Parkhotel Traunsteiner Hof^{(3.5 stars)}

The hotel was determined 30 years ago sometimes completely acceptable, perhaps then the best house on the block. There is plenty run-down, creaky doors, creaky stairs, dusty Candelabra in staircase and a front desk, the more like a bad tempered Concierge in the middle of Paris reminds Al at a fine city hotel in a perfect vacation. Classic Gründerzeithotel with massive staircase, Virtrinen with porcelain, creaky floors etc. (Thomas husband guaranteed here descended!) nevertheless well maintained and well maintained. Overall, the hotel was so surprising, of which we knew only four and five stars hotels have. The entire staff was so accommodating, that it was embarrassing, to make a wish. To problems, such as lactose intolerance, you went immediately. There are also many parking spaces and even garages, which one rarely in a city center has. I have stayed with a number of colleagues in the Parkhotel Traunsteiner courtyard and a single room with breakfast booked. From the outside the hotel looks well maintained, an impression, which also continued after entering. You can see, that it was an older hotel, but all areas, which I got to face, were very well-kept and clean. It is obvious, that is regularly renovated. The front desk is friendly, questions to transport, entertainment and shopping are nice and competent answered. The room, the exemplary was clean, was not very large, but good and practical design. It was bright and friendly ..., despite the downtown location was sleeping with the window open, no problem. The bed was very good, it is clear that the mattress was still relatively new and of good quality. The flatscreen tv worked well, there were all major German channel receptible. The bathroom was large enough and very clean. For three euros was offered from the hotel there is a parking lot in the closed courtyard. The hotel is located in the bahnhofstrasse and is both by train, as well as easy to reach by car. In two minutes is downtown Traunsteiner. After a wellness area with sauna is offered, which I did not use it, but to me by members as described very nice, the hotel is for stays in Traunstein a very good choice. read more
