleanliness was noticeable around the hotel and in Nordwijk itself. dog owners are equipped with sachets and keep to the rule to eliminate droppings. Kudos!

The hotel is located between the Palace hotel and the large and from the outside designed ugly Hus ter Duin! Up to the bars and restaurants and the beach promenade is very short distances. The hotel from the outside is "njaja" impression from the inside very good impression, which but somehow not fit, don't get me wrong, Grand hotel in cities offer such a interior, but not such a hotel ...     The adjacent to the hotel, spa "Azzuro" all guests free of charge (table d'hote 28.50 €) can use is really "5 star" worth it. Applications, great pool, as well as jacuzzi complete the SPA! Free coffee, tea and juice!

    Perfect. Short distance. Good and restaurants in the area, for example. Hans en Grietje, delicious Pfannekuchenhaus, as well as Champs and some other bars. It is fun on weekend visit the Dutch youngsters Barpromenade ... The sight of the clothing and corresponding age is racking. For a longer stay, the Hague, Leiden, Scheveningen and Amsterdam is only 35Km) well, as well as the Kaasmarkt van Alkmaar!

Tastefully decorated hotel, good service, rooms at the back are very quiet and allow a view of the beautiful garden. Unfortunately only 2 plastic chairs on the balcony - no dressing table! In the room no minibar, no welcome drink and no air conditioning. The everything you can expect from a 4 stars hotel. We didn't mind that the beds were not connecting. Hence the "annoying" chink. We would have love to eat at the hotel, but not the Dictates of the 2 the set meals bowing all because the (expensive) two or three course corresponded as a rule not ... our appetite and our pockets. But that is not a problem as there are plenty of good restaurants, where you can pick food at its gusto. What a pity that the Alexander no small dishes. When we were there, It was completely empty regularly prevailed in the dining room. Also so we preferred to eat elsewhere. The majority of bicycle rental we didn't use it, since we 12.50 euro for the day seemed too expensive. The only drawback is that it for smokers no covered area. So smoking these at the front door. This is particularly bothered when companies in the hotel days and then breaks in several smokers. The hotel management a heart for the smokers and a solution. The free internet station located PC in the lobby, not really irritating e-mails or send to welcome, as the "loading" are so long that I would highly recommend, the private Notebook to bring in every room - can be operated. Speaking of "bring": the toilet paper you should bring from home. There is a two-flavor cheap sort. The hotel offers both a private garage beneath as well as a large parking area. We enjoyed the but didn't use it, because when we arrived at the hotel after 5 hours arrival, were all parking by delegates occupied. How thoughtful it would have been if for some would have been reserved spaces. But all in all, we felt comfortable and at a bit cooler temperatures but much sun strolls on the beach and in the dunes. It would be nice if this hotel reviews lead to improvements for the guests. read more

The Alexander hotel is an old hotel which was nicely renovated and has been converted into. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a package with the three course dinner at the hotel restaurant. The dinner there was always excellent. Also the breakfast had plenty of choice from the buffet (it was freshly squeezed orange juice was enough! ). High chairs are available. The rooms are nice but no minibar/fridge. We didn't visit the spa. The beach is about 5 minutes walking distance. There is also the Alexander Beach restaurant with fair prices and lovely sunset. read more

Very nice seaside retreat located, ideal for short break, elegant but not noble, unfortunately not cheap - but what isn't in Holland. The proximity to the ocean is acceptable, upon request a quiet room, the associated Alexander Beach offers beach chairs were eating and drinking (upscale) affordable rates. read more
